  1. Will be interesting to see if it passes review. Personally I would guess no.
  2. The Joker set looks cool, three new figs (didn't skimp on the printing either) and some new gold pieces. Robin & the Kabuki Twins are nice too, Man-Bat repeat is a bit disappointing though, would be better with a new fig. Is the tool belt new?
  3. Happy they made such forgettable figures for SDCC this year, I'll loose no sleep over missing out on these.
  4. That foot/snout piece is very intriguing, is it new or has it been in any of the other 2016 sets?
  5. Nice fig & some good parts in flesh!
  6. Can't help but feel this is just another gimmicky line which is going to steal focus away from the regular sets. It's not that I think they are awful or badly done, it's just not what I would like to see in a LEGO set. I want some decent builds with a good range of minifigures. A bit disappointing to see them go in this direction after some really great sets this year (Bridge battle, Airport battle to mention a few).
  7. Thank you for all your kind comments!
  8. This set looks great! Now I just need to go update my shopping list...
  9. You won't find the gingerbread man (or any CMF figures for that matter) on Bricks & Pieces. Try Bricklink.
  10. Thank you guys! I just posted another one, so no respite for those hating steampunk stuff...
  11. Here is another one, Major Thompson's Cigar! High resolution picture on Flickr
  12. With the current pricing trend I shudder to think how expensive a Yoda's hut set with an X-Wing would be... I'd prefer a small set.
  13. Struggled with the wheels on this one... I'm not much of a car builder and had a hard time finding wheels that weren't too wide. Ended up using the new wheelchair wheels from Fun in the park. Full size on Flickr
  14. Assult on Hoth was supposed to be out October 2015 and finally arrived at the end of April in 2016. Slave 1 was expected to be a fall release in 2014, and we ended up getting pictures in October and a release in January 2015 (iirc). So yeah, it could be months before we see pictures. Maybe we will get them sooner, maybe not.
  15. Some prices are better, some are worse. I use quite a bit because the shipping costs are so low. It is a bit clunky as you say, two things I think would have helped a lot: 1) Save the cart contents instead of letting it time out 2) Allow search for a new part/set directly from the search result instead of having to go back all the time
  16. After visiting a bunch of stores in Germany (Bremen/Flensburg) I finally came across a store that had some left (much to my surprise!). I was able to buy the last full box they had, but unfortunately they were marked up to 5 EURO per fig so a bit on the expensive side.
  17. Thanks for the review! Will definitely get this set, mostly for the figs.
  18. Take a look at the contents of 76057 vs 75150 and you will see that it is not just taxes or import tariffs, or a matter of small vs large parts.
  19. In Norway the Vader/A-Wing set is the same price as the Marvel Bridge set, which is just crazy... This is definitely not just variations between countries. Either the SW license costs are going through the roof, or LEGO has gone completely bonkers with the SW pricing. Right now I'm sad to say that SW LEGO is broken for me. Super expensive sets that at most contains a couple of minifigs that are of interest to an old (mainly OT) fart like me. Luckily I can still get my LEGO fix from other themes.
  20. Love it! This will probably be one of the LEGO 2016 highlights for me.
  21. The first build for a new faction! Full size on Flickr Struggled finding a decent angle to shoot this moc, couldn't quite capture the overall shape of the model in a single photo. Oh well, this will have to do for now...
  22. Thank you! The axle is a 3L piece of rigid hose, think it was from a Baxter's robot rampage. I would have used a regular 3L bar, but didn't have any left.
  23. I find it very strange to blame LEGO for lack of innovation in Ideas sets...
