  1. Thanks guys. Yes I did! It took 3 full days to photograph. Its a fun build. I just took mine apart and with just a chassis blasted around the living room, goes well with the body, but is very quick without! haha
  2. This is soo incredible! Such unique ways of doing things! Awesome! Could someone please translate from German?
  3. LOL Someone screwed up the cargo planes number. http://www.lego.com/...ducts/new/42024 should be 42025 NOT 42925 And there is no part 2 for the container trucks instructions. :/
  4. Very cool! Great job. Awesome that you used 42009 as a base. :edit, can't be harsh on model numbers now! haha
  5. Very awesome! I think you did a great job on the video as well. I'm not a fan of farming machines as well, but this is just too good. Any chance of some pics of the insides?
  6. Thanks for the nice comments guys! sure do! http://rebrickable.c...wn/1932-hot-rod
  7. Merry Christmas everyone, and a Happy New Year! I'm very pleased to present instructions to my 1932 Ford Hot Rod from the popular demand that I had for them. I have been working on these now for about 3 months taking up most of my free time, but I am very very happy with the results. These are truly unique instructions made from the 450 photos I took using a 200mm lens, with the camera touching the ceiling on a tripod. This creates the very nice near isometric look that I wanted, to make it clear to follow visually in each step. These instructions are available for $16US from MOCplans. http://mocplans.com/...32-hot-rod.html Parts list is at rebrickable, but PM for a brickstore list. http://rebrickable.com/mocs/docbrown/1932-hot-rod I'm really excited to see what mods/customs creations people come up with!
  8. Amazing machine! and its better than me at throwing.
  9. I gifted myself 2nd hand 8466, (probably the 2nd time it has been wrapped up for xmas!) and did designer Dan's mods from memory with new springs. Turned out very well built in 5 hours, tho a 3L pin was missing! URGH The steering was awesome! the ride was near perfect and those doors truly are amazing! Shame there is not really a B model. Merry Christmas to all!!!
  10. Thanks! So would 7700/82 be 1:094? or 1:94:
  11. Thank you very much blakbird! Just what I was looking for. Cheers Another question! How do you work out scale? For example my model is 41cm long and in real life its 7700cm long, What scale is that?
  12. I would like to give it a go, but as dhc6twinotter said, the steering pivot is in the center of the hub. :/ I just have this feeling that I would be impossible in RL, haha.
  13. Really awesome! Looks the part too, with sweet performance.
  14. Wish I could help you! I don't know anything about this set. Looks pretty cool tho.
  15. Thanks for your feedback guys. I just have this feeling that something isn't right. Even if the front and the rear wheel pivot in the center, when it turns some part of the tire would have to skid on the ground. I don't think it can actually! haha.
  16. Looking awesome! Man that is steering (using u-joints) from hell! I love it! Looking forward as well to seeing it in action.
  17. I stumbled apon this beauty, and after examining it can not work out how it would work (steering mostly) unless its some sort of CV joint. I'm curious to know from those that know bikes (and ridden one! :P ) What you think of this. Also its potential to build in technic.
  18. I don't, but looks like a cool set! I have a general question. What is the longest moving technic moc, that anyone knows off? Going back years or whatever! Models that look good and to scale. :)
  19. Black is awesome! But hard to see finer details, but sometimes that is what you want to create the illusion that the detail is or could be there.
  20. I'm thinking of working on my own garbage truck using unimog wheels and of course picking up this little beauty! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/390622425740?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
  21. This is so freaking cute! Great job. 8868 was my 2nd fav as a kid....maybe one day! haha.
  22. Hi GZZig Not a problem, and thanks for your nice comment. I used adapters to the standard PF elements. (Unfortunately the seller i got them from is not offering them anymore, "ile9os" on ebay and not sure where else you can buy them from, perhaps BL). 3rd party tires are Ansmann 1.9". Hope that helps.
