  1. Am i right - here we can see 2 * 42082 + other spare parts?
  2. I bought severl 3rd party servos on Allegro and feel happy. Despite I own 2 original ones. UPD: Mine are Carolyns bricks ones
  3. The meaning of "giant MOC" brought new value Oberving this thread
  4. So this is the second technic flagship after 42070 which I don't want to own. The bucket itself looks interesting for MOCs, no more... Oh, that's nice, because I'm currently building some new tracked MOC with almost the same track's sizea and the superstructure with chassis and tracks weights already 2,2 KG without BB and it's 90-95% ready :) But the number of PF motors is seven I think...
  5. So it's not a joke it's not fully RC even?? So sad
  6. Forget that MK. Find original instructions with subtractor. Hardly I can remember another excavator with working subtractor and motors inside superstructure! Your excavator has 3 motors inside chassis - absolutely another internal construction.
  7. In this case let me recommend you Terex RX400 mining excavator by Sheo
  8. Free MOD for Powered UP version with luffing jib. KB 402 https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-228060/OleJka/soviet-tower-crane-kb-402-with-luffing-jib-and-powered-up-electrics/#details
  9. And finally I did a KB 402 Modification with luffing jib and Powered Up Electronics
  10. It's just a G500 6 x 6. Nothing common with Brabus. And G900 exists only as a XLP edition as far as I know. 3rd party drivetrain looks indeed very powerfull and a tiny mistake with torque will ruin the lego gears I assume.
  11. I devinitely need to improve my memory model presenting skills... The original crane has two winches for 4 features(!): 1) Winch is being used for raising the main tower and keeping it, then at the final assemble stage fixed jib's strings system being integrated into this and the same winch being used to raise a jib (while keep in a vertical position the main boom) - implemented here 2) Winch with temporary string cord to grow sections inot the main tower, when the tower is full - the new string being repaced with a new one for the hook. I though this is "too much" for lego and added a third which for hook and made that assembly winch permanent. Electrics: 2 M motors to move 4 x 2 carriages on custom rails L motor for hook winch hoist L Motor for the booms supprt L Motor for the jib carriage movement 3 IR receivers, 2 small battery boxes.
  12. Hello Eurobrickers, please welcome my new MOC Soviet Tower Crane KB403/KB405 from the last century made of Lego Technic. Fully RC, reproduces the original crane working principles and construction. ~2350 parts The main idea was to implement all real crane mechanics including the crane ability to assemble himself. I was lucky to cope with this. Will try to film another video about the assembly process from the ground to the working position. Please enjoy the video! All images: https://bricksafe.com/pages/Aleh/tower-crane-kb-403 The designing and implementation was very hard due to lack of a blueprints and high level of complexity. To understange the level of this crazyness just see what blueprints I've used to reproduce the string cords mechanics: The MOC has the following electrics: 2 M motors to move 4 x 2 carriages on custom rails L motor for hook winch hoist L Motor for the booms supprt L Motor for the jib carriage movement 3 IR receivers, 2 small battery boxes. Building instructions are already available https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-227638/OleJka/soviet-tower-crane-kb-403/#details
  13. Hello Sir! Thank you for this update! To be honest my 42046 is standing on shelf assembled from 2016, almost 9 years already, it was never reassembled. So this is a great reason to rebuild the model into the most advamced nowaday. Will try to find time :)
  14. @crazy technic based on my own experience I'm reccomend to consider soft shock asorbers for tracks tension, because hard one make it too hard and obviously extra load for motor
  15. Looks like replacement og those triangle panels and the bucket let's us to build this excavator without bying it like it was with the 42042 set?
  16. Dinosaur aged topic about dinosaur was bumped :) I was lucky to observe then last spring in Lego House :) About instructions - I wonder how many pages/Gigabytes the file would take theoretically. And which BL shop sells metal frames for it?)
  17. Yes! Was able to manage sbrick using Brickcontroller2. So I guess sbrick units way be usefull for a couple of years. Thank you
  18. Hello! Is there any way to control the sbricks now? I still have their application despite it's impossible to find it in the appstore. But it's impossible to download any public profile it's impossible to create a new profile. Was that project abandoned? So why the official site is still selling the devices?
  19. And all 12 tracks are under torque which makes the moving smooth and pretty easy :)
  20. Thank you very much! It has 5700 pieces approx. COmparison tp the lego grandfather of all bwe: And the building instructions are ready: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-213369/OleJka/krupp-bagger-293/#details
