42177 Mercedes G500 4X4
Aleh replied to SNIPE's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I'm sure that we will get regular V8 version, but electric one would be challenging - how about 4 electric motor (one per will), imitating all possible locks + turning around itself like tank?) -

Absolutely agree! If not the Gelandewagen would have 3 diffs - who then? Why? Obsolete 10 years ago cylinders still attract? -

For instance Gelandewagen does not have winch :) The main feature of the G-klass is 3 lockable differentials, if I'm not wrong only two cars have this option, so probable this may be implemented in lego version -

Yesterday saw the new Gelandewagen on Youtube, some assumptions: 1) This facelift has a brand new blue colour - we can expect this from TLG 2) Real vehicle has V8 only in G63 modification, so we can expect I6, hopefully with Kawasaki crankshaft 3) Real exterior changes are so minor (new grill with 4 horizontal lines) that in TLG model we can expect just a G500, hopefully squad version 4) Dream - maybe some new Mercedes logo parts 5) Enjoy this mindblowing video -

Pressing the button several times for 15 seconds made no effect. If I'm not wrong while charging I was able to update Nordic firmware to 3.22, but still have issues with Tajnik firmware. General Part Discussion
Aleh replied to Polo-Freak's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hello! I've faced with a problem an need some advice. I kept several my sets on the terrace for a couple of months under sun and rain. They still look cool but something is wrong with the parts - they work VERY tough and tight - it's very hard to remove even a pin from beam. When I tried to drive a car with a transmission and engine - several joins were broke. I assume I need to reassemble the full set, but not sure this will help. Maybe some metal nano elements or salt from rain is now between parts?- 5,507 replies
