  1. Solid build, and you're definitely right about the blue background. I do admit to being fairly anti-fleshie though and the flesh colored hands on the monkey don't look right to me.
  2. Thanks Captain, I figure the castles in Kali have to have some tan in there, so if they've got a grey base, there's going to be at least three colors involved. Thanks John, I can't claim the tree though! Thanks you two, I've been headhunting for a while to build up the expressions my figs can have. lol - thanks! Thanks Graham! Thanks Captain! Go back to the ocean from whence you came!!! Thanks Garmadon, I'll be honest, inspiration didn't strike until pretty late last night
  3. Clearly we're more angry about the Ulandan invader's gear than we are about the actual invaders! "The leak" as in "from his neck" I take it?
  4. Wait...... Bionicle. There, I said it. It's out in the universe now. As to the MOC, I like the concept, though the boat is a little on the weak side for me. Solid and different nonetheless!
  5. This is just pretty. Calm too, I'd kinda like to vacation in a spot like this.
  6. Thanks folks, this is my second underground/above ground MOC for GoH and I'm going to have to figure out how to build more!
  7. Awesome how cramped this MOC is. I wish I had thought about doing something smaller in scale like this, I stayed out of this warzone due to my lack of tan bricks, but I might have been able to stretch them just far enough for a little vig like this.
  8. Great work on the beastie!
  9. That's a GREAT technique for railings you used in the wagon! And I feel your pain with the white horse, try building in Mitgardia with all our snow!
  10. Thanks robuko! I had you in mind when I posed the little mini-scene with the helmet.
  11. I finally grew a Masa Palm--woohoo! Perhaps in retrospect, attempting to capture the fertile Great Loop was an error by the Desert King. More than one of his mummies died simply from falling into the river and the rice paddies. But when the High Council arrived to aid the Ulandans, there was no quarter given to the Desert King's forces. Reports from the scribes tell tales of mummy warriors willingly jumping to their deaths by water rather than be dealt with by Skullcrusher and his well used--and legendary--steel club. Skullcrusher on the warpath. Educating mummies by beating their heads in since the rise of the Desert King. A few more on Flickr.
  12. I guess this is the fourth in this series: Garmadon's guerrilla (entering Ras-El-Akhen) marcu22's guerrilla (attempting sabatage) Bergier's counter to marcu22 (captured!) and now my counter to Garmadon: After their capture at the gate, Cedric and his pal were given prisoner of war status. As part of their detention, they’re responsible for taking care of the Ras-El-Akhen pigpen. As Cedric cleans out the pen, a High Council captain inspects the Ulandan armor. He's less than impressed. C&C welcome! For the Republic!
  13. That's just ridiculous. Great response.
  14. This is a perfect MOC for this crazy Book II
  15. Probably the only appropriate use for those TURPs (Tiny Ugly Rock Pieces? What is the "official" term for those things? BURP. LURP.)
  16. Thanks all! No it won't!
  17. "the un-nameable thing"!!! Fantastic story to go along with a sweet MOC!
  18. The green under the trans light blue does work really well. I think this is one of your better builds so far, keep it up!
  19. Guerrilla for the High Council against the Desert King:
  20. There are many tombs scattered high in the Rakath Mountains. The Desert King has been drawing his strength by waking the ancient hibernating mummies. As a preemptive action small teams supporting the Kaliphlin High Council have been raiding these tombs to destroy as many of these powerful warriors and sorcerers as possible before they rise. The High Council guerrillas discovered quickly that fire extremely effective for eliminating the bone-dry mummies. More on Flickr. C&C appreciated.
