  1. The "cat lover" aspect of the Grandma really is accurate, since it reminds me so much of my grandma. And it's funny that the cat (and the previous cat, too, I guess) is one of few LEGO animals not to have a stud on it anywhere. (And I'm talking System-scale animals, not Friends.) And just watch someone prove me wrong five times over!
  2. Nice eye. Those legs do look odd...
  3. I just wanted to ask why you just reposted that. No harm done, but we got a perfectly good link!
  4. I don't know why LEGO placed the Lady Robot and Gingerbread Man's heads in the "put on top of the minifigure head" category instead of "put on neck" category, either. And the Dastan hair is pretty common now. It appears on all of these minifigs.
  5. Hmm, don't know. Checked the Polish website and these weren't up. By the way, Aanchir, the rollerskates do have antistuds. One of the best things about them. And I am really glad they made a not-pouncing minifigure scale cat, since the Friends one just doesn't look good for regular figs. It's too big (and too big-headed), as well. And the friendly purring face on the piece is great. The LEGO animals are just so cute.
  6. It's the first transparent minifig arm. There. I hope it's settled!
  7. Emmett also has some comb lines in the front. Lucy isn't too bad, she's just punk.
  8. I just noticed that we get some new Light Aqua pants with the Grandma. It's great to see the barrage of opinions here. Nice to see the varied opinions, and to see how some like the one that others don't. I know it's been said before, but the CMF theme has something for everyone. The apron/fanny pack's position doesn't help the appearance at all. I don't know what LEGO was thinking.
  9. If you cannot find it at all, they must have removed it. It may still be out there, though.
  10. The Grandma has a recolored version of the Hollywood Starlet's hair. I just had to point that out. And the Bavarian Lady does have a new hairpiece which most likely has two braids.
  11. Nice reference and very true at that. Yeah, the orange canopy is bad. This set unfortunately falls lower and lower in my esteem.
  12. Great to see an S11 Scarecrow fan club. I guess he exceeded everyone's expectations. In truth, he was not at all what I was expecting, but he turned out far better than I could hope. It's good to see that someone likes the Barbarian, since not many people do (at least so far). It's funny how LEGO keeps treading the line between blatant and named/licensed references to people with the Starlet and the Jazz Musician. The Gingerbread Man seems to shrink on me, because the dots to represent gingerbread bother me, and his head is a sandwich cookie...and no candy cane. Lowering my rating on him to a 6/10. I should probably shut up now, but please, no one affirm that!
  13. I just got a bad suspicion. I'm worried that the Yeti's head/chest piece will be rubber. Just something about it. I don't think I'm right, but you never know...
  14. The helmet is bad because it messes up the contour of his head. His head looks to tall and bulbous.
  15. Well the Scarecrow is obviously not menacing...one crow definitely isn't scared of him! And we already have a creepy scarecrow from the DC Universe. I just noticed that he (S11's of course) has tan hands. That is just ice cream in the Waitress's cup.
  16. It's a broken image for me. I think you can see it because you posted it.
  17. I think all of her facial features are too small, and the mouth is just messed-up. Cats like baskets.
  18. It did appear a few years ago in PotC. But it's still nice to have again. ARGH! That Scarecrow is such a good minifigure!
  19. The Elf's face isn't my favorite either. I'll replace it with the "smiling freckled child" face. I'm excited about the standing cat piece. It seems for every figure they botched (Waitress, Grandma's face) they have made up for with excellent figs (Scarecrow, Yeti).
  20. Lucky Poland already has these guys! I just noticed that the Gingerbread Man's head looks like two cookies when viewed on the side. Hmm...
  21. These are all amazing! Time for the obligatory thoughts on the ones I haven't seen: Barbarian: A little disappointing, but he's still cool. Not really my type of character, though. Scarecrow: My new favorite CMF. He looks like a friendlier version of Jonathan Crane, and he looks like he uses Tonto's crow. Blown away. His face really sells it for me. Lederhosen Lady: Cool new hairpiece, but not too special to me. Tiki Warrior: The mask is way too tacky for me. Elf: Adorable. The new teddy bear and hat/ears are great. The present is basic, but good. Mountain Climber: Come on, we wanted an ice climber, not a reality TV parkour expert! Jazz Musician: The sax is terrific, the rest is average. Little Miss 50's: Ugh. Yellow with yellow looks awful. She needed a differently colored outfit. At least she gets skates and a new hairpiece! Grandma: She is great. We finally get a new cat. Wasn't expecting the Starlet hair, though. The face is...odd. Constable: Terrific, again. The hat is thankfully a new piece. And finally the Yeti debate is settled: It's one piece! But no candy canes.
  22. He does. He has a red head piece with the face printed on it, hopefully with minimal discoloration.
  23. Okay, if that gold whatever-it-is is in fact Riddler's cane, I'm sold on this set. Flash, too, but the cane is a priority for me. Waiting (im)patiently for more pics...
  24. Darn. Riddler needs a question-mark suit, not a racing jacket! Will we need a fourth one in in couple of years to get a proper suited Riddler? I just don't understand LEGO's reasoning when it comes to the minifigs of the Riddler. "A red crowbar is totally his ? cane!"
  25. It's Yoda Chronicles. not Clone Wars, but I do like that the exclusives these year aren't terrible to miss. (But Green Arrow...)
