  1. That’s an amazing build. Love how it seamlessly flows between each model. congrats on your subs too, I know that’s a huge achievement
  2. That could be a good competition too and link the the Lego Forma product !
  3. Something that resembles a flying machine (airplane, helicopter, etc ... whatever the mods decide is the theme/rules) ... we’ve all seen many videos that pure Lego doesn’t fly and we don’t need to get into that discussion again! :)
  4. I’m up for a flying machine competition. There was the non-competition JFair years ago on here and I really enjoyed that ... but then I’m an aeronautical engineer by degree qualification ... I do slightly slower vehicles by career
  5. @Jim do you have a list of all the TC competitions ? Another thought regarding the Supercar idea is how do you define what a Supercar is? Even in the real world it’s a very unclear definition and depends as much on the era it’s from.
  6. Why would you want to do that ? :) you’d have to change the hubs over too from what I recall when I build both as the wheels mount differently on the Bugatti
  7. @Jim - the chassis idea is ok but I do agree specifying a wheel size would be good. But I fear the pro builders would run riot on this competition. Would it be unpowered too as any buwhizz, sbrick or rc motor often has an advantage when showing off functions compared to standard PF. Just checked the last time we did a C model competition was back in 2014 as I did one based off the Hot Rod. happy to take part in either
  8. Both are 1:8 scale and both cars are similar size in real life. The Porsche has a slightly higher roofline and I think the Bugatti may be slightly wider
  9. Who says the next competition that’s lined up for us is a wheeled vehicle one?
  10. I just haven’t had the time on the Mac to continue with it recently. Unfortunately it shares a desk with the girlfriends work PC and she doesn’t keep a tidy desk! But I will return to it as I’d got a long way along just the quirks of suspension and steering to solve if I remember. as to the next competition sometimes just a part count restriction doesn’t work a the functions / size of a model built with RC motors or sbrick or buwizz can often be far more impressive than “standard” PF functions
  11. Thanks for the info. Looks like it could be expensive for the arches
  12. Yes the front arches on 42056 are printed and not stickers.
  13. If we do have another “powered” contest can Sbrick and buzzwizz be excluded to create a level playing field?
  14. The Lego comp was quite a quick one. Only for October I think
  15. What’s the new MOC looks like some form of robot/sub
  16. So asking the obvious question to @Jim and @Milan ... When do we think TC15 will be ? I've taken TC14 apart, I've got a part completed MOC I might try and work on (based on my failed TC12 attempt), plus I'm still trying to find time for working on an LDD of @Thirdwigg's 911 ... and then there's a UCS Falcon to build and my many purchases from Lego House :) ... so much Lego and not enough time ! So any ideas when the next Contest will be ?
  17. As I’m sure I’ve said before I like to build, especially from instructions, to calm myself, relax and switch off. i guess a bit like adult colouring books that were “on trend” a year or 2 back here in the uk with the aim of adults relaxing while colouring. im looking forward to this even if it ends up being just a 1 off limited collectors item
  18. Here you go :) 152 x LBG Panel Plate 5x11 (64782) including 2 spare for decoration 536 x Black Pin (2780) 16 x Black Pin 3L with Stop Bush (32054) 16 x Red Axle 2 Notched (32062) 16 x LBG Connector #2 (32034) 16 x DBG Connector 1L (18654) 8 x LBG Axle 5 (32073) Plus an assortment of Technic Figures
  19. It’s on display at the Paris Motor Show if anyone is lucky enough to go there. Unfortunately I’m not going
  20. Well Arthur C Clarke is very confused as this Monolith also isn’t 1 x 4 x 9 but instead is 1 x 2.333 x 5.133
