Thanks Pombe! Thanks Big Sal! Yes your very right about that, The caves appear little on the outside but it opens up on the inside so chances are some caves can have more crystals in there then the ones you can see. Thanks Orange Leader! Now I want to say that this is my first time doing SNOT build for a landscape scene, I never built anything like that before but I'm well familiar with how to build with SNOT techniques. Thanks Jody Meyer! I've been trying to use POV ray since I have had LDD on my computer but it has never worked up until I updated it to 3.7 which was about last week ago. Finally It works, picture takes about an hour or 2 to render on the lowest setting. Thanks Lady K! I'm glad you like my first Snot build. It was very fun to build. However I'm well aware with how to build with SNOT for the most part but after going over the tutorial gave me a very good idea on how to construct rock formations so I just took off with it in all directions. Thanks Commander Beltar!

Ok, That makes sense. Motor size is important when you want to mount it with the screw holes, It is easy to mount this way but your very limited as to what motor is able to fit to. That was one of the first methods I tried to connecting up some motors with LEGO so I already been down that road. That is why I dont use the front screw holes on the motor to connect with LEGO and instead use jb weld to mount bigger motor sizes with LEGO. When you have the motor sandwich (like the picture below) in between two liftarms the motor is more adaptable with building and I could also remove this custom motor and can connect up the XL motor in its place.

[Challenge 1] Jen's Star Mountain Side Well with the help from the tutorials here is my first Snot scene done in LDD and render with POV ray. This build represent Jens Stars Mountainous Terrain with near vertical mountain side cliffs that have hidden pocket of crystals along with vast fields of wild flowers. I made most of the mountain scene with my own bricks on a flat base plate but then I had to moved my build to LDD to complete the landscape because I wanted a detailed rocky terrain look then just a mountain scene connected to a flat base plate. Excellent, Nice to have you on board Chuck Silver. Since you are new I will catch you up to speed what Octan Corp is doing. Right now Octan Corp is divided up into some groups. We have some Ideas right now as to what planet we are going for but we don't know if you able to join at the moment. I have a couple of quick questions, do you think you can get a build up for this week? Also, What planets do you feel most comfortable building at the moment? I wont go in to much details why I ask these questions but at the moment just give some quick thoughts about it so we can figure out if you can fit the part.

Excellent cave, I like the looks of it.

Alright, so you have used the transmission with this, that is great. Your using the 380 motor which could be the problem for insufficient power have you thought about stepping up the motor size to a 550 to see if that was powerful enough to drive everything. Do you have any information about the motor here, RC Motors come in a variety of styles with different amount of winding's.

Nicely done Nerdsforprez! I see you used a RC motor on Sheepo's Mustang. Looks like everything work out good. Do you know how much voltage is the motor receiving here, this could be the reason why it is not as fast as intended? Also do you plan to incorporate one of Sheepo's Transmission for this down the road.

Neat build! I like the way the Power source radiates with power. That is what I need to finish my motor project, some blue LEDs.

I just released my report on the Underground water pumping station I built on Jen's Star.

Week 2: Transmission 3 AD3851 Maian 23 Location: G05 - Jen's Star Tags: Civil, Building After mapping out a sector of the Cave system I came to a vast underground water aquifer. The cave area was pretty big around the water so I decided that this area would be a good spot to put the Water pumps. The supplies for the Water ram pumps came quickly and was a very easy to assemble. The great thing about these water ram pumps is that it uses no electricity to move water up through the cave system and will work none stop always pumping water.
