LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
rollermonkey replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I find it funny that Threepio has a red arm in the Advent set this year. ;) -
IMHO, it needs to be on a larger section of ground. Part of the attraction is the sense of mystery from these statues being buried up to their shoulders, and that's lost on such a tiny base. Maybe if there were 2 or 3 on a single base, it might be improved, but as such, it seems like there's not enough there.

I got confirmation e-mails for my last 2 BNP orders, but not the two before that. It never makes any sense.

For added stability, you could always go catamaran style, too.

Almost looks like those iBrix that were on Kickstarter.

That's plain dumb. Saving 42039 for 2H2015 just makes this wave ridiculously expensive.

http://www.wmur.com/...tent Type=Video Just got shared this on Facebook. A prosthetic arm, that kids can customize with LEGO, to be whatever they want. Digger, spaceship, whatever.

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

Could be a VR helmet for all we know. Love her hair, that kind of accuracy is awesome. The grey guy looks weird. Makes me think of a color-swapped Tusken for some reason. -

Love the HHGTTG reference! While I like the new MF and X-wing builds, I'm not sold on the idea that I actually NEED them, since I have the most recent version of each, and the UCS versions, as well. (OK, 10179 is still under construction, but the last lots have been ordered.) -

Jedi Defender. The other two will be on shelves for at least a year longer. -
The last three lots for my 10179. Woo hoo!

Wow! There's a piece of the EU that you don't see everyday! Looks great, too! -
My Red #3 connector hunt....

You must either be pretty sensitive if you consider that a personal attack or you don't like the individual. Every reply in this topic says essentially the same thing, "BL is better than EBay, and if you like LEGO, you should know that by now" yet you only got hurt by the last one? -
So who likes the new Bricklink skin?
rollermonkey replied to bonox's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I placed two orders last night (the last 3 lots for my 10179, woo hoo!) and had no problem whatsoever. I can't say I didn't notice the change, as I did, but nothing bothered me about the update... And I have Asperger's so it should have! -
LEGO as souvenir - ever bought any?
rollermonkey replied to LAKAbricks's topic in General LEGO Discussion
When I moved to Seattle, I bought the Space Needle at the gift shop. It was the first LEGO I had bought in 25 years or so. :) When we went to Legoland Florida, we got my daughter's picture with a "minifig" (person in a suit) printed directly on LEGO. -

I got three words for ya: Female. X-wing. Pilot. -
What's the length on those? 19L? BnP has them for $0.79 right now. All those greedy mf's on BL can pack sand. :)

You can probably Bricklink it for less, but the instruction books in the Architecture sets are very nice, so it depends on your personal preferences.

It's a cool concept, but the goal was unrealistic. The SBrick kickstarter goal was far smaller (60,000GBP) and only made it in the last few days. That one had similar molding and technology requirements, plus programming for the related apps. They ran their campaign in 6 languages, and got lots of support from LUGs and AFOL fan sites, plus tech sites across the globe. I backed, but frankly, I don't see it happening.
