  1. Great micro build here Louis!
  2. The ingot tiles as books work really well, I'm filing that technique away for future use!
  3. While most citizens have visited the stalls around the Black Knight's Statue, few are aware of the hidden economy in the sewers below. My entry to the 12x12 vignette category of the 2021 Summer Joust. Go Wolfpack!
  4. Dude, that mirror at an angle is just incredible. Well played sir, well played indeed.
  5. Those ballot boxes are perfect. Brilliant idea really. And I'm not even shopping for votes!
  6. Really great sense of movement packed into this small footprint!
  7. This is so dang cool! Brings back some childhood memories of playing with my brother's 6057 Sea Serpent. I'm seriously considering purchasing your instructions for this beauty.
  8. Beautiful vig here!
  9. I only ever got a couple of the polybag sets for Fright Knights in my youth and I also stared at the catalogues probably way too much back then, so I totally understand your yearning here! Thus, I absolutely love this upsized revamp! Really cool how you maintained the same forward cant to the fore and aft roofs, in addition to all the other complicated angles here. And, of course, the dragon is spectacular!
  10. This is a fun build Niku! The fall colors obviously pop out of the screen but I also really like all the lived-in details you crammed into the MOCs footprint.
  11. Awesome interior! Really like how you crafted all the equipment and squeezed it all into the build. If I had one criticism, it's that the interior walls are very bare in some of the pictures. Some racks with tools, couple more lamps, pictures or shields or something to bring some life to the interior might have helped. Great build!
  12. Louis of Nutwood: 1 point Henjin_Quilones: 1 point
  13. Ayrlego: 1 point Gideon: 1 point
  14. Thanks jtooker! I too wonder what this architecture would look like expanded to more buildings.... Thanks zoth33! Thanks buddy, I totally see what you mean. In fact, I used similar angular door jam similar shaping with a previous dwarven build!
  15. This is a really nice wagon! I think the only bit of this MOC that leans towards "comedic" as you noted is the height of the bench for the driver. If it was attached to the wagon 2 studs lower I think that would help a lot with the proportions.
  16. There's some great architectural work in this MOC and some clever parts usage adde51! Those grey armor pieces near the top of the coral tower in particular are both unexpected and perfect.
  17. Nice build Gideon! I like your approach to the challenge here with building a tower that is not the typical watch tower format and in doing so you also added relevant lore to the lengthy pages of Historica.
  18. Thanks! Thanks Grover! Yes, I was trying to keep all the rockwork horizontal here in general as I thought it would be the quickest/easiest/most parts efficient method to build out the base and I thought it look pretty cool as well. I do admit that the overhang got a little bit out of control for that section though! Thanks Louis! "for some reason the trees growing out of it don't bother me at all." That's fair! Until you mentioned it it honestly never occurred to me that trees as big as are here probably would have a tough time growing as I depicted.
  19. I'm glad you were able to squeeze this one in under the deadline MKJoshA! Your signature lavender foliage works well in the frozen landscape once again and I like the tower itself, making it look like it was truly cut into the cliff probably wasn't easy but it looks great.
  20. Cool tower! It definitely has that Nocty vibe but transported to Kaliphlin. The spiky plants also feel appropriately dangerous.
  21. Your color choices here are simply awesome mccoyed. The color blocking of those colors is on point and the overall shaping of the beast is just perfect. I really like how you incorporated the wheel well pieces too! I never would have thought of using those to ease the transition between body and appendage.
  22. Perhaps the most awesome thing about this challenge is how it has pulled the old guard back into the Guilds for a while! As others have noted already, the sand dune technique is really cool--was the minimal elevation change here intentional? I'm wondering what that method looks like with a little more height change between each ring. As for the tower itself, it's certainly evocative of the chess piece and I really like the colors. Good to see you building in Kaliphlin again Si-MOCs!
  23. Instantly recognizable as Varlyrian!
