  1. I'd say 100% it'll feature the yellow ones but it doesn't have to go beyond yellow and green. Anyways I'm thoroughly unexcited. Can't get excited for Lego games anymore. They haven't changed enough.
  2. Lego LotRs has been dead for a while. It's sad. Really wanted that firey demon things (brain fart and name escapes me right now). They could never do Smaug justice simply because of his size.
  3. I think this set is pretty good. Good to display anyways. In terms of looks I think it's about the same as the older versions honestly :P. I really wish they'd make a minifigure scale or at least make one closer to it though. As for the motorized one. That is the only other one I own. The thing looks a bit odd in the legs and walks like a moron. Anyone know when these are going for sale on the website? I went to a London Lego store for mine but don't really want to make another trip.
  4. Not a fan of the scuplted muscles. Batman in Nolan's had more armory looking stuff which IMO was superior because it was at least a tiny tiny bit realistic. :P
  5. Battlefront games were really the last decent Star Wars games. But even then it relies on the Star Wars license. If you took Star Wars out of it the thing would probably be considered an average shooter. I believe you have to make a franchise game great as if it wasn't in the franchise. Some of the earlier Star Wars games did that. Rogue Squadron and a lot of the PC games would be fully awesome even if it wasn't Star Wars.
  6. "just" lol. That would still take 10000x more power than has ever been presented in any of the hard canon (movies, tv). I cannot take something seriously that takes so many huge liberties. Why would Luke ever have to use an X-Wing if he could just force grip and crush ties by the dozens? I also hate how they essentially did to Vader what they did to the Borg in Star Trek Voyager. The Borg were this powerful menacing threat. Then Voyager made them look like weak chumps that could be easily defeated. Same happens here for Vader. He's supposed to be one of the most powerful Jedi to ever exist. Yet this new kid from nowhere just makes him his play thing. Heck he basically beats Vader and Palpatine combined. Also his love for Juno comes out of nowhere. There was zero character development in the first game. Then suddenly he's in love. I understand the books are much better but seriously, that doesn't matter. *spoilers* Then the Dark Side / Light Side choice didn't make sense. It wasn't really a choice... something completely unrelated would happen in each one. If you choose to make the dark side choice another clone of you runs in and kills you before you can kill Vader. If you make the light side choice that guy doesn't even seem to exist! What the crap? The choice alters the whole of reality or something! Then in the light side choice that robot d00d says "I cannot revive her" talking about dead Juno. I guess he was joking because she woke up anyways. What a jerk... God... The latest Lucas Arts games were just plain terrible. I know people are weeping over "cool looking" games like that 1313 or whatever but I'm pretty darned sure it would have sucked just as much. I have more confidence in EA's ability to make decent games though not their ability to refrain from microtransactioning us to death.
  7. I honestly remember almost nothing about Gen 3. Probably my least memorable gen. I'll buy one anyways :p.
  8. Bought the Steam Star Wars bundle on sale. Playing Force Unleashed II for whatever reason. The first was terrible. The second is terrible too apparently. I mean if you can catch a Star Destroyer with your force powers why not just use those force powers to destroy them? What is the need for ships? Why not rip the things apart with your mind? I'm falling through orbit at one point and using the force to push gigantic cruisers out of the way. How does this kind of power not get used on all the enemies? If you can move a Star Destroyer you should be able to squish a d00d without a second thought. The extreme exaggerations of the Force in this game make me want to die. Kind of makes me glad LucasArts is dead. Nothing they made for years was any good.
  9. Revan needs his buddy Malak. Though I'd say that has a 0% chance of happening.
  10. I haven't really noticed. After dozens of sets and years of this I still haven't gotten a set that was missing a piece. Maybe I'm lucky. The only issues I have had in recent times are the following: -Printing on some pieces is sometimes a bit sloppy. Basically on those non-standard pieces. My Flash has a bit of extra yellow and my LotR Troll has a random paint streak on his back which is annoying. -I had one instructions which had a miscolored couple pages which really confused me and make me piece a few pieces wrong and assume they were missing for a while. It made some blue pieces look purple and stuff. That is basically it. I've actually gotten extra pieces a lot (capes and stuff).
  11. This doesn't really interest me much. I think it's got a good chance of being kind of meh like Smallville. It'll completely force characters to show up way too early like Smallville. Bruce and Gordon will probably meet every main villain before Bruce is even Batman like Clark did in Smallville. Lucky for us Batman isn't as dependent on super powers so many they can portray them a little better than Smallville did. Doomsday and Darkseid were ridiculously bad in Smallville... Meh, I'll give it a chance. I'm expecting nothing. I'm sick of forced prequels. Just give us a live Batman TV show...
  12. Well they're not exactly what I great up with but I'm glad Bebop and Rocksteady are appearing. Bebop has been dieting or something.
  13. The Lego Movie was so good that I really highly doubt the second one can match it. I predict a B movie. Especially now that the original writer is out.
  14. Yeeeah... have to get used to that... I can't say I like how many sets the conversion is literal. $50? Lets charge £50 pounds here! Yeah that's $84... 168% the price as in the US seems good! I thought Lego was expensive in the US! I want that Reven... might have to eBay... :(
  15. I think people don't like the second one because while that is indeed the whole point... it doesn't matter to a lot of people. Some people just don't like mirrors. It feels like a rehash and one that isn't as good as the original. I think I'd prefer original content or something SIGNIFICANTLY better than the first version.
  16. JJ is so hit and miss. If anyone can do it I think he has a good chance at it. But at the same time he makes some pretty bad movies. I mean Star Trek vs Star Trek Into Darkness was night and day. First was great, second was so ridiculously filled with references, so mirrored with the Wrath of Kahn without surpassing it... it's not a terrible movie just not nearly as good. I don't understand why they thought it would be a good idea to try to one up what was previously known as one of the best or not the best Star Trek movie :P. I hope Ep VII doesn't have ridiculous amounts of references that add nothing to the story besides an easter egg. You can't make a story out of nothing but easter eggs.
  17. Poo I think I missed the Revan. Just moved to the UK. Been way too busy. There's an underground strike or something so I couldn't get to the store in a timely manner (too busy to spend that much time). And it seems to be gone from the website (thought it was 3rd-5th). :( Now if I want it it's going to be like $20. XP
  18. These don't seem to be in any Targets or Walmarts by me.
  19. I really didn't care about keeping my account. I saw no purpose so I skipped the step and just use my lego.com one.
  20. I'm tired. Emma is Emma. All Emmas are the same.
  21. Generally negative opinions on Amazing Spiderman 2
  22. The best stories seem to ALWAYS go through draft after draft after draft. Stubbornness just makes stories bad. Like with the original trilogy of Star Wars. That went through years of changes and was night and day in quality (Lucas had people telling him the original drafts were horrible). Then he goes on and has 100% control over the prequels and doesn't take any constructive criticism unless it's from yes-men who only talk about how brilliant he is (seriously, look at the old videos talking to the people involved in making the prequels) which IMO is why the prequels sucked. People are at their best when they're open to change. It doesn't always work but The Lego Movie is another example of the story just getting that much better by the final draft. I'm not saying this draft is terribad or anything. :P
  23. I noticed my US Lego account can be used in the UK store. I assume my US cards will work in the UK store too? I must... ensure I get this Revan... might be too busy... mOVING to go the store myself.
