    If the Mercedes rumor is true, I hope for a MB-trac, I like tractors more than trucks The MB-trac is old and wouldn't really promote anything, if promotion is the intention behind a possible Mercedes set, but one can hope.

    I once read a quote saying "you're not grown-up until you dare to be childish". Following that, all of us here are grown-up :laugh: As for the topic - I'm looking on getting the loader if I find a good discount sometimes. I do think it's worth it, although I would prefer the set to have less PF components so that the price would be nicer.

    I believe that is a 2L pin connector with a single pin with pin hole on each end. You can look up the parts list at Rebrickable, the mentioned parts are there.

    Since 4 cylinders are arranged inline, I suppose 6 and 8 are in a V-shape (at least partly) due to the space, to avoid the engine from being too long. Or I'm completely in the wild.

    Fact is, us adult fans of Lego have far more money and opportunity to buy sets, but I guess there's far less of us, putting us at a risk when it comes to creating sets especially for us older builders.

    To be fair, I dislike old studded parts from the 80's, so I don't use such parts. With the exception of some plates, and trans-clear and trans-colored plates as vehicle lights, I only use modern studless parts.

    Here they start selling Xmas stuff and decorating in October. By the time Xmas actually arrives, I'm sick of it already. That's how it's been for me the last few years. I don't understand why they can't just WAIT until December 1st, until the very month where Xmas is in, starts!

    Yeah, I bought it for parts and didn't care so much about flaws, but the steering was poor.

    If you want the Unimog, go for it while you still can. You'll be able to get the Volvo later. EDIT: the Unimog is 120 Euros more expensive? With the number of PF elements the Volvo has, that sounds weird.
