  1. The secondary market is regulated - by the laws of supply and demand. The mark ups reflect what buyers at the margin will pay, and what sellers will settle for to free up working capital. I might wish I could buy a UCS MF for $300, but the truth is that there are other buyers who will pay more than me so they should get priority.
  2. I'm glad you have better access now. You do also have the internet. Amazon is a very good source for new sets such as Batman, Spongebob, Harry Potter etc. Most sets do not really have restricted supply, so your idea that there is a fixed supply and adults are depriving children is not one that I can relate to. I am a parent, I am not a reseller, and I'm very glad that there are resellers. Resellers are providing a service in storage and providing supply when Lego has decided not to for a particular item, and that service should be compensated so that there is an incentive for them to provide it. Would you really prefer a world where there is zero secondary market supply, and you could never buy any Lego past end of line?
  3. Everything is awesome! Love it! Welcome to GoH, we are honoured to have you here
  4. I buy mine from Street markets and honestly, most of the vendors are not even aware that they are made by different companies or brands. If that's how much the vendors know, it's a fair Bet that the customers are generally not educated on the products. All of these are relatively new products and there are still lots of first time suckers for iq and lele.
  5. I hope the re releases mean they have fixed the mask moulding and printing. It really sucked on the previous series, which is a pity. The Decool gold colour is much closer to lego than the SY yellowish gold is, but SY has much better quality moulding and printing accuracy on the masks.
  6. Constraction. Afol. Fabufan. Blacktron Easter egg.
  7. The Petraea General Trading Company is totally fine with this - as long as The Lord Imperator allows us free and unhindered trade with the city.
  8. Yum! Very nice to see a happy scene! Love the cakes
  9. New pizza print! And playing cards with the jester. I'm liking the Hun helmet too. Highlight is still the goth teddy bear though.
  10. Love it. Shapes, colours, angles, techniques. Everything! I can't quite understand the roof geometry, but I do know it's fantastic!
  11. Oho, the plot thickens! Things could get very interesting. ... Love the squidward head, shame it didn't stay on his shoulders. That sand/stone technique looks very good in the first two shots.
  12. Brilliant DM and the Duke very much enjoyed his visits. UoP +1 both claims. I really like the mu Sigma mosaic and the maproom. The building looks great, the design that allows a ship to dock in the middle is superb. It looks amazing connected to the other Mpya Stedor buildings on your flickr stream. Great job!
  13. I have been saying this all along Oh.... Just another deceitful, untrustworthy, big headed double talking Mitgardian beard lady
  14. 42 Bards for sale on eBay after day 1!
  15. This looks a great set, very happy with it. I hope it is a trans yellow canopy on the jet, for the spacers. I like the trans green tail fins too. Lego did a good job of making a new GL figure.
  16. So sweet! Is this going to the anime convention?
  17. Welcome Atlas and Lord Zach, it's great to have you in Kaliphlin! Anyone else think the wookie gunship will be a sweet tan parts pack? I like those big slopes and the stickers!
  18. At least that will be an easy one for the bootleg companies! Yellow on red and red on purple is going to lead to iffy printing on the originals, I would guess. The figure I am most interested in after all the reveals is Rocket.
  19. Absolutely brilliant. How do you stop the rocks from falling out? Are they attached at the back, or is the whole MOC horizontal? Great technique.
