Got my new Chewie but still no proper Bowcaster.

Gadot is too skinny. IMO Wonder Woman needs to have an amazonian figure and at least have muscle. She's just a stick figure model. Not saying many people (or anything :P) could pull off the unrealistic look of Wonder Woman but at least get someone with some meat on the bone. As for the actual design... yeah it's a bit plain. But I'm open minded. I always hated the American theme that made no sense anyways.

I dislike Jarvis. Random A.I. that nobody cares about? Having a real A.I. would be almost as big as having a real Iron Man armor. He's overshadowed but that would be a HUGE deal. Plus he's like a non-character and just a plot tool for Stark.

That is the single stupidest transport I've ever seen. First off it looks really awkward to sit/stand in there. It looks like you can't sit at all. If you can't sit I hope that thing doesn't move fast because you'll like fly out. But if it doesn't move any fast these troopers are just targets. :P

It's Disney. Kanan will probably make all the villain talk complain about meddling kids or something. My hopes still aren't up. It's a kid show and I don't see it ever having real adult appeal. I wish they'd make these shows for EVERYONE and not just kids (Clone Wars was just kids, yeah some adults liked it but very few beyond core Star Wars fans).

I don't think I'm being greedy if I want a Bizzaro figure. Comparing a minifigure to wanting a hosue? What? Your whole post is pretty far reaching.

My friends don't care since they're not into Lego as much as me and I don't see the negatives outweighing the benefits to Lego. Again, anyone that's into Lego enough won't STOP buying Lego because of this. And these figures often do get around news sites and they do help the word get around to more than just us fans. The fact that they sell for such insane prices just helps get the word out a bit more too. Plus I'm too lazy to write a letter. ;P But hey, if it works then good. I'd be surprised if it did.

I'm 100% certain Lego is aware of the issues people have with these. I'm also 100% certain Lego just doesn't care. They get more out of doing these than they loose. They piss off some Lego fans but the benefits of the marketing probably outweigh that. Many of which are hardcore fans who might cry over this (including me) but will still keep buying Lego.

I'd rather have John Stewart but I'll take this. Maybe in a few years John...

Oh that's nice. I'll be getting it for sure. Hope to see more like that darker Wonder Woman.

New wookies and STILL the stupid arrow based crossbow XP.

It's the same as avengers. They probably went back to it for consistency and Scarlet Witch has long hair. I prefer the shorter hair.

I don't own them because I can't justify spending so much on a minifigure. It's insane and LEGO needs to stop with this crap. I feel like people who actually spend the money on this stuff aren't helping either :/.

I'd buy two in an instant, maybe more :P.

Lego can define it themselves but essentially for me there's 3 types. 1) Usually highly detailed models that are usually of high quality. Not necessarily minifigure scale. Stuff like the big X-Wing. Quite large. 2) Minifigure scale but huge. The UCS Minifigure scale Millennium Falcon! Quite Large. 3) Everything else :P. None-minifigure scale things or just smaller things. However I'd say larger things are in this group too if they're not minifigure scale or just not big enough. Like the Sandcrawler. I want to call it UCS but really, it's not to scale and acts more as a playset. I have difficulty calling the playsets UCS.

The issue with the USM toon is that is has very little adult appeal. No, don't come over here screaming "I'm an adult and I love it!". I know you exist. It's just factual that your numbers are low. USM toon does NOT have universal appeal unlike other things like Teen Titans, Avatar (airbender one ;p), Ninja Turtles, etc. In fact tons of the older group who grew up with very different versions of these things hate the new stuff. Not because it's new, because that isn't an unclimbable hurtle. But because it's new AND doesn't appeal to them. You can make new things appeal to adults and the USM toon failed. Again, I know some adults love it. You're in the huge minority though. The USM toon is by far almost entirely a child affair. So naturally a lot of older viewers will curse the figures based on the new guys and wish for more old styled ones. I for one hate the new Green Goblin and want a classic one.

I'm not sure I could disagree more with the figures :P. The Dewback is awesome. The Bith are the highlights. Greedo's mold is awkward and looks like he has no neck and his head has been punched down. On another note the build sucks. Zero display use unless you like ugly things. There really should be the bar keep and the two thugs. Luke has his overly chiseled face (seriously wat?). Luke IMO should have a blaster in this set rather than a Lightsaber (or better yet both, he wasn't really a Jedi at all yet). And it's yet another Landspeeder that isn't very good. I've seen some minifigure scale customs that are just amazing and yet we get this thing. Minifigures: 8/10 (really just buy for the Bith, Dewback and if you want a deformed Greedo) Build: 4/10 (sucks)

Don't watch these movies expecting it to make sense. There are so many plot holes it's ridiculous. They were obviously not written with keeping a uniform universe in mind.

You know I'm glad like everyone else that they're going back to practical/non-CGI effects for a lot of stuff... but honestly at the same time I'm kind of worried things are going to look too much like puppets :P. The original trilogy is great and all but it does look dated. I'm a bit worried everything is going to look like Farscape or something (Farscape looks freakin' terrible IMO). I love the idea of getting rid of green screens and using sets but when it comes to the creatures I hope they don't just look like puppets. That's just as bad as bad CGI IMO. Maybe they'll use a mix... Idunno.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion
BrickG replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Flashback Shredder lasted forever. I get the feeling people generally didn't care about him. I know I didn't and I'm a big Turtle fan. They had no shortage of this minifigure :P. Or maybe they just made a ton more than say Martian Manhunter. -
It's already available in Lego stores. Has been for a while. IMO it's kind of bland inside. I was going to buy it but really, it's just a large brown blob with a lackluster interior and not to minifigure scale.
-
I swear I put my location :P. I was at least thinking it! London. I haven't seen much yet but they're appearing now in at least some places.
-
A few of the new sets are making it into stores besides Toys R Us and Lego stores now. Bought a Snowspeeder at a random nobody store.
-
Finally got to catching up on Agents of SHIELD. Don't see what was so good about it. 7/10. Season ended stronger than it started but that's not saying much.

I have lots of old Snowtroopers. Honestly I don't mind the new ones. They blend pretty well with the old ones.
