  1. I love my Canon EOS 550D and EOS Utility! I havn't explored the software as much as you have, but from what I did see it was better than any "free" stop motion programs. Great job!
  2. This is huge! Fantastic job! I love the colour coordination. Something strange about your video tho, its like its stop motion.
  3. Hello Oldbuilder, welcome to EB. Are you in Queensland by any chance?
  4. Great model! I love all the functions and overall look. I can't believe that you fitted all that in there! You have inspired me to make stuff non PF! haha you mentioned your pneumatics from BL were stuffed, were they used? I'm guessing they were cheap?
  5. That is so cool! All that movement from 3 motors? I have no idea how these wheels work, but it is mesmerizing!
  6. What can I say, I'm a Ford man! Simply stunning car! Amazing job.
  7. Thanks for your reply! I simply click on parts such as the 2L black axle and stuff disappears, here is some screen grabs. Some seem to disappear but not all. as you can see below. Also when rotating in 3d it seems to jump and center itself on the center on the model, is ther a way to turn that off? Many thanks!
  8. Ahh thanks anyway. I did have a look, but seems that you need a subscription to use all features. Can you export at all without subscription? its also annoying pressing "enter" to place a bit every time, is there another way? Thanks again!
  9. Thank you all very much for your help! Only two question I have. In MLCAD, is there a way to make parts rotate about their center not 0.0.0 of the work area. And why do pieces disappear when I select something? Makes it difficult to line up when you are moving something to it. Many thanks again!
  10. I tried searching and reading old threads on this topic, but being so old I thought I would post this, inquiring about new info. Firstly I have never used any of these programs more than 5 mins, so I'm very unfamiliar with them. LDD seems by far the easiest to use and has more parts available. Is that true? Basically what I would like to know is exporting from LDD to a .LDR then opening in up in Ldraw/LeoCad/MLCAD seems to make things go crazy! For example the new f1 Hubs disappear as well as more common pieces. Is this the norm? I Think I have downloaded all the programs, checked that they are upto date, so not sure. At the end of the day I would like to make instructions using LPUB. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Just don't want to waste my time building in LDD if it wont work.
  11. Looking good! Very clean lines so far, keep up the great job. I noticed ur Ujoint is cracked Any idea how many parts so far?
  12. cool! Very colourful, and I like the mechanism to stop the balls at the start.
  13. It looks amazing great job! My mate has one in white. Spot on!
  14. What a beast! Great job! I love the details, but still looks technic style. The functions are fantastic and the solutions you have come up with are just great! Well done indeed.
  15. I was going to say sad batteries! haha Great start! I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes. So wished it snowed here eh. :) Just noticed you are driving it from the high gear output, i would say thats a bit too much for it on snow. it will struggle i think.
  16. ON a very hot aussie day watching your red one on snow was very nice! I love it. as for your new one, i really like the black and white, but does need filling in a bit. :) (is that a sticker on the lipo battery? could you peal it off? :P) But you know what I'm thinking start again with an RC motor, after watching the red one, TOTALLY carve it up! hahah What motor does it have now? :) Anyways can't wait to see the finished model! Will be awesome. WOOPS just realized this is really old! LOLLLLL
  17. Thanks for all the GREAT comments guys! We really appreciate them. No problem go right a head! Thanks! No I just chased Ben and recorded. We had to start packing up and you hear the organizers over the load speaker. Had no idea how the footage was going to turn out as I had never tested the camera! I'm very pleased with the results, and at 40grams can't complain! YES Birthdays are a really good idea and a few people have mentioned to me that it should be given a shot. Standard table height plus 40cm for the height of the bridges. This is way too high for little kids. You're welcome! I'm very glad you had fun with your kids.
  18. Thanks Ben for that amazing intro! I could not have said it any better.
  19. Videos is coming very soon! Yes indeed! I told a lot of friends there will be robots, but there was only one ev3. :(
  20. Awesome contest! How do you vote for entries? Will there be a poll or something?
  21. WOW, this is just too good! Like others have said, I didn't even realize it was Lego until closer inspection. Great original project!
  22. Hi Everyone! Here is a few more pics to keep you entertained whilst I make a massive new thread. Will post sometime tmr. I have a lot of footage to go thu and edit, including onboard cam, and my other cameras too. :) HAHA, not child proof!!!! Ever seen a liftarm snapped like that?
  23. OMG this is just stunning! Everywhere you look there are perfect details. Great job! The only thing im not sure on is the tan hoses, just seem a little out of place, if I were to be really picky.
  24. From bricklink.com. Thanks man! Thanks for answering my question. I guess to play it safe you need another RC unit for additional motors.
  25. Thank you guys for the awesome feedback. We are very happy how it turned out too. There will be the pit in the middle filled with dried beans, so you can pick up and dump them in the dump truck. :P Now I have turned my attention to finishing some mocs for our Technic display. We hav a 1.8M round table for our models. Getting very excited now, will be setting up tmr for the expo.
