  1. I sort of love these. The cheesy anime-style expressions are hilarious and work well for the chibi style of the sets. Remember, these are not part of the main sets, and you don't have to buy them. Also, Spidey's face is great as it can be used for a skeptical face on the full-size figure.
  2. Wow, that looks really cool!
  3. Whoa, she's new! I like it. Silver goggles, full mask, and a new belt! I get that these figs are probably going for a cheesier/cartoonish aesthetic, but I sort of like that.
  4. They're not to be released officially this month. They're supposed to be the first series of 2016 and released in January, though it's certain that a few retailers will have them out early, anyway.
  5. Satyrs became retroactively associated with the Roman faun, which is a goat-legged humanoid. These days, the two are one and the same. Regardless, mythological accuracy is already an oxymoron. The stories weren't true, and there was nothing stopping people from changing them around.
  6. DC movies try too hard to be dark and edgy, and I much prefer the comics. Now Suicide Squad may be worth watching.
  7. Seeing that the new film is taking even less from the source material than the first, don't count on it. Since these are technically sequels to the original, they're rather different, and the chess motifs aren't really there.
  8. I've seen plenty of leftover S13 figs, but not separated and with different prices.
  9. So Flama is tied to that book! I like the way the mouths open and close.
  10. Then why are your sources willing to share information when it can't be public yet? What a tease.
  11. I like the kryptonite canisters, and the Batmobile looks great. I think I'll get this one, despite a lack of interest for the movie.
  12. It's extremely likely. Just look up "banana suit" and click the image results. That costume's even more popular than a hot dog suit.
  13. Nobody was complaining about Medusa, even though, originally, she would have had boar's tusks, brass wings, and regular legs. It's just expected these days for her to be "half-woman, half-snake" instead of "all-monster, part-snake".
  14. Yeah, the only Batcave in the near future is the 1966 one.
  15. You're not missing anything. It's Flama.
  16. Agreed. I don't see what's wrong with knowing a couple of S16 figures (I'm pretty sure I know one, too, but can't share) a bit early, since every other theme has gotten news.
  17. Classically, he was a normal man with the head of a bull, but these days, he's more bullish in the rest of his body. Anyway, the hooves technically aren't accurate, but they're just an extension of the real legs, which also have them.
  18. I think making the females harder to find indicates a greater desirability in their eyes. Figures like Medusa and the Battle Goddess or the Spooky Girl were bound to be popular, so why not make them rarer? While Playmobil's system works to an extent, it might be too much for LEGO to do, especially since female figs are the minority elsewhere.
  19. I'm the freakin' conductor! But yeah. if these are real, LEGO gets all of my money...again.
  20. Again, just because the parts are real, doesn't mean the prints are. They could very well be using real pieces. The quality of the designs is so poor compared to their current standard that I'd be very surprised if they were real.
  21. That's good too hear. Something more like Ninjago, but with a less complicated storyline! Also, Ultimate Ava would be great! What's Jestro's official accent? Some stuff has him Scottish, but others make him American. Also, I'm now waiting for the 2017 news. Forget the summer wave, I want to know if the sticker book was showing us anything real! The biggest piece of evidence against Mushlord and Rafflesia-head is why reveal them in a sticker book? While they're excellent designs that I'd love to own, it seems more likely that they'd just use filler characters. I hate logic, because they're some of the best-looking designs I've seen in a while.
  22. The other thing that's good about it: Mushroom people are typically innocent fairy-tale creatures. So a twisted version is both incredibly cool, and entirely appropriate for a fantasy kingdom.
  23. Nothing, because they're most likely widespread fakes. It's been talked to death, but suffice it to say that most think they're not real.
  24. Calling it now: The goofy minion creatures for the plant/fungus wave will be called Sporons.
  25. In that case, Cinderella's hair will also be Dark Tan. It's probably going to go for "recognizable". So DP-brand dress without some of the frills.
