  1. What a relief. Of course, I would still like the emotions, but I think a list of eighteen figures I want rather than only five would be better. What I don't get is why they thought that sounded convincing. Perhaps leaving Tarzan and Jane would have led to less skepticism.
  2. ...Darn it, I want them all. I like the Scary Knight's face (so he's not completely human after all!) and the Satyr's legs turned out nicely, even though he's a non-sitting figure. Even the figures I didn't like (Astronaut, Animal Control) have more appeal to me now. I love the AC's other face. The Laser Mech looks great, too. And the Queen...I could go on for hours. Count me in.
  3. It's orange on a pearl silver head.
  4. I think Vanellope could be in a future series, but Ralph would need to be a bigfig and Calhoun and Felix might be considered less popular. More people would be likely to buy a Baymax figure than Hiro, but again, the size is an issue.
  5. Fixed it for you. But seriously, I get that some people may not like it, but its massive success and recognizable characters make them very good contenders for a series. If this list is real, they'd save the series for me. If it's fake, who knows, the real series may still bring some Joy to the collectors.
  6. The emotions would likely come with translucent Technic ball joints to represent memory orbs. Jafar would have his cobra staff (S2 Pharaoh recolor?) and Iago the parrot.
  7. I think the biggest red flags here are the lack of Goofy and the inclusion of B-list characters Tarzan and Jane. I'd expect to see some more classic villains and princesses before Tarzan and Jane. Heck, The Jungle Book probably would come before them.
  8. WhiteFang's review probably won't be up until LEGO releases official info. The pics we've seen aren't part of an official reveal, so we have to wait a bit.
  9. I saw them when the cache leaked the pics. But LEGO hasn't officially shown off the two series in full, so I'm surprised that there's apparently Series 9 info out there.
  10. Tarzan and Jane don't seem nearly popular enough to make the first series, but I would buy the emotions in a heartbeat. A bit disappointed in the lack of female villains (if this is real). I would have liked Maleficent or the Old Hag before Jafar and Hook. Overall, not too excited by the list. It doesn't have enough characters I like, and even though I love Inside Out, I don't know if the emotions really deserve five spots in the series. I hope this isn't real. Half of the characters don't merit a first-series appearance, and several more popular characters are being overlooked. I mean, Jane before Goofy or Snow White? And why is Mulan the only Princess in the group? Nope, not trusting this.
  11. True, but Series 7 and 8 haven't been officially announced yet. What do we know about 9?
  12. And she got the nickname Madame Deficit for spending most of the country's money on her jewelry...why do we want her again? Anyway, I doubt we'll get an official M.A., just a lookalike from the French or English court, with a tall wig and large dress.
  13. I imagine it's not laziness, but for uniformity. Encyclopedias are supposed to look like they go together, so the similar covers makes the LEGO ones look good as a collection.
  14. I sorta like the ambiguity they're giving us with the costumes, by allowing them to be real predators or just a silly outfit.
  15. Are you saying there are already rumors for Series 9?
  16. It's been confirmed that it is Batman- Buccaneer Batman to be precise.
  17. A halberd is a medieval weapon. Yes, the Nexo Knights armor has a hole in the chest, and all of the minifigures who use it have unique insignias that show through.
  18. The mini-Fortrex review is now up!
  19. Not to mention, any "builds" in the sets are incredibly simple, with the maximum usually being three pieces. That dress would be too complicated, and waste space on the pamphlet inside. One new figure part is much easier and much more useful.
  20. But they won't do minifigures in that theme. It's confusing, because the accessories and characters make more sense in sets, but Beast would be cool as a minifigure. Since LEGO's on;y focusing on the princesses, I think we're more likely to see Beast here but no Belle.
  21. Armored Bats actually looks pretty good. I also like the Batmobile's opening mechanism. A lot.
  22. There are some alligators and the old-style dragon, although the former doesn't match in color.
  23. I feel that Belle would be made without the teapot. Sure, it'd be nice to have Mrs. Potts, but that seems more likely to happen in the sets, like Flounder and Sebastian and the bear triplets.
  24. I'm guessing the tail will be represented by back printing. Besides, a tail would require a third new mold for the figure, which is too much for just one figure.
