DC Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussions

I would have liked his hair/ears piece from the game, but they packed in a lot of new pieces in this set, so it's forgivable. -

Did people notice GL's leg printing! He has boots! -

There are probably unseen clip pieces holding the handles, but they're the same stud-shooter guns we had this year. -

I wonder why the rotating image on the article featured decorated SB wings like in the game, but the images don't. S@H images tend to be preliminary or feature errors, though. I like that the new cowl is metallic, since the game images made it seem white or gray-that's why. I will definitely pick this up as soon as I can. That spring platform seems to be a potential 2015 play feature attempt-like spring missiles from this year. I think they're reaching. -
I don't know if it's a cape. it looks like plastic that attaches to his back.

I NEED THAT! Sinestro, GL and Space Bats? I wondered why the cowl looked grey in some pics and white in others-it's metallic! And it looks like he has a folded pair of wings, too! What's that clear piece under the Lantern jet? A new trans-yellow bar for Sinestro's construct, and some great pieces besides.

Well, these posters have been proven to be clues, so new costume or not, GL is almost certain to debut on the mainstream LEGO market next year.

Noted. It's a great solution, and one they should have had at the start of the 2006 Batman theme!

And it shows off the new Batcow (note the black chin area)! I'm sure we're getting that Bats, WW, and GL now! But isn't Batman's expression used on the Clone Troopers? It looks very similar.

It is the same piece as 2010 Ron's.

I doubt they'll use that exact head in the future. Bats never smiles like that. This head was designed for the current cowl anyway, and it's likely that the new cowl will be the headgear next year, so it would need a reprint to have those expressions to work with the new cowl. I don't care too much for the stubble, either. Odd that the cape doesn't match the render, although I'm not upset about that! And the display as a suit in the poster was deliberate so his face wouldn't be shown yet.

It's a theory. The new cowl used in Batman 3 doesn't cover the chin, so the head has to be black with white eyes and a flesh mouth area if the chin is to be black. No regular eyes, no sweatband, just a black head with white eyes and a flesh mouth area. I'm reiterating so you don't have to page-hunt. TLM Batman seemed to use this style to achieve expressive eyes, since the cowl piece couldn't move.

Darn. Oh, well. At least it's not one of the Batfamily suits, so I'm okay with it.

I knew it was going to be mini, but it doesn't look like there are exclusive parts on it. Are there? Very happy that the figs aren't exclusive. Brickset says that following the LEGO Twitter will reveal a chance to win the exclusives for non-attendees!

Adam West will be in the game, so a Batman for him is too likely.

Dinosaur-inspired Mixels would be cool, since the Flexers are based off of sea creatures.

The Tumbler and SDCC figs are what are still relevant to this topic, but more sets belong in next year's discussion. I wonder... Supergirl is likely, but I'm still thinking it's a villain somehow.

Ventiloquist seems very likely now, since that's the second time that he's shown up, and with the same design. I don't really like Scarface, and the hat is ridiculous, but it would be great to see him. I'm surprised Mad Hatter wasn't in those pictures. I hope that doesn't mean we're not getting him...

The UCS sets aren't intended to house minifigs, but when you give them minifig-friendly interiors, you get a scale issue.

Well, at least Palpatine in the "Dark Side" book will have all-new printing and a new skin color.
