  1. 3 points to 27) Robot, Pharaoh & Space Alien Entry (Build by Gnewal Gwevus) - a lot of work was put into that one without cramming it full of unnecessary parts. Good job!
  2. which ones?? The one I went to had S3- which is cool because I managed to get an elf, a fisherman, the space villain and the Native American chief. sadly, there weren't any aliens left. Also, nice to know there's someone else in Tucson with a Eurobricks account!
  3. Perhaps a building contest that has particular focus on themed minifigs that don't already exist in those themes? Each theme shown featured non-human figs fighting human figs, so it could also be a create-your-own conflict contest where we create a theme of our own as well as probably one or two sets for it. ALSO- these themes are from three different periods! 2009 2010 and 2011. ...although I could be wrong about the fantasy castle era being present in '09 ALSO ALSO- The three characters show three real-life periods: Pharaohs Quest: age of the adventurer Atlantis: age of technology Skellie: Age of knights and castles
  4. Sorry for the SNOT-awful quality, but I was rushed for time. four robots just chillin'
  5. the tripod has a bumper sticker that says "WE'VE BEEN TO EARTH" That's pretty awesome.
  6. Oh man, those figs are fantastic! The aliens look so good- nice and campy while retaining a fair amount of dignity. And Lime Green tentacle legs!!! That's a buying point for me right there ;) The mothership is huge... the HQ is badass.... This is where my money's going this summer. I really dig the trans-green brain- hope it's a separate part. The guy in blue looks like the tenth Doctor..... and the reporter and farmer are fantastic city figs on their own. Taking many screenshots!
  7. Nuremburg usually has lot's of close-to-finalized sets. Lots of prototype plastic new molds etc. But it will be a good look at the sets, provided someone thinks to take good pics at multiple angles. *keeps fingers crossed* But ultimately,, it's the NY Toyfair that I'm really looking forward to because the good fellows at BZP always take huge batches of nice quality photos of specifically Legos and they are uploaded to Flickr within moments of their triumphant return, so we'll definitely get our fill of eye candy then. Not to mention the fact that there seem to be more finalized parts at the NY one as well as some hands-on stuff.
  8. When you say autopsy feature are you referring to the Earth Defense HQ, or another set. I must've missed that. The fellow in the toyfair london article mentioned autopsy as a theme, meaning it's prevalent enough to be noticed meaning(hopefully) that we will get some sort of autopsy feature. Hopefully. But probably not.
  9. But it IS awfully nice in one's imagination... Still, tho. And underwater theme would be cool. HF style scuba gear and GitD parts are reason enough to want it, I should think. The thing about HF is that their villains can really be anything. And they are not very limited in locale, so there is no way to anticipate what will come next.
  10. I'm looking forward to the beasts! I don't suppose you would mind requesting Alien Conquest pics too?
  11. I'm tellin' ya... LEGO is bringing back magnets.... Just imagine- swoop down the UFO right above the minifig and *click* abducted! Also, I'm curious about the autopsy features.... lego organs would be neat.
  12. Only 27? What is the world coming to? Sad day indeed for the Lego fan group..... Sad, Sad day.... I never knew him personally or on forum, but my condolences go to his family, for no one should have to lose someone so close so soon.
  13. Oh man, I would kill for one of those figs! This year has been hard on my collecting abilities- I haven't purchased a single set since June

  14. PRIZE#08 - Indigenous edit:looks like I was ninja'd
  15. could... but then what about the head? Not too many toothy maw out there

  16. I'm really close to the answer, but the skull is being less than helpful as to what I should be lookin for now...
  17. dude... what are the odds... I'm actually helping out with that website. A friend of mine makes websites and I give him a hand when he needs it. I was supposed to do articles for the Ninjago site, but I've been a bit busy job hunting. I'm actually behind on his stuff, which is pretty inexcusable.
  18. so I've read several posts mentioning the purchasing of Ninjago sets, so where on earth are the reviews? lol I am made sad by the lack of pics.
  19. say, has anyone seen high quality pics? I think I heard someone mention them in another topic...
  20. Pretty sure it's just the preliminaries. Nobody has any finished images yet.
  21. I'm curious about the ufo piloted by the soldier- is there anything in the space or is it just a sort of empty frame?
  22. Ooh! I can see Raw Jaws head! It's... a saber-toothed tiger.... Well I suppose it's not all bad- I just wish it were reptilian
  23. that's actually there to prop the minifig up for the prelim pic, but it looks like they neglected to crop that bit out of the photo lol. A super rifle that wasn't Star Wars related would be immaculate, but we'll just have to see how long this theme lasts and hope for more stuff in the next wave :) I can't WAIT for Toyfair now... We'll finally get pics of mostly finalized sets in person as well as glimpses of prototype parts that are sure to spark discussions.
  24. I don't see the monster rifle... and I'm pretty sure the pistols are the same only in two colours(which is cool.
  25. Actually, it looks like the tripod alien has a bit of pink at the back of his head, so likely brains.
