  1. The inside of the cape or the outside? It could have unseen back details.
  2. It's a fair criticism of the cartoon. Many of the characters' designs and origins have been totally changed, and fans of the classics are worried that we'll continue to get awful USM minifigures instead of the classics. Thankfully Doctor Doom and Doc Ock made it through (Ock after he got a USM minifig), but we're still waiting on classic Green Goblin.
  3. But it's unlike LEGO to slightly update an old design (Johnny Thunder made sense) so I'm wondering what they'll do. I'm very excited that if Bats uses the LB3 cowl in future sets, he'll have a black head, white eyes, and a flesh mouth area, and no awkward sweatband, since the cowl doesn't cover the chin.
  4. Alfred would be amazing, but the games use his 2006 version, so if we get him, it would hardly be different.
  5. We've talked about this just recently and a while ago, still debating the likelihood of Ventriloquist appearing in a set.
  6. If anything, a Heath Ledger Joker is way more likely than a New 52 Joker!
  7. I know the New 52 doesn't change the looks of the villains too much (and Joker's design would never ever ever make it to LEGO) but Harley gets a new look, and I would love to see her as a minifigure. She would have a new side pigtail piece which could be used in different colors in future themes (and even in blonde for Dr. Quinzel), and since she introduced the jester hat to the LEGO world, initiating a useful hair mould would be nice too. Her costume can always be toned down by LEGO, since they made famously-provocative Storm, and her arms would be white and she'd have the mask detail on her face. Whether or not she'd include a mallet... it would be nice to have.
  8. The new cowl from the game is sure to feature in future sets, especially since Space Batman is rumored for a physical release, never mind if they make game sets. And the head can solve the sweatband! In The LEGO Movie, Bats's head is black with white eyes and a flesh mouth area, so they could do this for a better white-eyes look, since the new cowl doesn't cover the chin.
  9. Killer Moth, Mad Hatter and Clayface should take precedence over V/S.
  10. I found a lone LEGO Movie minifigure (Larry) at a TRU today.
  11. That microfig is best for scale, but the hat's too big and the gun can't be held, so I'm thinking LEGO Batman 3, but not a physical release.
  12. Why? They're accurate. Is it design or personal preference?
  13. The catalog image shows that it's plainly regular Orange. The lighting of the above pic makes it look darker, but it's still orange.
  14. "Direct to consumer", i.e, large exclusive sets only available at LEGO stores or the online shop.
  15. It's going to be a DC exclusive set. The TLM commentary said that the Batwing/mobile from the film was not going to be made. The previous Tumber was in The Joker's Ice Cream Surprise. This would be the first UCS one.
  16. They could also use Draco's. The hairstyle isn't unique enough to warrant a new hairpiece. Are they actually making sets for DOJ?
  17. HL Joker? That's a surprise, although it makes sense. I wonder if this person is being honest. How would they have seen the Tumbler?
  18. I doubt they would use the same new piece twice in the series. The modern perception of princesses is long flowy hair with tiaras, so maybe we'll get a Friends hairpiece in a new color. I hope we get a new tiara piece, though.
  19. Which thingy? There's a Nixel and the Speedor from Web Dash.
  20. Spooky seems like she would be GitD, but I doubt they would do that for a CMF (and she's China-made). Would make it more worth the money, but it depends on whether or not glow in the dark would make sense for her character (her bio will reveal all...). Wait, what's up with Piggy? Look at that line on the bottom of his torso... is that printing or is it three-dimensional? The angle and shadows are confusing and that line doesn't look like good detail to put on the torso since we can't see any other printing on it.
  21. It's not quite lolita, though. It's a weird monochrome girl in a school uniform with a spooky teddy bear. Possibly Addams Family and Japanese horror boarding schools collided with a little bit of goth thrown in. Whatever she is, I can't wait to get her. (and she's timed well for Halloween- I like that LEGO arranges that sort of timing for their minifigures) I don't love the Prospector. I think his hat is comically large in a bad way, and the beard should have been the Fisherman's recolored.
  22. These reveals are getting me excited for the next pics! I really wanna see the Genie Girl... And is it me or does the Spooky Girl seem somewhat inspired by Japanese horror? Isn't there something they have about creepy schoolgirls or creepy boarding schools? And just saying, her teddy is perfect. WhiteFang will have to add it to the other CMF bears in the next series review.
  23. I like the Spooky Girl! Just the right combo of goth and supernatural (almost an older Wednesday Addams...). Prospector's okay, and Piggy Guy's meh.
  24. They're in the new "Ninja Turtles" movie sets.
