  1. This has been public for a while, but it's still an amazing MOC! The shaping of the snow is absolutely fantastic--the best you've done so far IMO, I really need to get some more tiles so I can try your block wall technique--it looks really good here even in the limited space, I love how "overbuilt" the ladder is--perfect for Mitgardia , and finally, I don't know why I haven't built that fig yet! It's a perfect civilian parts combo and I have them all! Gorgeous build buddy.
  2. Thank you! Thanks Tomsche! Thanks Garmadon, nice to build something for the home team after the all the Kali MOCs! Thanks man! Thanks Captain #1, your detailed comments are always appreciated! Thanks! Thanks Kai! Thanks man! Thanks Gideon! Thanks BMS! Captain #2, thanks much! Peas seem an appropriate summer staple for the chilly Mitgardia Thanks LJ! Thanks Graham!
  3. Sweet little build! The active camo is a fun gimic! Do you use the Geonesian troopers as the base for your pirates?
  4. Welcome fellow Guildsmen! But what's with this M.A.N.T.I.S. silliness?
  5. It snowed last night, which was strange for summer, even for Mitgardia. Erik was shoveling some of the snow off the path when Olaf saw the Beacon of Marek burning. Leaving the pea soup at the watch fire, Olaf grabbed a branch from the fire and lit the beacon of the Bay of Storms as he wondered if it had anything to do with the summer snow or the rumors of snowy white demons. Hopefully he'd see the beacons of Arcium and Daydelon light up soon in the distance. I'd like to request UoP credit for: Landscape Design - studs up rocks & cliffs Some more angles on Flickr, C&C appreciated!
  6. I like the fish-like shaping of the craft.
  7. 43 credits to Bob the sometimes CEO, but always CFO!
  8. I really like the character development here! The last story pic with the monster under ground seemingly about to strike and pombe's oblivious expression suits the text beautifully.
  9. Thank you all! Thanks man. There is some clutch power between the ice cream pieces. Some fun examples. (In addition to mine )
  10. A cool MOC with a fun cliffhanger/foreshadowing of future MOCs? Awesome!
  11. I really like the clean, blocky lines of the mech Mike. The vents and fans on the back are sweet detail too and those Technic panels as flooring are fantastic. I do think some better lighting would benefit the build though.
  12. Way cool. Way cool indeed.
  13. Gorgeous! The fact that this is a 360 display piece adds to the awesomeness. While I certainly believe this took about 4 months, the fact that your wife let you take over the dining room for those 4 months is mildly unbelievable. Lucky man you are indeed.
  14. Great tag Ecc, thanks! Also thanks to ALL the story organizers for an excellent challenge premise.
  15. Best tower to Little John. Not the tallest of the group, but definitely the prettiest.
  16. Yeah, Texas has been fun for the past month too --I completely understand ME! Hard to get much done when you're glued to the TV every night wondering if the tornadoes are close enough that you need to find a hole to crawl down On the bright side, no more drought!
  17. Yay snow! A touch of white on the tower top would have perhaps been interesting, but I like the tower, the round bricks and the (almost) headlight bricks work well together for texture.
  18. That stack of wood is FANTASTIC! I really like the smooth snow with the trampled path too.
  19. Probably August-ish. There's usually a break between challenges to allow for determination of winners and/or storylines. Plus, after this one, we all probably need to go get some physical therapy for our fingers!
  20. Too cool! Love the play function I assume there's a rubber band in there somewhere?
  21. Thanks all!
  22. Thanks folks!
  23. Thanks guys!
  24. This made me laugh pretty hard! "cutting edge technology" indeed! Excellent base and walker too!
