YESSSSS SO HARD! New masks better be compatable with older parts. I hve saved my whole collection for the offchance this might return! gosh, but this is exciting! Loving the Visorak looking set and what appears to be a mask featured with the villains, showing off that they are definitely a collectable element. Gotta say, the mask questing was my favourite aspect of the 2001 story, so I'm glad to see it might be the big focus again. Do you suppose Greg might be back for the story? Will it be a reboot, or a distant sequel? So many questions.... but also much excitement.

pretty decent, though I would recommend beefing up her front a bit. Her head was a bit small compared to her massive legs in the movie. That bit where really showed her actual scale.

dude... thank you... I'm absolutely sold on all these figs. Tremor armor is just too cool, and Toxikita and her henchman are superb. -

Any chance you might put a classic skull in the armor? I'm curious to see what it'd look like. -

shoot... no recoloured octopus on the back. I was really hoping they'd include the gold/tan octopus from the movie version.- 2,626 replies

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
---Vertea--- replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm actually thinking that the green fig might be a variation of the Squidman mold from SP3. I can kind of make out a green head with two green eyestalks on either side...- 2,626 replies

I'm gone for months and I come back to find Pacific Rim and Cloverfield discussion?? Boy have I been missing out! I'm not gonna lie, I'm really very happy with these descriptions thus far. The minifigs intrigue me, as I've been mostly System for the past few years. But if this turns out as good as it sounds, I might just have to pull out my few HF and the Bionicle Box again.

Really digging that scorpion! Shame we can't get a better look at that spider, tho. Like to know what's going on with that head mould. I was kind of up in the air about Chima before... Don't get me wrong, I LOVE me some creature figs, but mammals are kind of less exciting IMO, and a lot of the faces and 'heads' looked a little doofy, to be honest. But with these new tribes(Scorpions/Spiders, and the rumored bats), I might just invest a little into this. At the very least, it'll be good material for space and fantasy MOCs. I mean, just look at that head mold! Fantastic!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
---Vertea--- replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
'tis a shame... I had rally hoped it would be like the cyclops head mold in that the mold came really close to the mini head. still cool, tho. I'll be happy to add it to my lego Monster museum. And just think... if CMF hadn't become a thing, these ideas would have probably popped up as chase figs in various themes, costing considerably more to obtain. -

It just occurred to me that the yeti hairpiece by itself would make a decent Lion's head for a statue. Put a blank head underneath, and there ya go. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion

This is a piece, I believe. One of the upcoming Star WArs sets has such a part for some incarnation of Darth Maul. I could see this part recoloured brown to attach to the dementor bit for a scarecrow. I think it would actually look quite nice. ---Vertea--- -
LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 9 Rumours & Discussion

looking through the pictures of the Galaxy Squad robot minifigures (the ones that show the backs of the heads), I think I can safely say that the CMF mold is a new one. -
I don't think I saw anyone else point this out, but the orange robo-dude seems to have mechanical wings clipped to his back. They might be a new piece, or possibly a recolour of the Chima mech wings.

Well before everyone totally freaks out about this little set, remember what our first image of ninjago was and the storm that followed. ("Nazi choppers, eh what?!") In all reality, this little peek is probably a terrible representation of what the whole series of sets is about, so I'd be cautious to hate it so early. I, for one am a little weirded out, but intrigued nonetheless. Manimal figs and mechanical ripcord bikes is hard to process in such a short time. I think I like it, tho. Weird, yes.... but something's delightfully charming about it. And remember, the Ninjago we know and love was once just an image of a skeleton nazi on a skull chopper fighting a blue tornado.

So... either the heroes are cyborg dudes or it'll feature human characters in space interacting with CGI heroes. God, keep Michael Bay away from this one... Or just let him direct the action sequences. Hero Factory with a gritty realistic touch would be kind of interesting....

Any of you guys hear about the new HF movie? This could be really cool, but who knows... Linky Wow... first post in a while... This probably confirms a continuation of HF sets, unless it's a segue into Villain Factory (an awesome idea) or something. Also, try not to get too irritated if this is old news, I saw this just now on Comingsoon.net, but there's probably been mention somewhere else.

Sweet Celestia that fire jet is gorgeous! Gold brutaka blades and HF tusks? And a sleek nose design, unlike the current jet... Why, LEGO? Why? Jet of awesome

Those Ugokin look FANTASTIC! I'm really impressed with your alien design for this series. Totally non-humanoid, which is perfect. You've done a great job translating alien physiology into lego bricks and I would be SOOO happy to add those to my collection. I'm supporting the project and really hope it makes it through. Really, EB should front page this so it can get some due attention. If possible, could we get some images of the Ugokin heads in detail? I'm curious as to how they connect and if the helmet is molded on.
