  1. great mods! My suggestions would be for your photos, perhaps rest the phone on the back of one of those chairs so the pic would be better. I don't have a BS account, so not sure. But the pics linked are too big per guidelines, not that I'm complaining! I love big pics, with my bad eyesight.
  2. Great job! Models don't always have to be huge to be appealing! I can so see it being sold as a small kit.
  3. That's looking really nice! Very clean design. I still find the best part of the building process is designing suspensions and steering, so good luck and look forward to seeing what you come up with. Those CV joints should be ok for a race buggy, but not for a crawler.
  4. I had no idea what a prowler was, so if this is it, I for one don't think its ugly at all. Very striking and different.
  5. Nice Thread! Seems like a lot got back into it with 8070, and the same applied to me, but it really was the crawler that started my obsession of again. On A work holiday I saw it in a store, and practically screamed "Omg its RC"!!!! I brought it instantly not realizing I had a 5KM walk/bus ride back to the hotel. DOH
  6. Looking really good man, sweet job. It looks really fast and light.
  7. No problem, you will also need about 500- 600 3L blue pins and about the same in black pins.
  8. Thanks for the great comments guys! Here's some pics. More available here and hires. Have fun building! http://www.flickr.com/photos/93348708@N05/with/9770560454/
  9. Thank you very much! I used Maya. the 41999's took just 5 mins to make, real quick, haha. Sure thing tmr, and thanks. What shots do you want?
  10. Here's a huge update! Ozben and I worked flat out yesterday and made all this. Yes thats sawdust on 41999. :P This is roughly what it will look like when finished.
  11. Well until he posts a hi res image of all 200 or more, I don't believe him.
  12. WOW, I really like it! Such great details in Technic style. Sweet job! Well done.
  13. Thanks for that, but both links seem to be expired. I messaged the shop asking for availability. Cheers.
  14. Thanks dr_spock for the excellent summary. Convinced me to get some and try out. :) May I have the link if you have it on hand. :D
  15. http://www.bricklink...=444&colorID=18 I believe that is the part. Edit: That actually might not be it. could be this one, if so I would say its quite rare, and doesn't have a proper pic. http://www.bricklink...=444&colorID=98 Or this looks good on ebay http://www.ebay.co.u...B-/300962088733
  16. Here is a update! I've made pretty much made as much of the solid bridge as I can. Will need 12 x 5x11 panels, and heaps of liftarms to fill in the road part. There are both sides to the bridge above, i just put them next to each other in the photo.
  17. Thank you all for the fantastic suggestions! OZBen and I will be meeting on Wednesday to discuss the details and put things down on paper. Build some stuff with Technic too, so stay tuned! These ideas are super! Thanks.
  18. Welcome to Eurobricks! Airbags in a model! WOW just WOW. This Moc is just stunning, packed with so many features and functions. Outstanding job! Well done indeed. Thank you very much for sharing!
  19. Hey that's cool! I would love to build some stuff out of Lego, and looking at my red liftarm stockpile, might just have enough to build a bridge. Will have a look tomorrow. Water is cool! But would you drive your 41999 thu a pit of water? Makes me think about a pit of rice! and maybe have 8043 in there somewhere! That's interesting! I wonder is some stairs would be possible, going up an down?
  20. Good luck figuring it out! I'm sure you will get it eventually.
  21. Thanks for the great suggestions guys! You have no idea how excited I am about this! I did think about building it entirely out of Lego, but it would be a small fortune. Didn't think of that, will give it some thought. Cheers. I might be wrong but I think we have done that already with the skill test above, but thanks anyway.
  22. YES! Who indeed! hehe I think I know what you mean. That sounds like a great idea, don't want it to be too easy eh. I will incorporate it into the next image. cheers! We were inspired by your ideas! Thank you very much. The info of the crawler climbing was very useful, that way new crawlers will be able to compare to the 41999 ect. Look forward to seeing more of your course.
  23. Hi Everyone Here is a 3d version of a massive rock crawler course being designed as a collaboration. Some people have suggested some awesome ideas, and thought about putting them all together and see what it is like. This course has 41999 and 9398 in mind, but of course other MOC's are welcome. Inspiration has also been drawn from real courses designed to test off-road and military vehicles. If you have any ideas now it the time to share! All comments are welcome and greatly appreciated. I should also state that the final design WILL be built. As we have the time, resources and motivation to get it done. (I realize that the bridges are a little low. ) Kind regards.
