I would have prefer a Cloud City outfit for Lando (and the torso color is a bit bright), but overall that is a good minifig selection. Pilot & ground crew are both excellent. Pretty rare to find a set where I want all the minifigs these days!

Thanks for your comments guys, glad you like it!

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors

Walked past the Tie Advanced set today at TRU in Norway with a 40% discount (which translates to about 72 Euro after discount). Still not interested. -

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
LegoFjotten replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think that's the way it usually goes, new parts (or existing parts in new colors) are reserved for LEGOs own use for a while. -

The face with the moustache is awesome! -
Thanks for the review! Not a fan of the sets, but the minifigs are ok. I suspect the StarScavenger is the result of a mission impossible for the set designer; recreate a large ship with a way too low budget. The result is unsatisfactory on all levels.

Killer Clown Ambush Love is in the air... but Lisa and Nelson are about to get their date interrupted by a killer clown! Almost forgot this one! Managed to sneak in a quick build during my lunch break (the joys of working from my home office!)

I dislike those happy/scared faces too, one of the expression should be more neutral. I think the issue with reusing prints has less to do with the cost of printing and more to do with storage limitations. Basically the storage system is full. If they want an element in a new color or with a different print they need to remove another element to make room for it.

The UCS Hype. What will 2017 bring? (40th Anniversary)
LegoFjotten replied to Major_Ton's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Regardless of how previous sets sold, anyone think a new MF would not sell well? I think it would do fine... The reason I sold my 10179 was that it was too big for me to display anywhere, so a smaller one would be ok for me. A re-issue of the 10179 like the Death Star with just small tweaks to adjust for out of production parts would be fine too. Even with a $700-800 price tag it would still be cheaper than the used one I had... -
Dual Molded Legs / Arms list?

Yes, the Mission Impossible Dimensions pack has black sleeves / flesh tone arms. Edit: The Superboy minifig has them too. -

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
LegoFjotten replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I was at the Q&A session with Jamie Berard & Jan Beyer during the Skærbæk Fan Weekend 2016 (less than a month ago) and I'm not worried at all that we will see the end of the modular line anytime soon. I was left believing they have ideas for at least 5 years of modulars, and that the modulars are stronger than ever in terms of sales. -
Thank you for the review! I built mine today, and I really enjoyed both the build itself and the finished model. The original submission was a bit better looking, but it's no surprise some adjustments had to be made to turn it into an official set. Even if I'm not a car person at all, I find this set much more interesting than a lot of the upcoming LEGO Ideas sets like Adventure Time, Apollo 11 or even The Beatles set.

If the list is correct, OT Battle packs would be awesome, Guavian death gang too! Wouldn't mind the Quadjumper either, just afraid it would be a repeat-fest when it comes to minifigs.

21306: The Beatles Yellow Submarine (LEGO Ideas)
LegoFjotten replied to Blondie-Wan's topic in LEGO Licensed
Good to see the official pictures, I like the figs a bit more now. Might pick this up at some point. -
That is why I think it makes more sense for TLG to do something from the OT. Many OT fans would not touch anything PT, while there are plenty of PT fans who enjoy stuff from both the PT and OT. And I do agree with Flandy, none of the PT ships/vehicles qualify as iconic in my book. I will be disappointed if get something from the PT (or anything motorized for that matter).

Force Friday (30th September) promotions
LegoFjotten replied to Richpepperell's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Nope. Most of the time the first order had probably shipped before I even placed the second one though. That won't work for short lived promos though. -

It usually says that, but it has never been enforced on my orders. Might have changed with the new shop though. -

It would be nice to get official confirmation, but 5 FO stormies did sound too good to be true... Most likely no Force Friday shopping for me then.
