  1. Nice find! A few times I needed one or two like that.
  2. That reminded me of something awsome... Shake the crap out of it apply as many coats as needed (letting dry between coats) and done! Used on other products, non-Lego. It seals, holds, and flexes. It's just liquid electrical tape. IMHO, worth the money. http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=38330
  3. Could that be a Barbie Closet, My Little Pony, and my laptop? That's what's in mine...
  4. The link works for me, but I'll move it to brickshelf in a little bit and put it up.
  5. Always used the 10L axle too or 8L. And the needle nose pliers handy just in case.
  6. You could use studded with plates and a whole bunch of pins!!! Or worm gears to raise ramps and landing gear.
  7. Make sure the tip of the iron is clean. Use sandpaper to clean the tip. Try to get all or most or the old solder off, use small size soldering wire, and take your time. Will try to take pictures of process later tonight.
  8. So that's where all the grey went!!! It maybe half scale, but it could be full scale of some jet engines. Anyways that's HUGE!!!
  9. I always thought the knock-off companies got a hold of the molds and really tooled them (remove Lego logo and dimension). But that was always my thought.
  10. Is it me or does it look an exact copy rip off?
  11. You fought the beast and won! It looks big and amazing!
  12. I had the stuff already, so it cost me nothing. You could try Radio Shack or hobby/RC shop for the wire, online or retail for real cheap.
  13. Did that with a cable like that with the same problem. I think 22 gauge wire is what size it was, but it had a thin coating. As long as it fits in the ends without force. I used a super small flat screwdriver, but if you can use 2 while holding the piece you should be able to open it. But when you close it put a flat tile on top and use channel-lock pliers.
  14. And that's why there is B-model instructions included. It makes it hard to find a certain step/placement online...scroll...scroll...scroll.. that's it!? no...scroll...scroll...
  15. That is spot on! Looks like it could be sold by Lego! Keep up the great work.
  16. Well what's the most number of PF's in a single Lego Technic model that Lego has sold? Because you said something Lego would put on a shelf.
  17. But when you add gears to the axle going through the different, it becomes at least 6L without any spacing. If you put diff then beam then gear it becomes 8L.
  18. close to what i did not to long ago... I never put on LDD before I took it apart so its hard to remember exactly how it was. LXF
  19. I was referring to the picture I posted. It showed long bolts in 3 mounting points. I was saying have more than 3 around the outside of the housing. @LiamM32 The idea was to have an XL or Large motor gears on the outside in a housing like in the picture I posted.
  20. @ Blakbird... I know they did, but I was thing of something for studless and thinner. It would have 4 mounting points on each section instead of 3 like in the picture.
  21. Why couldn't lego do a modular planitary gear set... somethin like this could work. right? Have a way to connect 0 to 6 or more. Also have it so it could be stand alone as well. Like the motor has 1 set on it and 1 at the wheel.
