Well, Jestro's gotta get out of the picture at some time, and these seem like good candidates for the "villain-of-the-year" spot, especially since one is named. Also, wishful thinking. Because we want them, we're talking about them.

Yeah, I don't think any of the DPs need the Queen's dress. It's just not the right shape.- 4,155 replies

Minifigures Series 16 Guessing Game
8BrickMario replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
*information removed* As for what I want: * Inventor (Ben Franklin)- reuse Shakespeare's hair, come with a key and a kite. * Banana Suit Guy: It's bound to happen * Monster Bride: Echoing previous guesses, I've wanted this one since Series 4. * Teacher: Female, modern design, w/apple and ruler * Chef * Maid: French-style with frilled apron and cap * Fairytale Prince: Sand Green, with crown and sword, made to match S12 Princess. (Green because the Prince and Princess's colors would be a product of the King and Queen's mixed together) * Devil: This is another hint that's been dropped. I expect a reuse of the Gargoyle's wings, a new tail, and a new hair piece * Angel: If we get one, the classic cherub has to go with it. New feathered wings like Gargoyle's, lyre. * Steampunk Villain: Cyborg character, and evil because I like bad guys. * Evil Genie/Djinn: Not giving up on this one. * Sleepy Girl: Stuffed sheep, short legs, pink striped pajamas * Sorceress: Villainous, with purple robes and staff. * Evil Clown: Why not? It would be nice to see what LEGO would do with the concept. * Gentleman: Victorian-style with more realistic top hat mold, cane. I'm out of ideas. -
There are three different Scurriers. The two in Fortrex and the one in Clay's Rumble Blade. I'd expect some minor plant minions for the Mushlord arc.

Not all golden weapons are the Golden Weapons. It's just a cool color for them. Why not have weapons made of gold? -
Probably a couple of filler mushrooms, and the flytrap. A tree character (either built or bigfig) would be great. I'm sure they'll find enough plant/fungus designs to use for a wave or two.

Hey, they already have the hair for her! But I don't think it'll happen, since the color matches Cinderella, but the shape doesn't. It must be a non-Disney use.- 4,155 replies

Well, who else would use that dress in light blue? It's either a generic fancy lady or Cinderella. The latter's dress doesn't really match, so it's got to be someone else. And where is this info coming from? -
Can we? Also, the evil faction that hopefully debuts in 2017 is not just mushroom people, but plant people in general, and I can't wait to see who else is included. Also, I'd love to put Mushlord's head on the ground in an evil forest MOC.

Do tell. The only one I can think of would be Cinderella. -
Yes. A playground is not a fairground attraction, just something found in a typical city park.

I'm just hoping. Again, there are some details that suggest a "physical-design" stage of development more than early concept work, like the head stud and the edge of the mushroom cap. While the pommel of the sword might be a bit too much detail, it might just be an artist's interpretation. While I'm already in love with what they've done for the lava baddies, these twisted plant villains seem even more exciting!
-
Mushlord's sword could easily be made of rubber. And the headpiece is totally feasible. You can see where the head ends and the piece begins, like the Monster's head extension or the Grandpa's hair. For the plant lady, I imagine the headpiece would be more involved, but they do show it working like Darth Maul's. Her legs would be the ghost piece in new colors. Both of them have "physical piece" details that probably wouldn't be there on early concept work. I think they're entirely possible, and don't seem like throwaway designs. Here's hoping!

Holy....those are SO COOL! I want the evil mushroom dude and the rafflesia lady! Please let them be the post-Jestro baddies and not just rejected concept art! Also, this confirms that Flama and Whiparella both have the snake tail, not a dress and a tail. Also, with the plant lady- another technically-naked female baddie! Someone at LEGO's being very subversive...

The curved brick is probably out of production, and it's a bit too large and blocky looking. Also, the new piece has leg pins to keep it attached when lifting the Queen off a base. This is also why most of the piece is hollow with the strongest point of connection being in the middle. There are a few other noblewomen and princesses they could use the dress for (it's been seen in a royal outfit for Macy in Nexo Knights) and they'll definitely get some use out of it. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion
8BrickMario replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I never judge a series as a whole. If it has an excellent minifigure or two, it's still a great series for giving me a fantastic fig. While S10 might have had the fewest characters I really liked, I think Medusa was enough to make it a "good" series for me, and I still bought several of them. Same with S15, which will rob me of a good deal of money despite not being very exciting initially. Each series is an assortment (even under a theme), so nobody's going to agree. So don't impose your opinions, but stating them is fine. -

Maggie's body is also totally inaccurate for Jack-Jack in any of his appearances, as he's never in a onesie. But Elastigirl using the Friends hair and Mr. Incredible with the Bill Murray hair could work. Dash could use Dooku's hair, and Frozone would be easy. Edna could very well use the Egyptian Queen hair. I think Violet and Syndrome would be the only ones that could use new hair pieces. I am such a Pixar nerd...- 4,155 replies

How did you already see summer prelims? Were you supposed to? Also, volcano castle (with Flama!) sounds excellent, but the name Magmar only makes me think of Pokemon.

HOW is there already summer news? LEGO's really got no security.

Maleficent is from Sleeping Beauty. But I see your point. I think more people would like to have them at the same time, though, instead of having to wait a few months to be able to play with both characters.- 4,155 replies

Thank you for the excellent pictures. Now I'm excited for all of them. I'm especially impressed by the Satyr and Queen for their new lower-body parts (even though the Satyr can't sit), and I like the Scary Knight now that I know his face looks a little inhuman. I do wish the Pearl Gold matched on the Winged Warrior, by painting the hair instead of the helmet. He'd be great for making the god Hermes, though! -

I think many characters will have molded heads. But several of them won't need them. The problem is whether or not the latter will have them anyway to fit in with those who do, or if the'll just have special headgear instead of a molded head.- 4,155 replies
