  1. The movie's original ending didn't say that it was 100% pretend. The minifigure was... moving and thinking in the "real world". It's just the Lego world might largely be influenced and often controlled by the actions of IMAGINATION! That's how I interpreted it anyways. After all no little kid can make up a story that good. :P Little kids suck at writing. I think the main issue is... CAN they do better? The Lego movie was freakin' excellent and topping it would be really freakin' tough. I kind of don't like sequels unless they can do the original justice enough. Even matching or coming close to the quality of the first movie will be really hard. AND they're not using the same writer! I'd say it'll most likely be worse. Maybe significantly worse (because it's such a good movie!).
  2. Because they sucked. What's true has already been said :P. A lot of people don't want to buy things without minifigures (unless it's a really good build and the appeal of the tiny builds is limited). But those minifigure impulse buys feel overpriced. I think the market talked. They could make more money elsewhere.
  3. It is not canon and I would venture that the new show will ignore it since the new show is about the early days of the Rebel Alliance and so is The Force Unleashed.
  4. Stax is defective but the main problem is Moffat is defective at writing.
  5. Javalin? Well that's random and really dumb lol. The rest is fine. :) I'd actually have liked Hawkgirl over Hawkman. The toon made me like her more.
  6. A terrible start to a new season. I'm just incredibly sick of Moffat as a writer. In my opinion the show has gone downhill with him. He's a lot of thunderous promises with absolutely no payoff. Every one of his mysterious have the biggest most obvious plot holes (Timey Whimey isn't a good reason to have these) and no answers. He sucks as a writer. He thinks up the most cool stuff he can think of then just throws them in "just because". That dinosaur was ridiculous and added nothing. I feel like Kevin Smith is talking about Moffat here.
  7. You know, I'm going to guess that this is kind of a fake thread. It's just so unbelievable. I think someone who loves the exclusives made this thread with a fake story to make supporting this plausible. I don't think this is a new Lego fan brought on all because of the exclusives. Even if the exclusives created Lego fans I am doubting one of them would come here and preach like this. It's so odd.
  8. I just can't get behind Superman with the undies. It's like they're taking undies away from all the male characters to try to seem more cool. But that's very much not the problem :P.
  9. I really wouldn't mind if this roster turned out to be true.
  10. Yes. But I just cleared my friends list of all but like 3 people. Dun want friends! ;P
  11. I understand that Darkseid is large and imposing however he's actually not THAT much bigger than the likes of Superman. Often he's barely taller (it depends on the artist). Maybe only a foot taller. I think he'd make a great minifigure OR bigfig (assuming he's not GROOT big which would really freakin' suck, more like the Hulk).
  12. The helmets have a few rounded corners. This infringes on Apple's patent. I smell a lawsuit.
  13. This is one minifigure I do not care about missing. Plasticman? He sucks ;P. Wish I had Iron Patriot though.
  14. I wouldn't limit the Lego charm to blocky builds. All I want is the most accurate representation they can make. Blocky usually isn't the most accurate looking on. Or it just looks a bit more... childish? Dunno how to describe it. The early blocky AT-STs are really ugly IMO (not sure I actually like ANY of the offical AT-STs that are minifigure scale).
  15. The sub-theme of Forestmen. Give me those Robin Hood themed d00ds but in a modern way. I'm usually not for westerns but I also feel like it right now. But I'm not sure how much selling power westerns could possibly have.
  16. The first version is GREAT if you like inferior and ugly stuff. If you want something amazingly inaccurate then it is AWESOME.
  17. Quite an unrevealling picture. :P
  18. Anyone else absolutely despise motion comics? Dear god... they're so terrible! The voice actors are almost universally bad. The animations... if you can't do them good don't do them AT ALL. There is nothing redeeming about motion comics.
  19. I think the simple fact that it's called "Invisible" yet you can see it makes it pretty lame :P.
  20. Someone stuck an old guy's face on Solo's body.
  21. Looks pretty good. It's interesting how sleek it is. Star Wars doesn't usually do sleek unless it's Episode 1.
  22. It's not about rights. Of course they have the right to do whatever they want. It's about "are they being too dickish". I think there's a valid argument for it. "Bizzaro is your favorite character of all time? Too young and poor to go to the one place to get a chance to get one? Oh well, too bad. We're going to limit this so much it makes it unrealistic to collect. Sucks to be you! MARKETING POWER!!!!"
  23. The details aren't the issue. The issues is poor details that suck for a character. The modern Luke seems to have a chiseled face which is odd and doesn't fit the character.
  24. Honestly I can't find myself caring about Grodd who is stupid, or Black Manta who is also stupid :P. Darkseid though... hope it's a proper figure and not freakin' like the Sentinel or Groot. Both are terrible. I'd rather have... well any number of people :P. The Crime Syndicate of America (not happening lol) Bizzaro Brainiac Doomsday (most wanted!) Lobo Metallo Mongul Parasite (with a power absorbed superman face :p) Solomon Grundy And that's only the Superman enemies...
  25. Considering the history I doubt it. You need to do more than fill something with references to make it good (for all ages). Otherwise Star Trek Into Darkness would have been amazing :P.
