  1. Sorry about that. LDD is permissable too though. I just need the deadlines so judging can take place and be finished by the end of the month. I'm going to keep up with these months all year though, so plenty of chances to join in
  2. "Fall down drunken old fool." Same Again
  3. "Well boss, if you are going to go searching through I'd suggest looking in that big tan barrel too." Tesni shouted as she swung.
  4. Tesni smiled. "Chop chop Cysgodion, Unrestrained needs to be contained."
  5. Okay, any advice for best way to get there? Where to fly to etc?
  6. Tesni simply stood swiping a cloth over her weapons. Ready for battle as soon as it came.
  7. There are a number of rubber parts from Bionicle that come in shades and even glow-in-the-dark that would work as ghosties. For nauticle busts, Agents had a octopus that glowed!
  8. "Some loot would be welcome down in that room at least." Tesni grumbled, sliding Cysgodion home and following the group down.
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Me4YXPh5NEY That moment when you realise that you toatally should have bought an album on the strength of art and tracklist. Even when you have never heard of them. Oh well, off to HMV while I still can.
  10. Well, that is a nice change for battles now! So someone go wake us up so we can beat down the enemies!
  11. "What's a girl got to do to KO a giant around here? I mean really!" She threw another attack against the giant. "Ah well, we just have to keep it up, we'll get Daggerfall back on his feet after we finish these gasbags off." Cinnia Cinnia Tesni Tarn
  12. I like that, I'll have to buy one. The earlier tanker has already been stripped for parts when I built my Octan sponsored racing car so a new design would make a nice replacement. The colour blocking is certainly attractive and the front design is pretty stylish. Thanks for the review (The only issue with this year is my "Buy EVERYTHING!" price point has increased to £20 and under...)
  13. It's more for roleplaying I want to be in that Wren quest, The pagoda is great fun though, just wish my kills didn't keep on being nicked!
  14. "Oh, so much to hit Cysgodion, a large target is always best!" Tesni continued her attack on the giant. Cinnia Sir Christopher Cinnia Tarn Tesni
  15. I wish Tesni could get back to Eubric! argh, should have hung around in the hall...
  16. It must be because you are based in Denmark. I can imagine warehouse leaks are a nightmare for TLG and someone selling unreleased in the area sets looks mighty suspect to a company. That would then draw attention to everything else. Put it this way: In the UK a supermarket delivery was hijacked and found empty a little while later, it had been full of clothes and LEGO for Christmas stock for a store in the area. A week or so later an eBay seller (or three I think) started selling brand new unopened sets as unwanted gifts (prior to Christmas too!) posting from the county neighbouring the area the lorry was hijacked in. I had put a set or two on my watchlist in the first instance, until things became more suspect I was also happy to believe someone got some sets they did not want and were selling them on. Before the lots were due to end they all disappeared and the account was suspeneded. Later news report told of the suspects being apprehended. So sometimes authorities have to keep an eye on things!
  17. Please don't rise to it chaps. Good sir. We kind of know we are all nerds here. 'Least that's how I see it, after all we are on a forum on the internet dedicated to LEGO, in a subforum dedicated to the LEGO that barely lasts two years... Orders of magnitutde and all that. Please be warned however, any more behaviour like this and you will be having a little chat with staff.
  18. "Let's keep at it, we'll learn what we can with each hit!" Tesni once again fought against the giant with Cysgodion Battle order Cinnia Sir Christopher Cinnia Tesni Tarn Sir Christopher
  19. The other thing is to collect the RGB/RAL numbers on official LEGO colours to match the tones to perfection when printing on regular sticker paper.
  20. 2012 is over and so is the LEGO Technic “You design it, we make it” competition. Now go vote! You need to sign in with your LEGO ID to vote. You can only vote once, so take your time. Voting ends 22/1/2013. Let's see what exciting new fan designed Technic set will be on it's way!
  21. "Right, we need to tread carefuly here, I'll take the big guy and eachof you take someone different." Tesni shouted to her team-mates. "Giant in the Clouds, meet Cysgodion." Battle Order Cinnia Sir Christopher Tesni Tarn Sir Christopher
  22. What with this being Judging over Voting you can take any sort of risks and liberties with the build as you like. We are fair and balanced when judging but it also means stringent rules and regulations do not need to be in place to ensure voting goes off without a hitch. These building drives are about expanding you imagination into the more varied Action Themes. While SciFi has certain tropes and cliches that allow regular contributions Action is less defined and that makes MOCs a little less forthcoming. There will be many more subtheme buildign drives here in Action this year and many more tags to be won!
  23. Swivel is a bit fail in MB figures though. Infact, from comparisons between varied types of MB figure, the poseability at that scale makes things rather flimsy at best and downright terrible at worst. The original figures had ball joints in the arms to allow a range of movement, six out of twelve of my figures from this era have one or both arms missing due to the ball joint snapping from the stress of regular, even careful, play and use. The "second" generation Dragon version figures are a little more robust but were prone to losing hands in my experience. Then we move on to the Pirates, mainly the PotC figures. Their joints, ball and socket again, fall apart with ease but delicate manipulation can pose them. Now we come the Halo figures and the Power Rangers figures. The Halo figs are Action Figures in miniature. They have overcome many of the issues present in the PotC gen figs but are still prone to "overclutch" in the hands which then become easy to remove. The Power Rangers figures are more classical styled, the main difference being a single peg at the waist which leads to clutch issues between torso and hips. Essentially if applied to a brick or plate, the legs seperate from the torso with ease over removal of the entire figure. Lets just say that while the LEGO minifig may be constrained, it is the most safe, hardy and quality figure you can have at that scale. Extra poseability would compromise these qualities even if TLG managed to design something to satisfaction.
  24. "Don't forget those instruments cariad! You may not be a bard but if we can take them along I'm sure they'll pick up some good gold back at the hall or marketplace!" Tesni called, rushing up the stairs.
