  1. Is eager during SDCC week!

  2. Oh, no I call them "shines" but most everyone else calls them pupils, so I did to be more clear. I honestly don't know why...
  3. Or better yet, not a cream pie, but a modified "woven strips" pie.
  4. Oh, I certainly hope not! I would be upset is they missed the chance to give him a suit this time around, too. We need close-ups soon!
  5. Bet people are hoping for a Thor set in the Marvel line-up!
  6. Better than a modern redesign. White pupils, at best.
  7. And Lucies! I hae high hopes for the CMFs. Everyone seems to want Abe Lincoln (would be even better with Woody's taller legs!) Panda Johnny Thunder Mermaid I have to agree that these would be great. Hopefully Emmett, Lucy, and Virtruvius are not in the group, that's what the sets are for!
  8. Well, they ARE minifigures...maybe an ABC lollipop was all Virtruvius could find! But if they can make a staff for him, there's no excuse for the lack of a proper Gandalf staff or Riddler cane.
  9. Virtruvius, some sort of weird sage guy. But yeah, he'll be a really interesting minifgure. When I saw the trailer, I was just thinking, "Wouldn't that be a cool set/minifig?" And now look!
  10. Two waves and 16 Collectable Minifigures...wow. LEGO is really plugging this film for all it's worth. I hope that with this and Ninjago's return, this means less Chima next year.
  11. I'm looking forward to a minifigure of the old bearded mentor guy (don't know his name), and the movie-based sets really look 2014, they just look that much more advanced.
  12. Oh, so Lucy is the lead female. Thanks, I never knew her name! I wish there were more pics. Those will come soon, I'm sure.
  13. I didn't think it would have a second wave. but how long will it run?
  14. I just noticed. Thanks. I wonder what will happen with LR when some LEGO Movie sets will have to do with a Western theme? Will it be Castle/LotR again?
  15. The Mermaid will definitely be mine if it's a CMF. Will this replace a series next year or will be have four series next year? Emmett looks a little too cartoony, but the female's hair is really cool. I'm not altogether too interested in the shown set, but 16 more sets to choose from! That's about two waves, and I hope it will be. What with the DC Super Heroes possibilities and this line's possibilities, 2014 will reel me into The Pit of No Money Ever.
  16. The SDCC figs for DC are Black Suited Superman and Green Arrow:http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/2013/07/12/lego-superhero-comic-con-minifigures/2513603/
  17. Perhaps a topic for it will be warranted after SDCC: 2014 LEGO Movie Sets, anyone?
  18. I agree. Remove the Riddler's dragster and it would be a suitable $20 set.
  19. I know. I was referring to a comics/not Nolan trilogy Gordon. I knew that would get misconstrued! Sorry!
  20. I don't want Nightwing for the character, but for the ensemble. He (along with Batgirl and Alfred) needs to get an update, since he's popular, and one of the good guys. (and usually villains interest me more, so when I was young I didn't fall into the "kids want heroes" category!) And I swear, if we get GORDON before any of those three, I'll be a little...miffed, to say the least!
  21. The reason I got all of the DC Super Heroes sets (excluding the TDKR set, movie variations don't interest me) was the villains. They are/were extremely well designed, colorful, and fun, and the Riddler's definitely got an improvement. I can't wait to see a closeup of him, and he has a new face as well. Sorry, muscular Riddler, but the suited green-hatted version is much better. And I cannot express more how much he needs a proper cane... I can't wait to see the other villains and sets (and if Nightwing, Alfred, and Barbara Batgirl are in it, those are must-haves, too). I just know when I see the new stuff from the SDCC unveilings, all of the current sets will be meaningless to me. And that render still bothers me due to E. Nygma's messed-up arm. It's discolored and in an impossible position...this topic, anyone? I apologize for sounding like I belong in Arkham over this, but I'm excited. The possibilities! EDIT:Hmm...The Flash's mask seems odd to me, maybe because I'm so used to seeing the custom and video game mask with closed bottom.
  22. Oh, I forgot how badly we needed a new Nightwing (with either Snape or the CMF S1 Skater's hair, of course) and Batgirl (Barbara, preferably, with a new mask/hair piece)! Yes, if we see those two Bat-family members (and Alfred, too, almost forgot him), 2014 will be the year of DC Super Heroes.
  23. A render that is a step away from LDD is bound to be less interesting. You can't see anything behind Riddler clearly, anyway. I am really really hoping that he comes with a proper cane mold, and, no, LEGO, a gold crowbar won't cut it. I definitely like what little of the new Riddler I can see better than muscular greyhat.
  24. We'll get physical set photos at SDCC. This one is just to tide us over.
  25. Just noticed the metallic gold, not yellow wheels. I wonder if it's going to shift slowly out of the comics...The only thing they needed was to give Riddler a proper cane. Maybe we'll see one? And I don't want to know why Riddler is holding a banana and his arm is so weird. EDIT: If they're going back to the shows, that would be really interesting. But I don't want third versions of all the villains yet. Mad Hatter, Killer Croc (redesign, of course), and Clayface or Killer Moth first...I hope LEGO is doing some new villains next year.
