  1. The second one was great. Those minifigures are awful! The other ones were funny, too, though.
  2. And they're always blurry! But we did get the pamphlet image last year for S11.
  3. ^ It was accidental, but I left the phrasing as is, because I realized the pun. But if it is true that GA is likely to be in the game, the attention DC has given him recently makes him a good release candidate after GL is released.
  4. Whatever the case is, it is irrelevant to the sets. Unfortunately, if LEGO is giving Green Arrow the shaft in the game, then a physical release (in a widely available set) is unlikely.
  5. Isn't the Batarang the DC targeting mechanic? We don't really need arrows if the targets can be hit with something else. Although it was nice to have the arrows used to create acrobat poles.
  6. I never thought LEGO would reference Metal Gear...cool find!
  7. What do you think of the Overlord's tripod walker?
  8. How will Ninjago (an existing, coexisting theme) replace a new theme? I doubt Ultra Agents will have more than 3 waves at the most, but it won't be kicked out by an already existing theme.
  9. New worst: the movie Ninja Turtles, through no fault of LEGO's own. The designs in the movie are terrible, and make for some very ugly minifigures.
  10. Well, Marvel and DC want to cram Bats and Spidey down our throats, but LEGO is trying to find ways around it by this point. They are subverting the themes of those two heroes by making sets (Lex's mech and Lab Smash) without the themes' mascot heroes, and inserting secondary heroes into sets as well, (Aquaman, Flash). The movie sets let LEGO branch out while satisfying DC and Marvel. It's not all their fault in the little variety we've gotten, and it's improving.
  11. Damian is here because of the New 52. Nightwing and Batgirl are designed that way because of it as well. They're trying to keep the designs of their sets current (like Arkham City Freeze and Robin last year) to pull in more audiences. Man-Bat could be made because of the wings, so they used the ears and torso with brand-new printing to let us have Man-Bat. And they are giving us new characters, so we should be thankful for having new ideas now that the LEGO Batman rehashes are done, and new JL members are more likely now, too.
  12. Bats has also worked in blue, and very, very, dark blue. But be it Batman, Spiderman, or Superman, all heroes have great potential in LEGO sets. There are tons of heroes and villains, but LEGO is just starting to release new characters (Batgirl, Damian, Man-Bat, and some of Spidey's team) but not enough yet. All of the characters are well suited for the theme except the (dark ones that aren't LEGO-friendly) but so few of the characters have appeared.
  13. Here's a character from DC that deserves mention: New 52 Joker! And that's purely based on appearances, not to mention his behavior... In the same vein, Dollmaker counts as well.
  14. Or do you mean Baron von Barron or Mr. Hates? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see the classic villains again, but Dr. Inferno's probably the closest we'd get to having one.
  15. That's a nice idea (blue dress format with a light blue wave pattern similar to the style of the Dragon robes in Ninjago- and it reminds me of the famous painting, The Great Wave off Kangawa), although she was more of an evil Paris Hilton when I came up with her! The Asian twist might be a slightly offensive to some, though, since so many tragic real tsunamis affect the area. Although natural-disaster themed villains come close to crossing the line anyway.
  16. But it's highly unlikely. LEGO likes to move on, and references to classic themes are minimal. I think this new guy is an original villain.
  17. I liked the commentary a lot (I just overlooked it since I didn't watch it on my own initially). Interestingly, Chris Miller confirms that the LEGO universe is real, and Emmet just gets transported into the human world, The running gag of making a sandwich and taking a break made me chuckle as it went on, and Pratt's claiming to be the visual effects supervisor was pretty funny, too. And the cast's caring more about what their characters were doing rather than what was happening in the film (such as Alison Brie pointing out Astro Kitty in the middle of the SPACESHIP! scene.)
  18. In Europe at least! We in the US will probably get them later.
  19. Tsunami's Battle Yacht- $80 The villainous Tsunami has captured Agent Max Burns in her tidal-wave yacht! Use the Ultra Agents dual-mode hoverboat with spring-shooters to disarm her water cannons and wave turbines! -Yacht has giant propellers and turbines - Includes 3 Ultra Agents, Tsunami, and two primarily trans-blue henchmen (a la Adam Acid and Retox) to look like they're made of water. Both wear Hawaiian shirts. - Hoverboat features stud-shooters and spring-loaded shooters and rotating boosters to take to the air! - Yacht interior features weapons room, prison, and suite for Tsunami to rest. -Tsunami features blue hair in the Pop Star's style, a wicked grin (with sunglasses on one face, and an angry face without them) and a tourist outfit with a weapon vest for torso print! She comes armed with a water gun.
  20. I like his tentacles, but he should have had more orange, and he's the most basic construction of all of the Mixels with no creative techniques. Flurr and Shuff are pretty cute.
  21. I built P.U.P to the best of my ability. The midsection never really got a good view in the app, so I improvised using the SPIII dog's structure. I knew it didn't have the launcher so I used a 1x1 Technic brick as an adapter for the two studs on the droid bodies. I think it turned out well, and now he's in the HQ,
  22. That makes no sense. I'm disregarding it, and saying LEGO's trying too hard to connect their action themes. Connecting Pharaoh's Quest, Alien Conquest and Dino to then try to connect MF, GS, and UA? The moonstones have no relation to the villains at all, and Solomon Blaze's aging makes no sense either. And Tremor and Terabyte are the most human-like villains in the theme, plus Terabyte's not elemental. What????
  23. I can see Toxikita being D. Zaster's daughter, but the other ones don't make too much sense. Dr. Inferno and co,'s theme was cyborg villains, not elemental connections. But it's possible, since we don't seem to have any connections yet, and minimal story, being a more situational action storyline. Anything goes!
  24. Why is he wearing sweatpants? That has to be a set photo. But the differences need some sort of explanation. Maybe Stark is obsessive and can't get the right look?
