I don't hang around on flickr, but I really meant that I could swear I've seen this building in real life! I'm surprised you haven't gotten your MOC expert badge yet! Keep up the good work!
-
Well, I can't argue with that. Odd that I don't remember, as I saw the movie three times.

Well Star Wars clearly come's first, as my name points out, but now Technic is growing on me so much, I might want to somehow change me name to Darth Technicus! In fact, I just built the new Buggy 10 minutes ago! I even modded it already so the axles in the back are connected by an offset axle with a few other parts. I may just post what I did in the Technic forum soon! Works well with Belville people.

Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon...
Darth Legolas replied to Follows Closely's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Well I don't know why this topic is necessary, but that is an unbelievably great deal! If it came pre-built, that would make more sense, but still, 250 for the whole thing? It's huge! If you want the model, keep the model, if you don't want it, there's quite a lot of handy parts to pick from that thing. -
What a great MOC! I love the striping at the top and bottom. It's very detailed, perhaps a bit too similar to Grand Emporium, but I could swear I've seen this around before! You've done an excellent job! I wish I could buy it!

This was one of the worst scenes in the movie! If it weren't for this, I honestly would have liked this movie, but honestly, Indiana Jones was never physically possibly, but this simply went beyond unbelievable. You'd need a lot more lead to stop a nuclear blast than that! You captured the scene very well though, Sir Gecko. The ground looks perfect, and the inside of the refrigerator is great! I just realized, in the movie, shouldn't the refrigerator have had shelves? Oh well, very good vignette!

There's definitely another topic out there like this, it's a few months old.

Does Space Police III promote racism and xenophobia?
Darth Legolas replied to Sonic Screwdriver's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
No, that's Admiral Ackbar, who looks nothing like a squid, but he's a Mon Calamari, the squid-heads are Quarrens. It's like this in a lot of Lego themes, so maybe a little, but I'm not sure it's completely intended. In Power Miners, Rock Monsters are more like animals, so it's not as wrong, but in Atlantis and SPIII, humans are the good guys and fish/aliens are the bad guys. -
Fake lego.com or unfare commerce.
Darth Legolas replied to BatonMedved's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That makes a little more sense... but I'm still confused. That might explain why when you switch to English you can't get back to Russian. It's very well organized for an illegal site though. Well I hope someone besides me notices this topic soon! -
Fake lego.com or unfare commerce.
Darth Legolas replied to BatonMedved's topic in General LEGO Discussion
When I switch it to English, it is the Lego website, with my homepage. This is in some weird language that starts with a P, and has Kindermix above it, but when I re-route it from Lego's website, it's the same URL and the same website. Go to Lego.com> Select P.... whatever, right under Portugal, and Lego directly links there. Seems to be some form of Russian, but it's part of Lego! -
Bi-rotor tilt copper
Darth Legolas replied to Zerobricks's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That's what I was thinking, I don't know if there are really copters like this though... It looks great! Very nice use of those gray treads! It may need a little more color, but I think it's excellent as-is! What motor did you use? -
Fantabulous! You hit the nail on the head. People just love fixing this ship up because there is no interior, but too many times have people completely butchered the ship for their own purposes. You were able to keep the beautiful outside 100% intact, while the inside now has room. Expert job! I couldn't possibly suggest anything better. EDIT: Just re-read this again. You can pick it up? I would've though the thing would be immobilized, but now it's even sturdier? And it light's up too! You deserve a prize.

10121 will probably be introduced at the NY toyfair, just like the AT-OT and Dropship. I would bet it would be a spring exclusive. @RocketClone... I remember now, yes, it is an Imperial Shuttle, but it's Midi-Scale? I don't recall that. I remember somebody saying it will be a huge round-up with an Endor AT-AT, the Shuttle and Landing Pad as 10121, and then you could add it to last year's Battle of Endor. I really don't recall a midi-scale in there besides the Star Destroyer though...

I don't know, Lego can make things happen. The Pirate Tank was an extremely obscure ship just like this, in a 2 episode feature, but this one is really ugly. But if Lego were to make the set, it would be all about the Mandalorian minifigs. For now though, let's stick to bigger rumors. Off Topic: I'm sick of the Clone Wars right now, in every episode it's just new ship after ship. I'm starting to think the creators have a 2-second attention span, and have to make a new ship every week. There are probably more ships that came out of the clone wars than there are in the entire Original Trilogy combined. But even if you don't agree with that, thank you for agreeing that the ship is crazy weird. On Topic: Lego could definitely make this, and be able to stand up, and it could be a really nice set, but there's almost no substantial evidence at the moment, so I don't think it's worth fussing over.

I love it! The trucks are cute, though some not my favorite, but it's great that you could get your fire station to fit five trucks! This is a really nice MOC, especially the building!

Okay, so it's gut the technic pin in light gray, a regular gray megaphone/droid gun, a regular gray pistol in the pack, an upside-down white ski-thingies, and a 1X1 stud with clip... Courtesy of Lonnon Foster:

I am 90% positive they will. It will be bad quality, but I'd definitely see Aayla in a magnet, with Cad Bane possible, and another so-and-so. I don't know why you don't like the CTT though, that thing is tied with the Wampa Cave for #1 on my Star Wars list! Well, Sok, in case you've forgotten, you came on this site providing rumored information. It's also not a 2011 rumor according to him, it's an exclusive for 2010. I'm not going to believe it yet, but I could see it happening. A few of those new Mandos too. Unfortunately, the ship is a hideous mess, possibly the worst ship in Star Wars. Of course, now we have a hell of a lot of "rumored sets" with no other proof, and five sets with none but set numbers. That would be the midi-scale Star Destroyer, the AT-AT, Cad Bane's speeder, 10121, though that is 100% confirmed, it's another hush-hush exclusive, and that' a lot. I know there's one more, I forget though...

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
Darth Legolas replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
It didn't even cross my mind that these could be the bad-plastic. I'm sure some of the new elements like the clown hair won't be up to par, but if these are low-quality, I would guess they would cancel line 2. It would be a darn shame, because I really like some of these minifigures. I guess we'll wait and see. -
I'm getting the Wampa Cave partly to complete my huge Hoth Diorama, but mostly because I need all of the Snow Speeders I can get. I think the CTT can attach, unless there is another reason for the giant protruding beam with a technic pin at the top. Lego's first AT-RT was the closest, though it didn't have good posability, the second was just a two-man vehicle, they weren't trying. This new one is just made to fit into the ship, regardless of how ugly it is. It looked better in the older pictures.
-
Well, looks like the CTT can attach to the LAAT/C. What do ya know? It also looks like the AT-RT is horrific. It seems it is storeable though, which is the main reason for the design I guess. We don't see much new from the Wampa Cave, it just looks like all features described, great Snow Speeder, Wampa, cave with lightsaber shooter and Luke-dropper, and Luke and Zev. Those two are on my list, thanks Tinn-Man!

You know, I never got back to you on that. I have another question. So I motorized the alternate model for the Ralley Truck, using the mechanism you showed me, but I have no room for the motor box, and the M-motor really does overheat. It works well, but it has a few kinks here and there. I have trouble gearing it, as with the spring box, the gear attatched to the steering must be lined up with the axle, but so should the axle attatched to the motor and spring box. I don't really have enough room to go through the gears to do that. I also do note that it overheats a lot. How can I fix that?
-
Oh my God! That's what they're used for? Well, that's genius. I use an M-motor for everything. Besides NXT motors, that's all I have, and I have about 8, maybe more. I used an M-motor for steering on my most recent creation, and it does get very warm. There's almost no way around that on mine though, because the motor's connected to an axle that goes right through a spring box and into the steering. I'm on my way though.

I'll join your forum, it looks very well run. I like your MOCs and customs so far! The three-winged thingie looks really nice! Just a tip, it's a bad idea to run around advertising your site in every post, but it does look good. Welcome to Eurobricks!

The Imperial Flagship - How long 'til it's gone?
Darth Legolas replied to Broken Bricks's topic in LEGO Pirates
According to brickset, it's still available in Europe. The difference is, that was a seasonal set, and it still exists in some places. There are levels of exclusiveness. There are retail-specific stores like "R"us exclusives, then Lego-only, then regional store only, then, select few only. There are also country exclusives, such as Dino 2010 as apposed to Dino Attack, as well as those lucky guys and gals who got their Mirror Exclusives. The IF is a Lego store and S@H only exclusive, and those last a pretty long while as long as they are not seasonal. As far as I know, the Grand Carousel, and most modular buildings are Lego exclusives, and they have all lasted over a year, if not over 2.
