  1. I think you mean Minotaur ( ), and yes, it is very similar, as it isn't quite a "sandwich board" piece covering the torso, but it covers some of it, and, because of that, cannot rotate his head. Ah, well.
  2. Cross your fingers! It will very likely be picked over...
  3. I beg to differ. Trans-neon green parts will glow nicely in the sunlight. Just put one on the windowsill, and the part will look radioactive.
  4. I think we both learned our lessons. Let's forget it ever happened, shall we?
  5. It's actually regular old light tan (or Brick Yellow), not dark tan or olive like the Toy Fair pics made it look. And the digital render makes it look pinkish.
  6. It says right in the Character Encyclopedia that the renders are produced as 3D models and then the Minifigures are made. Before that I had wondered what the explanation was for the face prints being ever so slightly different from the pamphlet pictures.
  7. It's brown, though. Or at least to me.
  8. True, but the fact that they didn't change the render for the pamphlets (which they did for the Character Encyclopedia) makes it seem a little lazy and disappointing. The PotC gold was confusing. I got chrome in mine, because I got the Isla de la Muerta later on.
  9. The only reason I knew it was Photoshopped is that I recognized Red's pose from the S@H page!
  10. The fawn is indeed terrible. The tree is cute, but the fawn... The Puppy's Playground seems most valuable for pieces and animal. Parrot's Perch is all right.
  11. I know what you mean. 2013 is a year where everything you want comes out, but you have to choose carefully!
  12. I just remembered something that actually was misleading. Because the CMF renders are made before the minifigures are, sometimes things are different due to a production circumstance. The Hula Dancer was a great example. Apparently, her grass skirt piece was intended to have separated strips. Something happened, and it was made into a zigzag border at the bottom. Because the final product differs from time to time from the model render, things like this happen.
  13. Well, 5 per series is the trend they have, but it may be a while before the female count per series rises.
  14. Well, everyone is different. I like opions, but I can understand why others don't. News is a factor that keeps people on a thread, but it isn't likely to pop up soon here. We're hoping, though. I will try to respond to multiple posts at once. I've done so before, and I'll try to more often. Thank you,
  15. If you're talking about me, I apologize for seeming that way to you. I am passionate about the subject, and I like to respond to comments that are asking something or raising an interesting point. If I seem like I'm taking charge, I certainly didn't mean to, but I have things to say, and I'm not trying to "rack up points". I am upset that someone would feel this way about me, as my intentions are to enjoy the discussion and contribute to it, not to seem like a narcissistic boss of the discussion. I know others that give off the feeling to me, but I am not trying to be this way. I am sorry, (if it's about me), but unhappy that I came off this way.
  16. Well, Dark Olive isn't an official color name, so I wouldn't know what you were talking about. Is it a tan color or a brown? If the Yeti has a counterpart, it'll definitely be Bigfoot/Sasquatch. That would be awesome. And to TheLegoDr, I don't think a candy cane would pass as well for a Riddler cane than the stupid crowbar. Neither are quite accurate, so we need a real mold for it. In brown, which it may come in for the Grandma, it could be a regular senior's cane. Crossing my fingers....
  17. ^Unless it was rubber. But it is one piece, head and fur, and his brow makes him look like he's in a bad mood and someone not to cross, so he really wouldn't need two faces.
  18. No new leg elements have been introduced exclusively for the theme, but I wish they were. So far, we have the....mermaid tail, slope brick, and snake tail. I agree, we need more lower half alternatives.
  19. Witches are commonly green, it's not specific to Oz. Can we get back to Series 11, please?
  20. I like the HBC actor reference! Do you wish you had the actual minifig? The Lois/Widow one is regrettably true, but funny! Unless there's a Wonder Woman movie, no new outfit for her. All of these are great!
  21. Look two posts above yours.
  22. I didn't take the time to look it up on Bricklink. I didn't ever see it in another color than trans-neon green, so I assumed it was the only color.
  23. I guess you're right, but I wouldn't really like Oz-type minifigs, as they aren't classic fairy tale elements, or that interesting to me.
  24. Yeah, nothing new except for the counterparts image. I was hoping for more minifigs revealed! I'm sorry to say, but everyone has noticed that! That would require a license. It'll most likely be a more generic autumn scarecrow. No, but it's very rare. It most recently appeared in the Town Hall, in its previously only color, trans-flourescent yellow. First time in trans-blue, though. I'm starting to like the Female Scientist more. Her trans-neon green bottle looks just as poisonous as the trans-flourescent green one first seen with the Crazy Scientist. I like the blue one, too, both look dangerous and great to use in a creepy laboratory scene. I don't know why a few people say she's a counterpart to the Crazy Scientist. because she seems perfectly sane. She's just a different type of scientist. I am guessing her valued accessories will increase her rarity, though. I like the Gingerbread Man, but the message on his cup makes it seem a little dark if you think about it. I'll give him the candy cane if the Elf has one.
