Reminds me of this one. :)

I really wanted to enter this one, but with final exams two days before it was due... Maybe I'll build my idea anyways, then stash it away for a future opportunity.

14 : 10 9 : 6 20 : 4 2 : 3 16 : 2 5 : 1 I didn't want to like so many Enforcers... ...but they reminded me more of M.A.S.K. type vehicles and transformations.

My attempt to make the Tydirium Shuttle 75094 a bit more slick
rollermonkey replied to Schwizzle's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I was thinking that if the bottom isn't all one thickness, perhaps only putting inverted tiles where the wing isn't at full thickness? The amount of uncovered antistuds would be the make-or-break on that idea, though. -
cable based trees - advise needed

I think that a picture is worth a thousand words. Instead of giving us parts numbers, and a vague idea; play with LDD, make a picture, and then ask us what we think. Because I'm not sure about other people, but whatever you're imagining isn't clear to me. Personally, I'm not about to go searching for what those parts are and then build it for you. (But I'm far from the nicest person here. :P ) -
My attempt to make the Tydirium Shuttle 75094 a bit more slick

Very cool. Using tiles won't increase wing thickness too badly, but inverted tiles probably would. That said, I would like to see if you added the 2x2 white inverted tiles to the bottom, just for comparison. -
LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

I think there's two ships, one with the v-wings and one with the vertical. -

The Snowspeeder looks like it has wheels? It looks better in the non-box cover picture. The TT looks worse in the other pick, lol. The folding mechanism for the Shuttle... I can't figure it out. Do the upper parts slide, or is there an armature folding and unfolding? I think they are sliding, but how do they stay extended? I'm really curious about that set now. Far more so than when we saw the leaked instruction covers. -
LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
rollermonkey replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yes, because nobody actually knows the end. Even the rumors that are out there could be wrong and contain no detail or context. Heck, it could have originated as a fan theory. Making an FO army is going to be super easy! Way easier than an OT army, that's for sure. A resistance army, OTOH... Yikes. -

Not just that, but two skipped numbers? What about 21029 and 21030? -

That FO snowspeeder really doesn't look like much more than a Battlepack. :/ -
Yeah it is! Is the thing that looks like a DBG ski a new part or just something I haven't come across?

Rumor is Luke and thus, R2 may only have a brief appearance at the end of the film. No Leia either. -

TIE looks really nice, as do the Falcon, X-Wing, Rey's Speeder and the ITT. The FO Snowspeeder and Ren's Shuttle are going to take some getting used to. Nobody mentioned that Rey's Speeder doesn't seem to come with BB-8 after all? ...and we certainly didn't get four main figures in that set... Knew y'all were dreaming too big on that one. Nice to see FO troops in pairs in most sets. Even the ST officer is in two sets. Hux and Ren together in the ship most people find iffy though? Heh heh. -
BrickLinking (another) 10179 UCS Millennium Falcon
rollermonkey replied to Lobot's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I added the inventory to my wishlist and printed the inventory, too. As each item came in, I checked them off and removed them from my wishlist. I counted and recounted several times while orders were coming in. It's possible something went awry, but I was very careful the whole time. I was short 4 DBG 1x1 cones, 2 LBG 1x3 plates and 1 LBG 2x3 plate. YMMV- 290 replies

I always find it odd that we call them snowspeeders instead of airspeeders... They are all terrain, aren't they? -

Rebels Season 2 episode 1 aired as an advanced preview, but the rest won't be out for a little while. That said, there's a picture of Kanan's bike in show form in the past page or two. -
Then it seems we may have a new flavor of Architecture sets coming.

tree building with 6052759 Arch 1X12X3
rollermonkey replied to CaptainToad's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Why not half arches? If you're going for a weeping willow look, I would think these would look better? Although I guess it depends on the scale... -
It is, but this isn't the first BBcode site to hide the thing way down at the bottom. :)

All the way at the bottom, on the left, there's a button "Mark Community Read". There's four options in that. Forums, Members, Gallery and Mark All As Read.

Coaster Dynamix? I had one of those from being a coaster enthusiast, but mine wasn't from the TLG collaboration, rather an earlier model. Near as I can tell, it looks like only the train is different? Or can the supports connect to studs, too? (I've never built a LEGO coaster, mostly because I haven't been out of the dark ages long.)
