SarahJoy, can I build a trading post in Ruadh please? Just a little one. -

Wow, you're really cranking out a lot of fantastic builds lately. Love the maize, and I very much admire your patience on the droid arm fence. And oh that roof!

Brilliant way to liberate all the dark green for MOCing!

Going through the flickr shots, this really is a master piece. I love what you have done with the doorway, the woodwork, and the roofline of the cottage in particular. The rock work is wonderful too. This is one of the highlights of GoH this year for sure! Amazing work Cesar.

The famous atelier of Ruadh! Nice colour and texture, I really like the roof and the base is nice too. Must be hard to get in and out through that door It's good that you used a neutral grey blind, your photos show visible shadows especially on the interior scene so you might have a think about lighting too. White backgrounds are actually a bit harder for me because I use a lot of white in my builds.

We'll agree to see it differently. I think the $ price absolutely is the right comparison. I would love to buy a Ferrari Dino for its original $14000 price too but I can't because the price had gone up in the secondary market. Should I ask Ferrari to stop making nice cars in case I can't afford them in the secondary market? No one has bought these for $2, it is not a meaningful starting price. It would cost me $3000 to get to SDCC. All I want is the figs and I can get them all for under $3000 with 100% certainty and no queuing via ebay so thank you scalpers. These are supply-limited consumer commodities with very little intrinsic value. Why should a green arrow trade much cheaper than a Matisse or Picasso print, or indeed a handbag?

Another excellent and innovative build Gunman! Beautiful floorplan and composition too, great colours, superb presentation. The roof is outstanding and works really well for the cut away.

Mount up! - The hominacanth (also known as a "scutter")

Brilliant. I love the bases you're coming up with these days Mike. The scutter is a fearsome mount indeed, only for the bravest! -

Way to get back on the map! Sweet roof, I love the daily life details, and I have missed your cheesy walls! How did you do the back wall with what looks like just one plate between the cheeses? -

@Behemoth, I know I'm the one who said you can pretty much do anything,... but there is an odd rule on sigfigs established in book 1. You have to stick with one for the whole "book" unless your sigfig dies At the end of book 1 only myself and Mike in Kali changed our sigfigs I think. The way that most of us get round this is to just tell stories about other affiliated characters instead eg most of my book 1 stories were about Viktor Frankenstein instead of my then sigfig Rasputin Jones. Is anyone else reading Maxim I as "Maximunus"? -
What a cliff hanger! Very sad to see Djun and you leaving us Nightstalker. I have always enjoyed your builds and I hope you will return one day. The lava looks good and the photography is very well composed in the first 2 shots.

I think the SDCC exclusives are great and I would like them to continue. My only concern is that the bootlegs are becoming so good that we need extra authenticity protection for the originals. While the SDCC figs trade at high prices compared to normal figures, they are not priced highly compared to cars, handbags, shoes, watches, paintings, or other limited supply collectables. Remember all the moaning and misery about the SDCC exclusive green lantern figure meaning we would never get a green lantern in a set... And now we are getting a green lantern set. Awesome!

I was just about to suggest exactly the same thing. Maybe a line in the opening paragraph explaining whether the unit writing is fighting for Dugal or Petera. Great story as always, nice to see the Minotaur unit making a contribution.- 318 replies

If all the pictures relate to the same chapter of the story, it is usual to post as one thread. -

@nightstalker Noooooooooooooo! I hope this will prove to be just a cliffhanger or that you can find time to come back with another character. Kai, many congratulations on your graduation! Siedna Ruadh welcome to Kaliphlin, great to have you with us. May Ruadh prosper and flourish. Niro Goldwine a warm welcome to you too. Behemoth, I love your enthusiasm and energy. My tip is to remember that "you control the action ", so you don't really need to ask for permission as long as it's within the overall story and fits the stuff on page 1 of this thread. If you go over the line on anything, the rest of the guild will get you back on track. I'm not building anything or active in comments at the moment, I have to unpack all of our boxes before I can play Lego. Shame, I wanted to join the mount up challenge... Muad'dib!... But I did just visit a PaB wall and the global HQ of games workshop, so I'm stoked with ideas and fun colours. Oh and I got some highly exciting new bricks with my lug! -
Great to see you pushing the boundaries dG! I love the concept and your trees look really good. Nice fence and green hair and excellent presentation as always. I'm confused by the rocks on the roof, I can't quite understand how it fits with the interior. Lovely build.
