Mafia Mafia: Day Two - Lynch Lunch Hour!
jimmynick replied to Zepher's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
*POKE* If we're playing "he said, she said" then what's your interpretation of your interaction with Kristel via PM? Have you analyzed any of the posts you dumped on Page One? When was the Adam Ant concert you went to? -

I understand being a control freak, and I'm sorry I screwed up the vote tally. I'll see that you follow through on counting fake and real votes. -
Mafia Mafia: Day Two - Lynch Lunch Hour!

PGO, Virgin and BONAG: It's precious that you guys decided to vote for The Serial Killer because he had not shown up to defend himself. I'm not excusing what he did, but seriously? You're all on my radar, and the Cultist still is as well. Like I said yesterday: not comfortable? Don't vote. Voting whilst confused, especially now there is only one unvote, is a very bad idea. You clearly think The Role Cop is out to get you; why not vote for him? Way to hammer someone for not talking in the thread! I agree with Cult Leader, et. al. because The Female Lover does seem to be attempting to lead whilst avoiding responsibility. I've done enough reading for now. -

I'm sorry; I was writing a post, and I didn't see that the Cult Leader had voted before I posted my (now irreversible) vote that has unfortunately tied the lynch again. -

I think voting is still open... could The Cop please explain what he meant by that? Anyway, I'm going to Vote: The Cultist (Fred Daniel Yam) for wishy-washiness and placing an OMGUS vote against The Usurper (I'm not defending The Usurper, but please). I'll probably be away for the rest of today, so this is the First Day Lynch signing out. -

You're not comfortable about voting for someone, yet you broke the tie of 3 vs. 3 on The Cultist vs. SK? As far as I can tell, the rules do not force us to make a decision every day. If you feel uncomfortable making that decision, leave it to the rest of us. That, and the fact you're being quiet for the most part today, means a ping. You're not worth a vote today because that would just split everything further. I cannot unvote once I vote today, but I'm trying to decide for myself between The Cop and The Cultist. -

I reread the thread and found you didn't fakevote for anyone... sorry. How about we ignore my fakevote tallies because I obviously can't count, and someone else can start from scratch with another one? While we're in this pile of indecision (SK, please come back!) I might as well: Unvote: The Serial Killer (Walter Kovacs) -
Mafia Mafia: Day One - Day One

Sorry I messed up the tally on Fake Votes. Here goes: The Serial Killer (Walter Kovacs): 2 (The Female Lover (Hinckley), The Usurper (Trumpetking)) The Usurper (Trumpetking): 3 (The Snake Charmer (DarthPotato), The Serious Roleplayer (Tamamono), The First Day Lynch (jamesn)) The Virgin (Clanure): 1 (Blacked-Out NA Guy (Bob)) To clarify what I said to The Usurper: I think you're posting lots of times about saying the Snake Charmer has snakes in his hands as if you are worried about something. You (and The Serious Roleplayer) are making a big deal over Day One silly banter and its after-effects. The Serious Roleplayer is hounding you for almost nothing, and you are submitting. You don't have to answer every question, especially if some are silly (e.g. "Why did you say the Snake Charmer has snakes, instead of the Snake Charmer saying so?"). If an accusation like that is stupid, it should just slide off without you doing anything. What it looks like to me is that you are trying to dig yourself out of a hole that wasn't there to begin with, but is forming around you now. But now I think a little more, I find The Serious Roleplayer suspicious for coming out with such a detailed and extensive analysis of your posts and going after you for the Page One chatting. Unfakevote The Usurper (Trumpetking) Fakevote The Serious Roleplayer (Tamamono) -

I'll tally up the fake votes for now: The Serial Killer (Walter Kovacs): 1 (The Female Lover (Hinckley)) The Usurper (Trumpetking): 3 (The Snake Charmer (DarthPotato), The Godfather (Kadabra), The Serious Roleplayer (Tamamono)) The Virgin (Clanure): 1 (Blacked-Out NA Guy (Bob)) And real votes: The Serial Killer (Walter Kovacs): 2 (The Talking Animal (mostlytechnic), The First Day Lynch (jamesn)) The Tree Stump (Adam): 1 (The Male Lover (LegoDad)) The Snake Charmer (DarthPotato): 1 (The Cult Leader (Rufus)) The Cultist (Fred Daniel Yam): 1 (The Godfather (Kadabra)) So we have a lynch subject favoured by a minority (3 of 23). We should get more people fakevoting so we can have consensus when the lynch comes around. Stand up and have your fakevotes counted, people! Considering the events of the past few hours, I think The Serial Killer's faux pas is more forgivable than others'. I think I will fakevote: The Usurper (Trumpetking) because he's talking too much to say very little about what he's been doing on Day One, of all times. He strikes me as paranoid and worried that every little thing he does looks like a scumtell. -
Eh. Yahoo is letting Tumblr keep the X-rated content. There are lots of great photos on Flickr, aside from the LEGO pictures. I've never seen graphic content on Flickr, and I haven't even specially configured my settings. But I suppose that if you wanted to see it, you could. I haven't read the T&Cs on Flickr, but to me, Yahoo isn't responsible for its members' content. Just find where you want to hang out and everything'll be OK.

I'm going to Vote: The Serial Killer (Walter Kovacs). I hope he does come back soon to respond to the unrest over his dodgy logic. -

OK - several posts happened when I was reading the thread. @NPC: Why did you write a paragraph about the Talking Animal / Snake Charmer / Usurper conversation, only summarizing who talked to whom? The conversation looks to me like banter in a group of people. Am I the only one who isn't satisfied with The NPC's response? -

I read what the Vanilla Townie said last night, but I was tired and only just realized his point. Suggesting that the Blacked-Out Guy cannot be any killer because roles are not related to characters is woefully bad logic. I agree with the Female Lover and the Vanilla Townie in this respect. The plural of anecdote is not data, but I agree with you a little. Perhaps it's because The Host has deconstructed the genre and made the roles open that there is not so much first-day-discussion happening. The Tree Stump could help you with that! -

I had a look over the day thread as well and two posts caught my attention. Coming out with wild and baseless accusations on the first page of the first day strikes me as peculiar. Great puns aside, will The Cultist come back to the conversation? Good point, Faceset Headset Female Lover! -

Ah, you see, my strategy is to be totally weird and stuff until everyone thinks I'm the best first day lynch. JOAT isn't even a character here. Mind you, its not really a strategy. I'm a total n00b as you can see my characters description, but the consequence is that I live up to my name. -

I need protection, because I have all of the night actions. -
The photostreams have all the photographs bunched up horribly, and it's difficult to focus on just one photo when there are so many surrounding it and distracting you. The interface for groups seems to be the same, though, which is not bad. Navigating between images took me a few moments to work out (why do the arrows only show up when you hover near them?)

Why the Rainbow MOCs and did you do it?

I also had a multicoloured castle a few years ago (photograph of one version below). It's an issue of how many bricks children have, and when they build things (when I built things as a child) it was always about the fun of inventing something and making stories to go with what I made, and not the aesthetics of it. Of course, I always tried to change things out for more suitable colours when I found the parts, but when you're a kid it's not a primary concern. -
You might want to consider some SNOT to cover up the bottoms of the plates on that grey building, but on the whole this city is rather astonishing with its varied styles of architecture. The stands in your stadium are very clever. I'd really love another view of your opera house, because that has a great shape as well. Keep building and expanding Brickville; it's wonderful!

One. Looks interesting. I'll let you have your fun.

Great! It's very reminiscent of the TARDIS. I like your little K-9, as well.
