  1. They won't go back to normal. Accidentally got nail polish remover on one before and it was "tacky" and "swollen" but was a little deformed. Forgot about acrylic paint. It works pretty good. My daughter wanted to decorate a minifig and I used acrylic. It does come off with use, but if it is for a display then it will be fine.
  2. My daughter's Lego friends have the brown almost as dark as the black.
  3. I hhave been hard at lately and stalled out at the cab for 3 reasons. 1. I have VERY little lift arms of yellow or black for exterior use. 2. Having trouble with a design for a stud-less cab for the scale of my tires. 3. I have no money for parts. (at least for a few months) So does anyone have any ideas for a stud-less cab to work with my tires?
  4. I was just poking fun at him for all the parts he has been creating
  5. Probably all of Efferman's parts everyone is ordering!!
  6. The bulldozer looks like a parts set, but I'll pass because I have enough treads as it is. But on my wish list is the loader, cargo plane, snowmobile, and truck. I like those sets and parts.
  7. I waste too much time... flip, add 3 parts, flip, add 2, flip, add.... NOT JUST ONE PIECE!!!! I would have finished my 8043 a lot sooner. I got my instructions everywhere right now because of my dark ages and need to round them up into one place
  8. A picture would be nice. Because I'm lost or tired, but I'm having trouble picturing it in my head.
  9. Tried to do one of the Krusty Krab in LDD from the PDF and had could not tell where the next brown piece went after about step 10 or 12 and gave up.
  10. I would put it in shrink wrap and put it on display right out of the box.
  11. Budwieser beer and Coca-cola use to do this too. Having a 6-pack delivered overnight from their production/distribution facilities across USA. So that's probably the most likely thing. But if it wasn't new sets, it most likely would be the parts that are no longer in production schedule or to add a set to the TLG archives.
  12. The only way they can make production quality prototypes is with a Laser 3D printer. They are not cheap in any way. But with a MakerBot type of 3D printer, they really isn't cheap enough model that can offset the cost of producing pieces to sell. 13. Nice find! Wish my school had those back in th day.
  14. I read about it being up to 14 months, I think. If they don't have to tweek the model than it might be 8-9 months. Because like Sheepo's Defender, they said about 14 months after a final decision of the LEGO High Council.
  15. I missed that pun yesterday when I read it. I was tired though.
  16. I could use about 2M, 2L, and 2XL. That way I don't use 4 driving rings and still limited functions. I only got 4M motors.
  17. Only if it has 6 motors and every part on my wish list!!!
  18. LDD wouldn't let me put the 3L pins w/friction in it how I want. But that's what I came up with. I figured it could be a start, because I don't know what the final creation will be.
  19. I have an Idea: http://www.bricksafe.com/pages/weavil/Ideas
  20. Made me think of this AC-130 Spectre / Spooky / Ghostrider / Stinger II
  21. Buy it and take it to the gun range! Or tape rockets on it!
  22. Love that wall mount too!! The F1 is the best display idea ever! (In my opinion)
  23. It can lift a little bit of wieght. I went and shortened the arms and it lifts better. Having to rethink the loader, I desided to start a new venture.... A wrecker! so far I started the rear of the wrecker and put it on LDD at the same time. Hope you like the start of it. The wheels in LDD are for show, because I have the 68.8 x 24 size only. But if you want to check it here--> Wrecker2.lxf
  24. Here might be a good design for you. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic
