I didn't have the chance to get the 8275 as it was released before I got back into Lego. From the pics, it's too big for my taste, and I'm not a big fan of studded beams. I doubt I would have bought it even if I had the chance. That said, I'm starting to like the 42028. I'm seriously considering to get it.

You forgot to add a 3rd option - none of them Honestly, I've never tried or even SEEN any of these 2 brands, but from what I've read on this forum, I don't want to know anything

Wow, unusual find. I too got 6 booklets, like most others. -
[MOC] Programmable "Funky Drummer"
N-4K0 replied to Fissl's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Cool and funny -
This is what I feel about the topic too. I'm only into Technic, and I buy a few sets I really like, then mod the ones I keep built. Those I don't want to keep, goes to parts. Although now I mostly use BrickLink for parts and only buy sets I want to keep. Otherwise I MOC if I have a particular model I want to make. The only thing I know for sure is that I would never be able to create a model like e.g. 42009 Mobile Crane MK II by myself. I don't have the skills for that. I also tend to favor sturdiness over realism when I make a MOC.

Got into an old song today I didn't know was from this band. BTW, how do I change the text in a link from the URL to e.g. band name and song title, like in posts 3943 and 3944 ?

42009 Owners ... Speak Up!
N-4K0 replied to DrJB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
42009 have only been on the market for a little more than 6 months. I would think it's too soon to expect a price drop. -
Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
N-4K0 replied to Sheepo's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yeah, stupid tax! I gotta do this myself soon, unfortunately. I'm building a MOC and need quite a number of blue parts, and I have to look to Germany to find them.- 195 replies

If You Could Be a Superhero, What Powers Would You Have?
N-4K0 replied to Sir Brickalot's topic in Community
+1 to Orange Leader and ShadowWolfHount I would want the ability to teleport, so I could go to foreign countries to meet friends, without having to spend hours and money travelling. -
[JFAIR] Something Really Old
N-4K0 replied to piterx's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Not a fan of airplanes, but I like this one. Cool setup with the engine blocks. -
There are positive and negative things with both the loader and the pick-up. Front end loader: + new green engine blocks + new large bucket + PF and RC stuff (for those who care) + cool B-model - more PF and RC stuff (for those who doesn't care) - yet another yellow set (and flagship set) - too similar to the previous loader 8265 (boring to some) - price will likely be high despite ~1600 parts due to the RC stuff (I think) Pick-up truck: + 5x11 panels in red, x9 + new 3x11 flat panels in red, x2 + good parts pack in red + B-model (not yet revealed) - holes in the design (personally don't find this a problem) - no chrome (for those who wants that) _______________________________________ I would say a B-model for the pick-up is a good thing, depending on what this will turn out to be.

Made some more mods on my MOCs. Waiting for my currently last BrickLink order.
