  1. Actually, not likely-she'd need a new hairpiece.
  2. If it is, another horrifying possibility- Mystique from the game.
  3. Jumping the shark...This is supposed to be the same god, but a different gender? WHY? Hasn't the Cinematic Universe settled his image in the mind of the public? I checked, it is not April 1st. *offtopicranting*
  4. I think it's not going to reflect on LEGO for a while. They haven't even jumped on the New 52 bandwagon that much, either.
  5. The grappling gun isn't functional. The movie took creative license. But that really belongs in its respective topic. Female Thor? Black Cap? I heard on the news a few minutes ago that Steve Rogers loses his powers, and Falcon comes into play. I tuned out, but is Falcon becoming the new Captain America?
  6. I corrected myself. Odd that they're continuing the theme into 2015. I love it, but still, the movie will have come out nearly a year ago.
  7. Oops, I missed that the set was going to be a regular release. Yes!
  8. Why is this topic dead? We've got an exclusive to whine about! And a preview of a January set! They're really milking this theme... https://www.yahoo.co...2080976622.html I don't like Demon Kitty, but I hope Batman's face is like it appears in the Movie. How does the expression-changing Kitty work? Is it real LEGO or a novelty item?
  9. We have to realize that SDCC is at fault. If LEGO is to appear there (and since they have Marvel and DC licenses, they almost have to), they'll be under pressure to have exclusive giveaways, since other companies do it, too. The problem here is that the theme is fairly new for LEGO, so when they make an exclusive, we don't have it yet and say they shouldn't have made it for SDCC and given it to us in the main market. When it's as old as Star Wars, we'll probably be fat and happy from all of the excellent minifigures LEGO gave us, so we won't care as much about the exclusives. I hope that Batman doesn't have a TLM-style face. And how does that expression-changing Unikitty work? And that Angry Kitty is hideous, one exclusive I don't mind missing.
  10. I try to think that way too. My life is not incomplete without Bizarro, Green Arrow, and the Collector. But it's just too bad that the event demands exclusives. There would be no novelty in older minifigures, so previews are the best way to go, since they get a minifigure with nice packaging early, while fans will get the same one later. As long as it's not a Batman rogue like Mad Hatter, I'm fine (and I just jinxed myself, didn't I).
  11. Oh, sure. They're listening to the exclusive potential, and not how unhappy it makes fans?
  12. Oh, I wish. But it's probably an exclusive variant, since Rocket is, too. Hopefully a preview. So that's technically seven exclusive minifigures, but three in overpriced sets.
  13. Why would the Batmobile be a preview? It's an exclusive mini-model with a hopefully-not-exclusive minifigure. There was the Hulk minifigure.
  14. Great. Just....great. Don't care about Collector, but if AW Batman is the figure in the '66 Batmobile (which is sure to be the same size as Rocket's Warbird). I'll be pissed. That article really tossed around the word "exclusive". They meant large models (not technically exclusives but photo-ops) three midi-scale sets and four minifigures. Those 3 other minifigures are getting me worried... And how come we get dark grey Rocket Raccoon minifigures if the sculpture has a brown one?
  15. They've announced the SDCC exclusive set, Rocket's Warbird, and Plastic Man will be the GameStop preorder exclusive for Beyond Gotham.
  16. Brainiac looks great. Please don't be an exclusive, please don't be an exclusive...
  17. Giving Hawkeye the Sleepyhead's hairpiece in Dark Nougat would look so much better than Bruce Wayne's.
  18. FF is gone for a while. No comics, toys, and definitely not movies. Marvel wants to erase all association with the movies.
  19. Due to the Fox movie controversy, Marvel is pulling FF from their repertoire for a while.
  20. So we're thinking Rocket's feet are a different plastic layer (which they haven't done before, they've made 3-layered legs for The Simpsons), and the legs are printed on the sides. I'm thinking there's too much saying that he's going to appear later, somehow, somewhere.
  21. They printed CMF Bart's legs. The feet are very possibly a different plastic, but there is side pocket printing on Rocket's legs.
  22. Those are dark red short legs with dark grey printing on the bottom and side printing, not molded from multiple colored plastics (I think).
  23. That may be, but the LEGO color is the Dark Red we've had for a while.
  24. It's the lighting. LEGO doesn't have a subtle purple-red color like that. Rocket's outfit is dark red.
  25. I think LEGO doesn't understand or care about the viewpoint of the people who don't get the exclusives. These minifigures are made in limited quantities anyway, so is it really worth it to make them just to make them? It's too bad that SDCC is the kind of event where giveaways are expected, since it's bringing down a lot of fans. But we need to remember that it's ultimately not much of a big deal to miss the minifigures. I think most of us are saying we're mad about the minifigures, but are really upset about the exclusives.
