Cool, Japan sets. Normally everything here is very expensive and later than other countries. Wish they would bring back the deal with Kabaya. Looks like there's a preview at Midtown, I'll check it out tomorrow.

Loving the Stingray man and especially Cthulu, hope there are more Atlanteans to come in the second wave. Some very nice new pieces, particularly the shields and diving suit. The minifigs look odd with no hair. I hope we get a classical temple. It would have been nice to have some small building modules that could combine to make a bigger ruins scene. When I think of Atlantis I am thinking mainly cool ruins, not underwater SP, ther is so much untapped potential. It's pretty creative that some of the vehicles are based on odd-number widths. I'm open minded on the vehicles, especially if they have some nice functions like PM, but can't get excited about the creatures. The big squid and crab (and shark? here is a link to the shark http://www.flickr.com/photos/9824337@N06/3...in/photostream/ ) are too much like aqua raiders - but hurray for the big scary porcuturtle. It's lovely how the humans and Atlanteans just get along together...

Thanks to TLC for asking us. I would be interested in what are the good sellers now. It would be great if they could use old moulds for PAB parts and have non-production pieces available only on PAB, which would make PAB a real alternative to bricklink. I guess PAB is a warehouse full of small-lot production runs, so they could experiment with batch production of a few high-demand old pieces like classic space parts and see how they sell. I guess this is a commercial decision ultimately - my observation is that the really high brick-count MOCs tend to be castle or space themed, so commercially I would look to please the builders who would buy in bulk and give the big revenue sources. for me, I would love to see- Fleshie heads and hands more roof slopes in different colours. 2x2x3 inside corner bricks -I wish more doors and windows/cockpits - please trans yellow cockpits! some specialist pieces from current ranges - barbed wire, laptop, telescope more arches more plants For colours, more brown, silver, old grey, sand green, dark green, dark blue If there is some physical limit on the number of stock items they carry, I would recommend to cut back on primary colour bricks and plates as they are quite easily available.
