It's so obvious that this is not Lego, given the "famous car" thing, that I wonder how the seller even managed to write "Technic"... didn't he even look at the bags?

After work yesterday and today, I downloaded the building instructions and built a modified version of the Flatbed Truck B-model of 8264 Hauler.

[WIP] 6x6 Articulated Truck
N-4K0 replied to KopMaister's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Well, even if the toll limit was raised to 1000 kr, it wouldn't help with sets already over that limit in price. The next time I consider buying a set, I'll try this coolshop site. -

They were mean to me too when I got my 42009 through S@H. The information in the box said it was sent with DHL through a warehouse in Belgium, and I got a damn tax on about 1/3 of what I paid for the set, which was already expensive. I'm not tempted to use S@H or DHL anymore. -

Probably that it's one of the 11 pieces that has 666 in the number. Although I could understand it if this was #06666.

Lego is for everyone who likes it I find that Lego - Technic for me - stimulates my creativity. I have a huge interest in excavators, tractors etc., and Lego Technic allows me to create my "personal" machine. Whether I make something from scratch or modify an official set, I can create whatever my heart desires. That's Lego. Age is just a number. I once read that "you're not grown-up until you dare to be childish". And how true isn't that? Lego is a hobby. Lego, football, modeling, it's a hobby equal to any other hobby. Lego is for everyone who likes it

Custom parts

I would like to have that part with an axle hole instead of a pin hole. Basically an improved and seemingly stronger version of this: I find this one weak by its construction, I think it would be stronger if it was made in the style of the angled connector #1. -
LOL, mixed up FTW

Yeah, too bad it's legal. It should have been clear to everyone that it was limited to 20.000 copies. Anyone with morals should buy 1 or max. 2 sets to let as many as possible get the set. It's sad to see so many people who only cares about how many sets they can get their hands on and resell for much higher prices.

1. I grew out of Lego around 14. I gained interest again around December last year and ordered my first "modern" set online a few days before New Years Eve. 2. I don't remember when I got my first set, but I guess around 6, so 8 years pre-dark ages and less than a year post. 3. Hard to say. I guess as long as possible. I'm not far away from 25, so I guess at least 30's. 4. I guess a mix of memories and interest in the new line. 5. Perspective? Not really sure what to add here. Kronos - supportive wife, girls who loves Lego... sounds like you have the perfect AFOL-life

How is the Mindstorms-white different from the Technic-white? Is it more bright?
