"Kept from playing basketball" doesn't sound too scummy. But in case it is, I think Adriano has a good plan: We decide on someone other than Burton to expel today We block Burton again tonight There's always the possibility the doctor saved someone from the kill last night, rather than the blocker blocking the scum kill. If there's no scum kill tomorrow morning, then we expel Burton.

Wow - you used lots of pieces very cleverly here, such as the palettes and ray guns. Your presentation is excellent, and the horse's pose is very energetic. Great job!

MOC: The Burning at Lake Silencio-Doctor Who
jimmynick replied to SteampunkDoc's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The photograph is a little bit too dark; I'd like to be able to see the shape of the boat better, for instance, but the scene is very recognisable. Well done setting up the picture.- 4 replies

The green one is wicked! I love how you made the tubes go into the engines, and you repeated the round shape on the front end. The exhaust (is that right?) on the purple one is really cool as well - great job with the angles.

Depends, but I like to keep mine together. A few of them I separate into parts for MOCs and that's that. I still have the Robie House in perfect condition, but I've modded a few other sets into how I feel LEGO could have made the set better or more playable.

Yes, you can, but you didn't explain why you went from focusing on Andrew and Claire to focusing on four different people, then back to Andrew and Claire (well, I suppose now you have). Really? What I said then stands for itself. The rules say that everyone has to vote every day. At that point, I started leaning towards Andrew as town and I thought you were the next scummiest thing. Voting for John would have been a bad thing; my vote would have sealed his lynch and I was completely confused as to why that bandwagon came about. That the scum killer targeted you that night was completely by coincidence! Don't worry; I explained in post #29 why I think you're town. I won't vote for you again.

4. AussieBJ - 1 Nice representation of a petrol station. 6. ER0L - 2 That roof! 7. Zed_43 - 1 Looks just like a modern-day Shell station. 11. greg3 - 1 Unexpectedly different and clever. Well done to everyone. You all came up with lots of good entries; I wish I'd had time to build a petrol station for this contest! -

The stereotypes of America discussed in this thread are fairly amusing, but what really gets me is that the skin (bright blue + dark blue + red) hurts my eyes to look at. -
MOC: Teach me the Greenhouse Effect !
jimmynick replied to TheBrickAvenger's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Since this deals with the greenhouse effect (atmospheric) rather than climate change or the larger carbon cycle that involves the sea, landmasses and biomasses, I forgive not having a cross-section of the earth in the mosaic. Nice job representing the atmosphere (and that little factory!). Good luck in MocAthlon! -
Wonderfully built and expertly presented. Great job! I like your little touches such as the lutenist and bog.

Some years ago I bought the 6212 X-Wing. I broke it up almost immediately. I can't really say I regretted the decision to drop $50 on it, but I didn't get as much fun out of that as I did out of, say 6210 Sail Barge or 7036 Dwarves' Mine.

You know what? Jeanie hasn't said anything of significance since Day Three. Today, she goes off on Claire and Andrew because of the failed lynch on Simone three days ago. The best explanation for the "scum" result on Simone is a frame. That takes all the blame of Andrew and lets him stay a townie. I already explained why I think Andrew is town: So I'll stand up for Andrew (I'll also stand up for Claire). Jeanie stood up for Claire on Day Four: But now Claire is your 2nd best suspect, after someone who is almost certainly town (and the investigator to boot)? Now yesterday after the revelation Shawna had been blocked, Jeanie still didn't know for whom to vote: Shawna had claimed serial killer. She was the ideal lynch. Why waver? And now Jeanie has gone and voted for Andrew instead of explaining or following up on her suspicions of Adriano, Chuckie and me. I know Andrew got a "town" result when he investigated you, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's because you're the godfather. I'm surprised I didn't notice your inconsistent suspicions and lack of contribution earlier than now. So I Vote: Jeanie Bueller (badboytje88)

One could say the same about the red group. And that if you try to break it down to even smaller groups, then statistics breaks meaningful analysis (pink group - what does that even mean now?). One could also say that the town blocker was suspicious enough of Claire (in the red / yellow group) to block her in the night. I don't know what to do yet.

Come on, even in America April Fool's Day is long gone. -
You still haven't told us if you contacted your blocker. Let's look at Mary Jane's list of suspects one by one: Andrew claimed to have been blocked on Night Four with this little exchange: Now we know that Cameron is town, I think this conversation is the result of actually being blocked in the night (wondering what the night action meant), and if he were scum, I doubt he'd be thick enough to claim to be blocked a second night in a row. Also, if you're scum claiming investigator, you know who everyone is so it's easy to give a real result. I think Andrew is town. I'll get to you at the end of this post. Brian claims he's in contact with the blocker, but he's slow in telling us what happened last night. Nevertheless, I believe him. Why? The claimed blocker blocked Shawna on the two nights in which there were no scum kills. Shawna turned up scum. And Shawna claimed serial killer (which was a lie, but she claimed a killing role). I think that goes together properly. I think the blocker is town. If Brian were scum, he probably would not have told us the blocker's result. Thus, I think Brian is town. Adriano was very helpful yesterday with his voting analysis and little suspicions survey. I also don't think a scum would ask people questions in PM like Adriano did. I think Adriano is town. I don't know about Claire - no huge scum-vibes and I had a town read on her before the Simone fiasco. She's been lying low, trying not to get lynched. I think Claire is town. But if you want to lynch her, go ahead. Mary Jane, for being so interested in the identity of the blocker yesterday, for seeming to deny Shawna was the scum killer today and for pointing the finger at two people I can logically deduce are town and two people I would defend as town, I think you're the scum we're after. We are at 12 students today. That is probably a 4 / 8 or a 5 / 7 split. We need to expel scum, and fast. So I'm going to start a very slowly rolling ball. Vote: Mary Jane (mostlytechnic)

That's not what I meant, though I admit my words could be interpreted that way. The "ratting out" I refer to is in Shawna's last comment, in which she claims Andrew is not what he seems. I think she was lying and trying to cause trouble. That is, if Andrew were actually scum, Shawna wouldn't have said that, I think. But we get to WIFOM.

This is the latest from the BBC, in which North Korea decides it will use nuclear weapons more prominently in its defense. I'm inclined to think that The Sun is jumping the gun a little.

Seeing as Shawna was expelled at the end of the day, she should not have been able to send in any night actions. It's possible now that the scum killer targeted the people who were protected two nights in a row and that the twice-blocking of Shawna was a coincidence. But Shawna apparently claimed Serial Killer to Adriano - why would she do that if she weren't covering herself as scum killer? Or that Andrew is lying to us. He's got an incorrect "scum" investigation, two "town" investigations and two not-investigations. But why would a scum rat out another scum? You've posted twice but haven't discussed any more your survey results from yesterday.
