  1. I've had my car for 3 years and 2 months since I got my license. I've drove about 21.000 km since then. An average of about 6.000 km a year, I think. I don't remember, but I think I've had to replace my tires every 2nd years. Maybe every 3rd, depending.
  2. Uh, I don't see what's so interesting with the sketch is it the fact that it seem to have 4 axles and be more similar to the 2005 version than the final model is?
  3. When I finished mine, I experienced the problem that the outriggers would not move at all. Neither in/out or up/down. I wonder if the connection through the turntable didn't get correctly assembled. I didn't attempt to find out as I was going to disassemble it anyway.
  4. Do they sometimes start randomly at round numbers, like 42000, and skip numbers on the way? The Technic sets of last year (I think) were in the range of 9390 - 9398. I know other themes occupy numbers as well, but do TLG skip large groups of numbers by starting at round ones?
  5. Maybe I'm blind, but I can't figure out exactly where
  6. A 2L pin with a 1L axle on could be useful, but I can't spot any such thing anywhere. Guess we'll have to wait for the release or for more pics to come. Personally I see some interesting and useful parts on the snow mobile.
  7. Indeed a good-looking car, and white suits it very well.
  8. I've seen them, I meant that I'd like blue or green to be used as the main color in more sets
  9. Blue ain't bad either, hope they start using it more than just for seats
  10. I wish green, the type of green as in 42008, would be used in more sets and produced in a larger quantum. Would be nice with more green instead of the overused yellow.
  11. I must have missed that and yes, the cargo plane provides a bunch of parts to be used. Maybe the plane is a sign towards a re-issue of the space shuttle?
  12. One of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard
  13. A studless re-issue of the space shuttle could still be done. The purpose of space shuttles may be over, but it's not too late to do it as a tribute.
  14. Awesome ATV, looks great!
  15. A lime green version would have been awesome to see
  16. The cargo plane looks nice and well-designed, but planes ain't my cup of tea. Neither helicopters. But cool that they've brought back the flex axle, even though it looks like there's only 3 on the plane. The snow mobile is the only model I might get from the 1H-sets.
  17. I must agree. The metric system is simple and easy to understand and use, while the inch-based (?) system you use in USA is much more complicated to use IMO. Y u no use easy way?
  18. Do I need an account on BrickSafe to upload pics there? I doubt I'll be doing such very often, so I dunno if I should bother with it
  19. I'm not participating in any Halloween-party or anything. But if I was to, it would have been awesome to come as the Witchking of Angmar he's one of my favorite characters from LOTR.
  20. Oh, I missed that line damn, if he makes instructions, I think I'll have to buy this model and make his bulldozer
  21. Moving the tires further out with a half-bushing is the only thing I've done with the front axle. If I take some pics, will I have to upload them to BrickShelf or any other website before I can post them here? I've done pretty much nothing such before. It would probably be a disaster
  22. Will you make instructions for this model? E.g. pictorial instructions?
  23. It's been going slowly with me lately. I built mine in maybe 3 days, but had to do a BL-order for the parts I didn't have. Today I put the finishing touch on it. I've made some modifications from the original MOC given in the first post, but otherwise it's the same. I've put mirrors in front of the doors, added some pieces to make a lock for the hood when it's down, and otherwise some minor adjustments like placing the air filter on the left side in the position where the exhaust pipe is on the right side, and replaced the connectors making the diagonal edges of the cabin with axles. I've put 1 half-bush on the inside of the wheel rims to get the tires a bit further out, as I experienced that the tires touched the frame of the tractor when fully turned.
  24. Is there actually stores where they don't know what they sell? I didn't think there were any copies of 41999 still available for sale.
