  1. I have the Catwoman set, but it is not with me right now. Maybe I could check it tomorrow when I am at my parent's house.
  2. An airbrush kit and practice with it could produce the best results. It would cost a lot and take more time though.
  3. Lava Beast is the only Beast I have yet. He is a really awesome figure. I love how evil he looks. I have him on display fighting Gali and Akida (my only 2016 Toa so far) surrounded by a horde of Skull Spiders and Shadow Traps.
  4. This question has been asked before. Perhaps the mods will merge it into the previous topic. But for a short answer, Railbricks if offline. It was a bit of a monumental task, and personal events made it so the mods couldn't keep up with it anymore.
  5. Yes it was the "Go Rogue" video. I know it was focused on Star Wars toys in general but the new Death Star is very obvious
  6. I just saw a video on Star War's Official Facebook showing action figures building the new Death Star set. Has Lego released an official press announcement yet, or are they just letting it be shown without fanfare?
  7. The Idea of a Toa with power over Robots is rather cool but really, Sonic the Hedgehog is involved in this to? WHAT THE CRAP?!?
  8. Speaking of The Clone Wars, I just finished watching the only two episodes I hadn't finished yet, the Jar-Jar/Mace arc towards the end of the series. I liked it overall, but I couldn't help but feel it was ripping off from Temple of Doom a bit to much. And seeing Jar Jar with a love interest was kind of weird...
  9. Sorry to bump this but I was looking up plans for Timesavers in HO, and I couldn't help but notice your Lego adaptation. This would definitely save more space than the HO one could ;)
  10. I have been using Netflix to catch up with the Star Wars: The Clone Wars "Lost Missions" and last night watched the story arc involving Rush Clovis. As much as I love how it was hinting at Anakin's fall it seemed a bit overwrought. Seriously after watching the second episode of the story arc it's a miracle Luke and Leia still existed, with how much Padme was pissed with Anakin after that...
  11. "Nilbog, it's Goblin spelled backwards!" :D
  12. If there was a Constraction Macy I'd buy it. Ultimate Macy is the only Nexo Knights set I own, so I'd like to have a Constraction version.
  13. I think that one Winnie The Pooh film was the last 2D film they did. But no one saw it since it was released against "The Deathly Hollows Part 2." Really Disney failed huge on that release schedule. Pooh could never beat Harry Potter in the box office!
  14. It's not that I have anything against 3D animation, but I really feel like Disney needs to have a 2D film every few years or so. It is an art form I feel Disney perfected, and I fear they are losing the talent to do it again.
  15. The Nemerald Night runs again! :D
  16. Well I liked the coincidence when I first read Death Star. Was a great Imperial character from what I thought at the time. But as time has worn on I have forget that man's name and the situation seems more ridiculous now. An issue I had with the original EU was how they either a) constantly shoehorned in characters from the OT films or b) made inconsequential characters make grand impacts on the films stories that have little need to be really part of the plot. The worst offender of this was the kids book series "Galaxy of Terror." I swear with the how often Luke, Leia, and Han showed up in those kids lives they might as well have been their babysitters...
  17. Ah I remember reading Death Star! (Spoilers ahead) Well I guess it is all non-canon now anyways!
  18. Sava's designs are awesome. Seeing SP 4449 is one of my favorites I really should buy a copy of Sava's instructions from his Bricklink store and build myself one. Of course I already have a Bachmann HO Scale SP 4449, a Daylight wall sign, a book on the SP 4449, and a very unique piece of 4449 memorabilia: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=3547422 Is it possible to be to obsessed with the Daylight?
  19. It would be tempting to Bricklink a G2 head for the sole purpose of having the MOUP forever stuck to its face! :)
  20. I did read in High School Xenocide and started Children of the Mind but I lost interest halfway through. Honestly I can't remember much of the latter books, they are definitely far more intellectual and less action packed. The end of Xenocide and the subject for Children of the Mind just got a little to weird for me to follow. Ultimately I would have to say they are very forgettable stories compared to the original Ender's Game and Speaker of the Dead. If you were to continue reading the Ender-verse stuff I would recommend Ender's Shadow, it offers a good look at Beane's story and really makes him a more fleshed out character. There was also a graphic novel short story thing I really liked in high school but I can't seem to find it online for the life of me.
  21. I am watching all these MOUP projects closely. I hope to someday build the Makuta Titan model, but in the meantime I would settle for just the mask in my hands. Does anyone have photos of the metal masks when finished?
  22. The nose of your model seems to be a bit longer than the model Valgarise made which is a good thing, ALCO's with long noses are a lot more recognizable. Looking at the photos of a PA locomotive online the headlight up front is encased in a squarish box. Capturing this feature on the model will further help differentiate it as an ALCO PA and help it not seem like an EMD F series unit. You might want to eliminate a radiator or two on the roof since most photos of PA's I find online suggest they only have one 'disc' radiator thingy on the roof. (For example this N-Scale model: http://www.katousa.com/N/PA/176-4107.JPG ) I am impressed by the joining of the red and black slopes in the nose, it is a very convincing effect. By keeping it in 6-wide size to it definitely looks a lot like an official Lego product and makes me really wish Lego would produce sets that looked like this more often. I am really liking the way it comes together overall.
  23. I would like to think it will outlast us, but the world is volatile. Business missteps like the early 2000's could happen again leading to the collapse of Lego. Or maybe a war could start which affects Lego's profits and ability to operate. But like many here I hope to still see Lego in 2070 and beyond.
  24. Since "The Clone Wars" never depicted the start of ROTS, I just accept the original "Clone Wars" as the story until stated otherwise.
  25. Yea I can vouch that Lego is overly expensive in South America. I lived in Argentina for two years. A set that is $20 in the USA would cost you $50 in Argentina ($500 pesos) if my memory serves me correctly. Of course you could get a bootleg Hero Factory clone set for $10 pesos in Argentina or a bootleg copy of The Lego Movie for $15 pesos. Lego is at a huge disadvantage to the pricing of the clone brands down there.
