I like that these aliens look like they could easily be related to the alien invader from minifigs series 3. Also, the facehugger pet is awesome and that alien solder with the big eyes and fewer teeth is amazing. The cyborg looks... decent-basically same mold as the alien commander with different printing. Not sure if I like it. I do, however, like the commander for that brain...mmmm brains. I'm curious about the abduction function- magnets, perhaps? And the amount of purple we'll be getting is a nice little bonus. Lots of good parts for space MOCs of all kinds, but more importantly a series that's a little bit silly. I think LEGO has been in need of a silly sort of theme lately. That's part of the charm of LEGO for me.

huh. Scorpion has a bitil head..... And I really like the whole mechanical wildlife angle they're going for. Makes for lots of imaginative playtime.

Actually, I think those are alien organisms that attach on to minifig heads like head crabs or facehuggers. The alien in the defender set is pretty cute, I want three. Basically, this theme is going to be fantastic for space fans. On a side note, could we find the uploader and request close-up shots of the set images? I'm pretty sure they can get bigger than that.

The spinner arena would be tempting except that the only LEGO elements included are the sensei and the spinner, which is NOT worth $14.00. If the arena were at least lego compatable or some kind of baseplate, it would be well worth that price, but I'd rather save up a whole lot for a big set with the sensei than waste a fair amount of better spent money on a cheap bit of gimmicky plastic and a cool fig. I really hope LEGO doesn't try this cheap crap again.

I entered a couple months back. I wouldn't be too worried about not getting an email yesterday. the rules stated that the EARLIEST they would inform us would be the 21st, but this is lego, who isn't known for being so predictable, so we could get results hours or days from now.

I cannot help but think of this when I see the earth dragon. I also think that Garmadon isn't the owner of the fire dragon, since the display also shows the jester skeleton riding the Ice dragon-which is incorrect. I love the dragon head/fire design on the golden sword. I can see this coming up in many fantasy mocs.

heh, what a wond'rous world that would be... But you've got the right idea. Mega Bloks might be crap, but they DO know how to pick themes, and an alien research lab would be an awesome set.

Well given that we alrready have mysterious pictures of the summer Ninjago sets out-of-box, I imagine we'll be seeing other new summer releases soon as well. If not, then I think we'll at least get a teaser logo or something at Toyfair.

I think the Crab Warrior is on par with the Squid Warrior for coolness. I'd suggest bricklink, but for whaat I'd be paying there for all the parts from this set that I want, I may as well buy the whole thing!

I would like to see some more eyestalk aliens or prehaps some glow-in-the-dark heads. And an Area 51 type of playset.

The temple has too many interesting printed parts not to mention that beefed-out katana to be just a MOC

I'm not entirely susre if the visor from the Hazmat suit is removable, though if it were, I can't say it would look too good on other minifig headgear... And that thing he's holding... I hope it can detach because that would make an EXCELLENT sci-fi weapon.

In case this hasn't been posted yet, I just saw this that has some footage of Stranger Tides. Not sure if you guys could find some useful info on what kinds of parts or figs to expect, but interesting bit about those mermaids. Hopefully more than one to the set!

LOVE the Hazmat suit and the mad scientist. And finally real ice skates! I see that the werewolf has the elf hair from S3 in brown which is neat, I suppose. The viking could have used a beard in brown,I think. I really like the beaker piece and the gnome has some great parts for those of us who miss out on the fisherman, but if only his hat were made so it sat on the head a LITTLE bit different.... So close to having a link cap, yet so far....

excellent pics! Can't wait to see hi-res of the Temple and drill set! I think that I like the new print on the new atlantis diver torsos- it has a more classic sci-fi printing look to it. Anyway, I'll likely be getting at least one of each 2011 Atlantis set if it kills me. These are some genuinely exciting sets!
