This is a really cool build Garmadon! If I was to point out a weak point it would be that there is nothing in the window. A fig or two inside, some flowers outside, furniture inside, or something else would have been great I think.

Looks good to me kabel. The only thing I might do differently is to use inverted corner pieces in the, uh, corners if you've got them. The old grey, few texture bricks, and the windows break it up just enough to avoid the Big Grey Wall Syndrome.

The Algus Saga: A long forgotten enemy

Quite the impressive MOC Ecc! I like the bits of tan in the structure, they tie the baseplate in nicely. -
Fantastic! I can't wait for more of the Nocty storyline to be revealed.

I missed this earlier, which is a shame. Usually I'm not a fan of the Technic elbow trees, but here it works really well.

"suspension" may have been too strong a word, but they are independently articulated. Thank you! I figured since team Octan has been tying each other in for the last couple weeks, I might as well jump on the bandwagon. Thanks!

Awesome all around. Love the speeder and all the mushrooms--and the reptorslicer is a cool mash-up of a parrot and a pterodactyl!

Location: G08 - Xerillian Tags: Exploration, Land/Water Vehicle --Weekly Explorer's Transmission-- --Log of Eagle-Eye Silver— -- 07 Junali 3815-- The landscape of Xerillian is, frankly, bleak. Sand and rocks as far as the eye can see. Due to the sandy surface, I left my jetpack on the Lone Hawk and grabbed one of Octan’s Jaguar 4x4s. These things are just about as much fun as a minifig can have on four wheels! I cruised around on Xerillian for a few days and noted mainly scorpion-like insects crawling through the sand. (Luckily I didn’t encounter any of the mantis creatures Bob of Quatrian noted in his report the other day!) These scorpions are freakishly fast though—they can almost keep pace with my Jaguar at half speed. I believe they are the same species Big Z sent to Dr. Long. Apparently most of the planet can support their life and they have appeared in two colorings—black (common) and dark red (rare). I wonder if Dr. Long has discovered anything useful about them yet? I took some shots at a few of them the other day with my rifle. They sure do have a tough shell on them. Eagle-Eye out. --End-- I'll post some standalone pics of the Jaguar next weekend. I'm pretty pleased with it! You can't really see it from the pics so far, but all four wheels have "independent" suspension. C&C appriciated!

A counter to Garmadon's F1 guerrilla. As most Historicans know, the Doctors of Historica at the University of Petraea are unrivaled at applying their knowledge to the betterment of Kaliphlin, but they hide perhaps some of their most impressive achievements. One of these are the great sun rays guarding the entrance to the Inland Sea. As a Ulandan privateer found out, there is no "sneaking" through the shelter islands to the Inland Sea. The great sun rays collect the intense Kaliphlin sun through a reflecting dish; then, through a series of lenses provided by the University, turn the sunshine into an intensely destructive ray of light and heat. The privateers' ship never stood a chance--especially since they were trying to sail (unsuccessfully) into the wind with a square-rigged ship! Garmadon!!!!! I spent probably an hour jacking around with this silly thing--after I built it! Unless you did something I couldn't figure out, nothing of importance is actually stuck to anything. Plus, me in my (clearly) infinite wisdom decided to more or less link the unstable ship to the extremely unstable tower with the death ray! I can't tell you how many times I knocked something down. Anyway, you can add me to the same list MassEditor is on. Also, I'd like to claim the microscale credit for UoP. C&C appreciated.

Excellent landscaping Graham! I'm with Kai, the olive green was a really good color choice. The non-dished plants kind of get lost though, I'd get some trans neon green 1x1s on top of them if you have any.

That's a really cool cross-section of a base! The curve is awesome
-
Very nice! Full size/up close it does look a little rough, but as your profile pic and I'm sure "from across the room" it looks fantastic.
-
Phenomenal MOC! I really like the reversal of the typical "light bley with dark accents" to the opposite in the lighthouse tower.

Thanks guys! I think the jetpack will be a recurring thing for AG, the lava wyrm? I hope not!

Wow! The big critter is fantastic!

Indeed! I agree with SK about the path or even a ladder.
