Nice build! I like the interior, and the weathered look of the upper story!

I was just going for more recent exposure. But the 90's version was indeed the best. I still have his action figure somewhere.

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
Lord Vladivus replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm looking forward to the Rebels, much more so than TCW (and I was pretty excited about that too). I would assume a new mould, I can't think of piece combos that would work. And I agree, I would be nice to have stormiest helmets that could turn. -
I like the leaning section! Are the frogs watching it sink? ;)

I spotted 79107 Commanche Camp at 75% off of the sale price in my local indie toystore today. Less than £5 so not a bad deal, and my first Lone Ranger set too. Brings back fond memories of the old Western theme.

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors

TC-4 is gorgeous. As others have said, I do hope we get leg printing on Threepio. -
Mister Sinister is a pretty big character in X-Men. He's obviously not in the films at the moment, so he's not as mainstream famous, but I'd say he's one of the 3 main X-Men super villains (Magneto, Apocalypse and Mister Sinister). I used to like his story lines. I'm pretty sure he was involved in the Wolverine cartoon not too long ago. On topic, I'm literally buzzing for the GotG set(s).

Nice entry! The whole thing is amazing! Love the story! -
Great build! Love the leprechaun sticking his head round the corner! Nice story too. It's got me intrigued!

I get lots of ads for (US based) retirement plans. I'm under 30, and am Southern England born and bred. So long as pop-ups aren't forced I'm cool with whatever (I might take offence if I see hardcore porn though, but I'd hazard a guess that's unlikely.).

I'm not often rendered speechless. This is one of those times. Kudos. I wish you luck in building this in real life, it's superb! -

AoM - Tower phase ll - even further in the cold North.

I think he's talking about crenellations, the top of the wall is a little flat. -
Very nice! Those elven cloaks certainly work well, I missed Frodo initially in the first pic haha!

LOTR & The Hobbit 2013 Set Discussion
Lord Vladivus replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I don't think I've ever seen the Mirkwood Elf poly in the UK. I saw plenty of the Gandalf poly though. The preceding ones, (Uruk-hai and Frodo) were both available in the UK. From that, it would appear that the distribution is a bit more random, but I'm willing to bet that the Laketown Guard poly doesn't turn up in the UK.- 7,499 replies

That thought crossed my mind, and the Shraliek are also dwarf-Orc types, with bushy beards and short legs. Or perhaps they're a splinter group from the Shraliek. Civil war breeds betrayal after all. -
The 'Build-a-Minifigure' towers in stores
Lord Vladivus replied to Robianco's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The young Boba torso is strange, given that it's an advent calendar exclusive. Although I suppose there will be be lots left over. I rarely find licensed parts, just the odd fleshie head. -
I like the house, it's ramshackle and cool. I like the bench, that's a nice touch, and the roof is great, probably my favourite bit. I like the rock work too and nice use of different coloured foliage (I need to get the Council of Elrond for those bits). However, I don't feel like the house sitting on top of the rocks/cave like it does works, it feels a bit like the plates were just plonked on top. I'd have varied the height of the cliff a bit, and worked a few rocks into the house, on the side it's flush with the cliff. If the house was on its own, I wouldn't have any problems.
