Sorry... I think I was typing in the wrong tone. I meant to say that she wasn't wearing different clothes on the CTT, not that there's no chance of the torso changing. But since the discussion on Ahsoka can't be resolved until we get better pictures, does anyone know any more about the "Cad Bane's Speeder?"
-
No, not really. I don't know where that idea came from: We do get a good shot at the gunner though. Anyway, in the prelim picture, it does look like she's wearing something bigger around the belt, but I don't think Lego is going to change the torso.
-
Really? I always though those were cameras. They look like cameras the way Lego made them in the Death Star. I'll have to go search that. Very nice comparison, by the way! I love the Death Star I have, but this is very, very accurate compared!

Luke Skywalker Dagobah torso - printing on back?
Darth Legolas replied to brickzone's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well I never new that. Maybe that's why the set cost so much. I forget that price now though, anyone have the retail price, because I'd love to compare the cost of an X-wing and Dagobah to an X-wing and 4-5 extra minifigs. I'd just call it a sleeveless shirt. -
Well, there's that, but I think he means the difference between old Phase II troopers and new phase II troopers altogether. Now we have three types of clone printing: The original 2002 phase I troopers, which are very similar if not the same as the 2005 torsos, then we have Clone Wars Phase I printing and Clone Wars/2010 Phase II printing. Funny thing is, I replaced Kit Fisto and made my old V-wing pilot, as well as the three old ARC-170 pilots "gunners." Turns out I was actually being accurate!

They zoom in on their faces. They're all over the place at the Battle of Coruscant and you see Captian Jag right out in front when he kills Plo Koon. They make more of an appearance than Phase I pilots do! I will just flat out say that the pilot in Palpatine's shuttle is the new open faced ARC pilot. There is no speculation on that, it's just plain clear and simple.
-
Holy cow! I would definitely vote for yours! You really went all out on this one! It's huge! I don't even care about the detail, the plain size of that thing is astounding! Never take it apart! If I ever hear you did, I might just die! Great job!
-
Please, this doesn't even belong in it's own topic. Sure, we have a new Boba, and sure, we have Mandos in the Clone Wars, but this is all just a guess with absolutely no evidence backing it, and we also have a much larger, sturdier rumor that LSW will be gone in 2011.
-
No, I'm looking at the full picture right here, no zooming, there are definitely two shades of blue, original and the common light blue. I think it may just be a placeholder fluke though, like the butt-ugly disgraceful (pain-bringing) cockpit piece. But honestly, is there anyone inside Lego who can give me a sign of hope they'll change that ugly hideous mass of trans-dark clear plastic? EDIT: Yes.
-
Very nice cockpit design, interior especially! The R2-Dome idea was also very innovative! I've never really liked the Delta-7 series, but you made it look great! But really, the interior is astounding! It looks just like something out of the movie!

Indeed, the set may come with duel faces for Greivous as he did need a faceplate transplant or something.

MOC Expert and Frontpage. I am psychic. Though I think we can all say that, this is a great MOC! Outstanding!
-
I am very sorry, we have known this and have had legal pictures (through a video) of the boxes and images already. Thanks anyways!

Odd that everyone loves making UCS venators. Well, this is one of the best! I think my favorite thing on it is the bridge design. Perhaps the engines could use just a teeny bit more greebles, but other than that, it's perfect!
-
Great! Still waiting for mine to ship! I was wondering if the fan only controled the front guns, but I was right and it steers the wheels too! The ship looks a little bit too big in the front, but honestly I don't mind! I love the printed control panels. I think I only have a handful of them from Endor and the Death Star, so two more are always welcome! Barris looks great, I'm sold on the Phase II trooper with dotted-mouth pattern, and if I get that SBD, I'll finally have an even number of them! Two more BD's are always welcome. I have enough to fill the small gray baseplate from the Aqua Raiders base (you know, the bottom one from the connector bridge, I think maybe 20X20 studs? Larger?) and I love army building!

We have our own now, thanks to Rufus: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=37651 I don't think there's much more to discuss about the speeder besides the fact that Lego shop says it's on backorder 'till 2011. About Plo Koon's fighter: Anakin's had a horrible ejection feature, but Ahsoka's had a great duel action missile shooter. Do you think Plo's will be the same as Ahsoka's or a third re-design?

I don't think so. Harry Potter was one of, if not the only licensed theme Lego ever brought/will bring back. Harry Potter is, of course, a huge cash cow, and (good) movies are still to come. I personally saw Spiderman 3 as the worst movie of the year, and you know, let mega have it. The reviews were awful too, and kids just don't like it anymore. Lego can't make any money off of it. Wait... Disney was brought back... but that's different.

Frontpage>Moc Expert badge, coming your way! (I bet.) Welcome to Eurobricks! That's quite a lot of blue tiles you have. I really love the whole thing. The ship's a little weird but the buildings and the windmill especially look great! Really nice port!
-
I was hoping this would be the Executor-Class Star Destroyer, of course, this ship still impresses me! Nice job so far! I love the floors, and the whole build is very impressive. You must have had a lot of patience to do that all on the computer. Once your finished, it'll be time to start racking up and dishing out the mulah.

Welcome back! It's (technically) been a year! Anything starting with 10--- in Lego Star Wars has only ever come out during either March or September. Or at least they come out off season, and they are really big! They are also usually introduced at conventions I'd also lean towards March, because we didn't hear about the Tantive until the summer, but the AT-OT and Dropship just popped out of they toyfair.

Poor Luminara, her Padawan's the one getting all the attention. But really, I think that Lego should have remade the big important Jedi before they made her semi-popular padawan. They have really similar faces, so all they'd really need to do is take the hat from the old Luminara and stick it on Barris. Everyone hated LUL figs and the only Jedi spared was the alternate Mace Windu. Hopefully Luminara will be in a set somehwere this year. Maybe Cad Bane's speeder? It wouldn't make sense, but then again neither does Kit Fisto in an ARC-fighter with Captain Jag.

Thanks! It looks so shiny! EDIT: Sorry. Double post.

MOC: Technic Motorcycle
Darth Legolas replied to Front's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
So, wait you design technic/Bionicle parts but you don't build with them? Or am I totally misinterpreting your title? I'm going to say from the point of view of a not so technical Lego fan that this bike looks great! Of course it could use some "armor" or whatever, but I love the use of the ridgey 1X4 bricks. I need some more of those. Perhaps you could add some springs/shock absorbers in there though? It would be so great if the back wheel could bounce up and down but still be able to resist the strain of the chain, and not pull the chain apart. EDIT: Oh! There is! I feel dumb now. Taking a second look, I saw both of the shock absorbers. You hid them well! -
I'd have to disagree. The prefect shot makes a seen of the speeder approaching from a distance. I think this is very well done, and the blood/ice effects are great! I'd say there's absolutely nothing to change with this MOC. I might say that it would be good to have all of the Hoth Rebels wearing the same uniform, but that would be hypocritical as I have 4 2009 guys and 6 2010.

@Dreamweb- Don't say treasure count. Say treasure measure! For a a guy who's no pirate fan, I think I've got an extra substantial amount of treasure pieces. Scattered everywhere, but I estimate about this- 20-25 Treasure chests, all colors, including Harry Potter trans-pink, gray and gold. 30-50 Gold pieces. Hello! 20-40 Diamonds
