  1. I'm with Jim on this. If you want the Unimog or Flatbed Truck or both, get them while they're still available.
  2. If there is a 5x11 panel there, what color do you think it could be? From what I can barely see, I would imagine black, but I dunno. I think the container looks unfinished, they should have chosen another shape to make it look "complete". The cab too looks unfinished, just like on 42008. But anyone who buys the set and isn't satisfied with it, can easily modify it. Isn't that a part of the fun?
  3. I have to agree that the cab and container on the container truck looks a bit unfinished. Although I'm not sure how they could better make a container in the actual shape, without having to revert to a square shape.
  4. Yeah, the parts Technyk32231 suggest could be useful, but it's not something I expect.
  5. The towball and connector would probably have to be redesigned, the ball perhaps made slightly bigger and the connector point changed somehow.
  6. And I thought Toyota HiAce 4WD had a bad turning radius...
  7. Oh? Is it as easy as that, just email them and tell them?
  8. I bought 42009 through S@H. It was sent from Denmark, through a warehouse in Belgium, and except the price from S@H, I got a 100 dollar bill from DHL if I knew that DHL would charge me 1/3 of the price for the set, I would never buy it from S@H. I didn't see any option to choose transport company, and I didn't expect to be charged extra, at least not that much. No way I'll go that way again. As for the topic of the thread - I got back into Lego Technic this year, after 10 years. I have around 8 sets of variable size, a number of parts from BrickLink and some MOCs and MODs. I do consider a few sets, but I haven't decided yet if I will buy more sets. I might rather use parts I already have and BrickLink what I'm missing.
  9. Techno and electronic music is my favored genres. I do like most genres, the exceptions are black/death metal, opera, country and classical. Of course it always depends on the songs themselves - if I don't like it, the genre doesn't matter. But in general, electronic music is what I like most. Electronic and a bit rock and pop, that's mostly it for me. Regarding 70's electronic music, I like some of Jean Michel Jarré's songs, like Oxygene 4 and 8. My song of today would be this - started to like it after radio airplay.
  10. I haven't been on here in a while, and browsed through all the topics that's been posted in. I didn't look at the date for the last post in any of them. Although I wouldn't call it "old" when it's been only a week or so since the previous post.
  11. To push out axles, I use any axle long enough. Otherwise I use small tongs when I need a good grip to pull one out. The small tongs I also use to hold e.g. bushings when I need to get them into tight places.
  12. Nice model is it made from only the parts that came with the model?
  13. For me, 42009 Mobile Crane MK II. Including parts sorting, I spent around 17,5 hours over 3 days to build it.
  14. Haha, that looks cool
  15. Usually I only consume liquids when I build, like soda. For chips, one could keep a wet washing cloth around to clean the fat off the fingers.
  16. Just send a BrickLink order.
  17. I experienced this already in that era.
  18. Now it's obvious and I feel like an idiot
  19. Handle is correct. Handlebar is the whole bar with both handles.
