  1. This is too freaking cool! I love it! And your diorama is outstanding!
  2. Yeah the back end isn't the best by any means. I might come up with my own version at the back if it looks really bad in Technic. Here is my wip tonight. Front suspension nearly worked out with anti-sway bars that work pretty well considering they are plastic. The speed of this thing is very impressive, currently weighs about 700grams, and is quite fast even with flat-ish batteries. This is just a crappy test chassis atm. Can't wait to try lithiums in it!!!
  3. That is really freaking sweet man! I shall have to give it a shot sometime soon.
  4. Very very cool! Outstanding job.
  5. Finally I get some time to build! WOOT! Well I've been wondering what to make for my next project, as I really wanted to make a modern curvy supercar for once! And just when I was about to give up look what pops up! What can I say? I love the looks, and I wasn't really a fan of the old and really old GT, but this one I like! I'm also looking forward to building in a new style for me consisting of Black and Blue rigid and pneumatic hoses. The idea is for it to be ultra light and cheap to build using 8070 rims and tires and possible those nice Ferrari rims. I'm not sold on the back of the car tho, kinda looks like a skull with firey eyes! LOL Looks nice in silver! http://www.motorauth...icago-auto-show Here is my WIP The bodywork will be completely pneumatic hose, and I'm aiming for under 1kg final weight. The hose on the Left is 3rd party, slightly more stiff and off blue tho. I must express my disapointment that my previous thread was locked after only 4 days with no WIP, but anyway we shall move on. And no discussing what makes a supercar or not! Make another thread please.
  6. WOW, I'm looking forward to fresh snow as well!
  7. Thank you for the kind words. I'm very sorry I don't have a LDD of this model, it turned out to be very hard to make as every liftarm was at strange angles. I would suggest you remove your email address from the public eye too.
  8. haha Anyone got any ideas on how to do this crane? I have one function going up thru, to either a screw box or maybe an LA?
  9. Yeah it was released the same weekend as Home Alone! Big mistake. It only made 75% of its budget
  10. That is very nice!
  11. Thanks guys for your support! I will continue it, cos I'm the kinda person that likes to finish things befor starting a new project. haha.
  12. So freaking awesome! Amazing job with all the chrome and variations. I truly love that engine. And the interior! I feel very proud, haha, thanks for sharing with us.
  13. I would like to see a pneumatics competition too! With no electrics and maybe limiting to 4 large cylinders. And support giving a prize to other than top 3. The instructions as prizes is a good idea too.
  14. I think the bar has definitely been risen this time, but this comp is more suited to what most build, ie 4 main functions via remote control. I'm very sad I didn't finish but that is life! I'm surprised there wasn't a rock crawler type with 4 wheel steering and winch or adjustable suspension, or a dock crane like from GTA, that would have been cool.
  15. Amazing entries! I had a hard time picking max points for the first 3. Good luck to all! 28:10 21:6 22:4 27:3 12:2 33.1
  16. Bling bling makes my heart sing! Stunning model.
  17. What a monster! Would look fantastic on Thunderbirds! Great job!
  18. Yeap you're right! Way too many issues to resolve in time. The problem is simple, this truck could not exist!!!!! It gives new meaning to "floating axles" hahaha Well I tried, if you guys think its worth continuing just for fun let me know. Would have helped if my orders had arrived. The crane is a big problem tho.......
  19. Hey Everyone! Here is my entry so far. (WIP) Pics 2 posts down. I haven't been too well, and this weekend was the first time I built in 5 weeks so I am very behind with this project. https://www.flickr.c...th/16349961667/ Not sure if I will get it done, if someone could give me an hour countdown Euro time, that would be great! Cheers.
  20. Great job man! I think it looks awesome, with some great functions and seems solidly built. Will there be a video? I do think those seats need a bit of work, not sure how to improve them, maybe a little wider and spaced wider? The front is a very tidy design, I really like it.
  21. Thanks Jim! That's awesome, I'm curious to know what people think now, as it is a bit of a copycat in many areas. Cheers.
  22. Thanks for the feedback guys! Jim how do I make a voting pole? Love, Hate, okish.
  23. The V6 is appealing to a modelling perspective, I know its only saving 2 studs, but sometimes that can make all the difference.
