These sets look great! I like Jestro's other face, and the Fortrex. And the lovely books... It's very cool that the new techno-panels have disc-shooting slots! The Chariot does indeed have a mechanism! I really like the hardened-lava shield used for the bad guys! There's so much good stuff in this theme!

I don't think this theme will continue. We've heard that they have no plans to keep it going.

I don't like Kai's scar. I never have. His old face always made him look like an ugly villain, not a brave hero. -

In this series, "Concierge" seems to be "Janitor", due to the mop piece. It might also be a hotel maid/housekeeper, though. I prefer the Satyr's new piece to the alternative, because the forehead of the Gargoyle piece would look very out-of-place and the lack of textured hair would look bad, too. Also, I sort of like that the Gargoyle has a unique piece. I don't get why the animal suit figures are so popular. Sure, they're cute novelties, but you can't really do much with them. I like this theme for the fantasy, horror, and sci-fi figures. -

But it wasn't part of the "Minifigures" label. If the set's really being referred to as "Minifigures", then it doesn't sound like it'll be from the Disney series.- 4,155 replies

I'd expect an MU textbook using the new molds, rather than create a new one for his teddy bear.- 4,155 replies

If it's called "Minifigures D2C", then I doubt it's Disney-related. This will be Disney's first series, so it seems that it'd be based on the assorted series before.- 4,155 replies

I think Mike's limbs are too skinny to work so well for a minifigure. He'd seem a bit chubby as a minifig. I don't expect him to be in this series, anyway.- 4,155 replies

It doesn't have to have a higher rating to be universally popular. Scooby-Doo sold out within its first three days of release. It's calmed down a bit now, because there's a supply. Scooby-Doo has the disadvantage of the only iconic features being the characters and Mystery Machine, which leaves the sets a bit generic in comparison due to the models themselves lacking that recognizable factor. -

I much prefer this one. While it may look good on the outside, the opening method on the proposal leaves the inside far too cluttered and nearly inaccessible. The official one provides plenty of room and space, and makes the building interior feel properly large when opened up. If people are really condemning this set for one wall and the bonus feature of fitting the Ecto requiring a bit of removed furniture, then I feel sorry for you. LEGO is designed to be changed and improved. If some fixable flaws are preventing you from buying a set...at least you're saving money. -
Jabba's Palace was discontinued right on schedule. LEGO just made it seem like an early discontinuation to please the offended party. So, they did not pull it early at all. Anyway, I think it's sorta cool how these creatures are borderline demonic. While I wouldn't appreciate a controversy, I like that LEGO's pushing it with this theme.

The Banshee's also fairly popular, according to my LEGO store employee. Her unique pieces and distribution seem to be the reasons. -
The mirror's as much an element as the stickers are, though. It's not a molded ABS piece, it's just dipped carboard.

I really doubt that the Clumsy Guy will have bent arms. The mold itself seems far from useful, and it would just feel strange to suddenly alter the classic arm for the crutch piece. It's likely that the image is just artistic license. Jestro's hat wasn't pointed upward... -

Mind you, the baby will have a printed face, so the print would have to be removed before use as a toe. -
Since the pic doesn't work, a quick explanation for any who don't get it. When Marty goes to the past while wearing a radiation suit, he intimidates his future father under the pretense of an alien invader and calls himself Darth Vader.

The baby's alright, but it'll look better on the back than in the hands. That mop will be great for witches. Why wasn't it in the last series? The skunk is nice, too. -

While the back wall is a problem, modifying it would be such a large undertaking that I'll just leave it. I don't see why they didn't make it so it could be extended one stud to cover the back. That line of tiles behind the building doesn't really do anything for it. -
I like my evil sorceresses, so Maleficent, Ursula, and the Old Hag form of the Evil Queen would make me very happy indeed. I'd also love Ariel, just to have a very cheap way to get that hairpiece. Jack Skellington and Sally would also be incredibly amazing.

I don't understand why people expect the prelims to be prone to serious changes. Every year it's the same hope, yet the only changes are part colors and minor changes. -

This design was produced independently of Sergio's. Both are based on the same building, so the resemblances are going to be a result of the source material. There are noticeable differences in the details and the interiors, so I don't believe this design was ripping Sergio off. It's likely that the development began as soon as the Ecto-1 was finalized. -

It'll be a long while before there is a final wave. This is an evergreen theme. I just hope that that doesn't gradually weaken it.
